Chapter 98: Qi Lei’s Faith and God
Qi Lei was lying on the bed.
This was Mu Qing’s hospital, and Qi Lei was Xing Jiuan’s younger brother. Of course, he would give him the best.

When Xing Jiuan ca over, one of the underlings at the side moved a chair for her to sit down.

“Why were you injured?” Her voice was cold and serious.
Qi Lei knew that it was because she was worried about him.
Xing Jiuan had always been very good to him.
He wanted to say sothing to tell Xing Jiuan not to worry, but one of her underlings spoke anxiously.

Qi Lei was delighted. He was about to say sothing when Xing Jiuan spoke again.
“Qi Lei, rember, I said you did well this ti not because I want you to disregard your own safety again when you try to do good in the future.
“Every person’s life is important, but you’re more important to than them.”
The underlings did not understand this emotional scene as they kept talking. They had advised Qi Lei before, but he was disobedient.
Qi Lei pretended not to hear those people. He just looked at Xing Jiuan with a sincere and focused gaze as if he was looking at his own god.
“I understand, Sis.
“Never again.
“I will protect myself.”
Also, he had to protect his sister from now on.
Qi Lei thought to himself.
Xing Jiuan smiled.
“Your wounds might hurt a lot in the next two days. It’s inevitable that the anesthesia will wear off. If you’re in too much pain, rember to speak up about it.”
“I got it, Sis.”
However, he had always been able to endure pain. He was already used to it.
He had suffered many injuries in the past. There had even been tis when his wounds would rot as they went without treatnt.
He was already eighteen years old. He could already endure pain when he was still young, and now, he was already an adult and had such a good sister. How could he still feel pain?
Qi Lei did not know how to act spoiled. He only knew not to let his sister worry.
Xing Jiuan accompanied him for a while. In the end, Qi Lei’s injuries were too severe, so he quickly fell asleep again.
Xing Jiuan told the rest of her underlings to leave and not disturb his sleep.
At this mont, she received a call.
It was from Lin Feng. He had arrived.
Xing Jiuan inford Mu Qing and the two of them went downstairs together.
“Why did you guys co down? I was just about to go up and find you all.”
