1098: Chapter 1121: Did You Realize Your Mistake?
In the mirror, her hair was in disarray, her makeup long since ruined.
Mascara smudged under her eyes, eyeliner bleeding, together mimicking a panda’s eyes.
Ye Ranran was relieved, thankful that she kept the habit of carrying makeup water with her whether at work or at ho, as appearance was always sothing that needed attention.
In the office, it was a bit better than at ho.
If a wealthy socialite were to visit, inappropriate makeup could make them feel slighted.
Therefore, Ye Ranran paid special attention to this, seeing it as basic courtesy to wear makeup when eting people.
After she had cleaned her face, she applied so prir and was about to apply sothing else when the door opened.
Ye Ranran poked her head out and saw Jun Mochan standing at the door before she inexplicably drew back.
The sound of steady footsteps approached, and before Ye Ranran could think of how to face him or find an excuse, Jun Mochan embraced her tightly.
Holding the soft body of the woman in his arms, feeling her in his embrace, his heart finally settled.
But it wasn’t enough, far from enough.
With that thought, his arms tightened even more.
“You’re hurting ,” Ye Ranran tried to push him away slightly.
She might not mind, but the child in her belly did.
Jun Mochan indeed loosened his grip a bit, and just as Ye Ranran was about to speak, he lifted her chin, and a hot, wet kiss landed on her.
The kiss was both tender and fierce.
Jun Mochan seed to want to devour her entirely, crushing her to his very bones.
Not until Ye Ranran felt suffocated did he let her go.
“Do you know what you did wrong?” Jun Mochan asked.
Ye Ranran had anticipated sweet nothings and tender care, yet he started with that question.
She wasn’t happy, “What did I do wrong?”
Jun Mochan held her chin with one hand, the pad of his other hand gently rubbing her face, “You know your mistake yet you don’t change.
How should I punish you?”
“What are you trying to do?
You know, I’m carrying your baby now,” Jun Mochan had always been gentle with her, never opposing what she wanted to do.
Indeed, she took the lead in many things.
Including this, she didn’t feel she was wrong.
Jun Mochan’s hand slid down her cheek to her back, finally resting on her buttocks.
With a “smack,” he lifted his hand and delivered a asured slap, “Do you know how dangerous today was?
You didn’t even inform , do you know how worried I was?”
With each sentence, Jun Mochan slapped her again.
Ye Ranran felt extrely wronged, tears hanging on her eyelashes, “Are you bullying ?”
“Am I bullying you?
You ungrateful thing,” Jun Mochan slapped her again, “Tell , do you admit your mistake?”
Ye Ranran wanted to be defiant, but seeing his deanor, she knew he wouldn’t let her off if she didn’t admit her fault.
“I know,” she lowered her head, whispering softly.
“That’s it?” Jun Mochan lifted her chin, making her face him, “Is there anything else you want to tell ?”
“I won’t do it again,” Ye Ranran added.
“Promise and keep your promise, or else you are not going anywhere before the child is born,” Jun Mochan’s tone was stern, leaving no room for negotiation.
“No way,” Ye Ranran retorted without hesitation.
Jun Mochan’s expression was like a fine painting, his presence chilling, fixing her with his gaze.
Ye Ranran felt so uncomfortable under his stare she wished she could crawl into a hole.
