1027: Chapter 1051: Release the Person 1027: Chapter 1051: Release the Person That day, she was observing enemy movents in an abandoned building as usual, when she unexpectedly got spotted by enemy forces.

Fighter jets were scrambled instantly, giving her no chance to escape.

Just when she thought she was going to die, Lu Fan appeared out of nowhere.

He took her and fled.

She was safe, but he ended up trapped under the rubble.

It took a while to dig him out, and he was in a coma for three days before he woke up.

He liked her; she had always known that.

“So you two just got together like that?” Huo Bocheng’s father was even more furious because of the betrayal.

“Yes.” He saved her and was hopelessly devoted to her.

And him?

He ignored her, gave no thought to her.

With him, she saw no future, so she got together with Lu Fan.

“I had been planning to co back to break up with you, but I didn’t expect that he…”

Xia Qing paused, then continued with a hoarse voice, “He left, and not long after he returned, I discovered I was pregnant.

I calculated the ti, and I guess it’s not yours.”

All her plans were disrupted.

Thinking of the child, she started to sche, and he never suspected a thing.

She managed to deceive everyone just like that.

In fact, after so many years, as the inford ones had passed away, she had let go, feeling that this secret could remain hidden for a lifeti.

“If I hadn’t found out, were you planning to never tell ?” Huo Bocheng’s father was a bit hysteric.

She had played him for a fool for so long.

Anyone would be intolerable of that.

“Yes.” Xia Qing answered resolutely.

Huo Bocheng’s father’s grip tightened, and Xia Yi’s face started to turn pale.

“I’ve already answered what you wanted to know; please let him go now,” Xia Qing said with tearful eyes, as Xia Yi looked like he was about to pass out at any second.

In normal tis, such a sight might have moved Huo Bocheng’s father to pity, even to the extent of plucking the moon from the sky for her if she desired it.

Knowing her true nature now, he only felt disgusted.

“Mom, say sothing.” Ye Ranran nudged Huo Bocheng’s mother with her arm.

Huo Bocheng’s mother’s eyes were filled with impatience.

She wished these two would just vanish from her sight.

“Mom, for the sake of that list, please just bear with it,” Ye Ranran whispered, trying to persuade her.

Alright then, Huo Bocheng’s mother suppressed her discomfort and said, “Huo Bocheng, let him go.”

Huo Bocheng’s father didn’t speak, just turned to look at his wife.

His deep gaze seed like he was trying to see into her heart.

It was a gaze sharper than a scalpel, as if to dissect her heart and study it ticulously.

He had never looked at her with such eyes before, and Huo Bocheng’s mother felt extrely uneasy, like sitting on pins and needles.

“If you don’t let him go, I will never forgive you.” Huo Bocheng’s mother couldn’t stand being looked at like this any longer and braced herself to say it.

Huo Bocheng’s father still didn’t speak, but his hands slowly loosened.

Xia Yi, now free, collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.

“Quick, drive over there,” urged Xia Qing.

When they were half a ter away from Huo Bocheng’s father’s boat, Xia Qing jumped over.

She staggered towards Xia Yi and hugged him tightly.

Fearing the situation might escalate further, Ye Ranran followed suit.

Xia Yi cried in Xia Qing’s arms, and Xia Qing cried too.

Ye Ranran couldn’t bear it any longer.

She signaled agents three and four to step forward and separate the two.

“What are you doing?” Xia Qing asked, agitated.

Ye Ranran glanced at Huo Bocheng’s father and mother.

They only had eyes for each other, completely oblivious to those around them.

Ye Ranran breathed a sigh of relief.

She said to Xia Qing, “It’s okay now, let’s leave.”
