She told Jun Mochan everything that happened in the afternoon.
“Did I miss anything?” Ye Ranran was very worried.
“Fool, you should have soone keep an eye on Xia Qing,” Jun Mochan imdiately pointed out the issue.
Ye Ranran suddenly realized, “Right, that’s it, but who should I send?”
She didn’t have anyone available to send.
“I’ll assign soone for you.”
Soon, that person was in place.
“What do you think Dad will do?” Ye Ranran fiddled with her hair.
“He will definitely take Xia Yi for a DNA test tomorrow,” Jun Mochan said confidently.
“Husband, do you want to do sothing?” Ye Ranran asked very cautiously.
“Does Ranran really hate him that much?” Jun Mochan was surprised.
He thought she was reluctant, considering Xia Yi was so young.
“What do you think, should we interfere a bit, just to make Dad give up on that idea and not let Xia Yi co back?” Didn’t he hope for that too?
“Let handle this; you don’t do anything,” Jun Mochan’s voice was gentle, as if discussing what to eat today.
“Okay,” Ye Ranran didn’t ask further.
After resolving the issue, she went to sleep peacefully.
The next day, she went to visit One, whom she was supposed to see yesterday, but was delayed by other matters.
One was making breakfast, cracking eggs with one hand and flipping them with the other, as his other shoulder was wrapped in a bandage and not very mobile.
Ye Ranran stood by the door, watching with keen interest.
Perhaps her gaze was too intense, One looked up, saw Ye Ranran, and dropped the spatula to the floor.
“Why so surprised?” Was she a ferocious beast?
Why did he look so shocked at the sight of her?
“Hu..husband, why are you here?” One stamred, hardly finding his voice.
“Why?
Can’t I co to see you?” Ye Ranran smiled slyly.
“No, no, I’m very happy you’re here,” One was sowhat flustered with appreciation.
Seeing him in a pink apron, Ye Ranran found it sowhat amusing, “Who bought this?”
“Don’t know, probably ca free with sothing.” There were no aprons here to begin with; he had looked everywhere and hadn’t found another, so he was temporarily using this one.
Ye Ranran was sowhat disdainful.
“Looking at you, you seem all right?” Ye Ranran circled him and even patted him on the shoulder.
Her hand landed exactly on his wounded shoulder.
Cold sweat imdiately broke out on One’s forehead, yet he grinned at her, “No worries, haven’t you seen hopping around?”
She noticed his reaction, and just as she was about to ask, she realized where her hand was placed.
“Ah, I’m sorry, does it hurt a lot?” She felt very embarrassed.
She was supposed to be here to comfort him, so why did it end up looking like an assault?
“It’s not very painful, don’t worry,” One reassured her with a smile.
Ye Ranran initially wanted to make breakfast for him, but recalling what Jun Mochan had said, she swallowed her words.
Never mind, she decided not to “assault” him anymore.
After visiting One, Ye Ranran went to the military base.
She cleared her schedule for today just to watch Jun Mochan’s practice.
She hadn’t seen him in uniform before and wanted to see it.
Upon arrival, Ye Ranran showed her pass, but the guard refused to let her in.
“You look unfamiliar.
We don’t have such a beautiful female soldier in our troops, who knows what you plan to do here?” The soldier reasoned authoritatively.
