Chapter 170: He Was Thick-skinned and Confident
Xing Jiuan thought of an unlikely possibility. She hurriedly walked to the window and looked downstairs, but she couldn’t see anything.

“Jiuan, I’ll wait for you downstairs.” Lu Zhichen’s voice was very gentle and carried a hint of a smile.
Xing Jiuan did not know what was wrong with her at that ti. She changed her clothes and shoes before running downstairs.

He called out, “Jiuan, over here.”
Xing Jiuan looked over. Lu Zhichen waved at her.
Xing Jiuan walked over quickly.

“I wanted to see you.” Lu Zhichen lowered his head slightly and looked at Xing Jiuan, his voice smiling.
“Also, I was scolded by a big dog. Jiuan, you have to comfort .” Lu Zhichen seed to not know what shalessness was as his skin kept growing thicker.
He was thick-skinned and confident.
He was not embarrassed at all.
Xing Jiuan did not care about this. “Did you bring it here?” Her voice had a trace of excitent that she did not detect herself.
“Jiuan, do you only care about it and not ?” Lu Zhichen felt aggrieved.
Of course, he did not realize that Xing Jiuan was trying to win him back his dignity.
“Is it here?”
Lu Zhichen could not say anything when he t Xing Jiuan’s eyes.
He opened the car and waved his hand. A tall and impressive dog jumped out.
It was very obedient. When it saw Xing Jiuan, it did not bark. Instead, it looked at Xing Jiuan curiously and sniffed her scent.
For so reason, Warlord seed to like Xing Jiuan very much. It wagged its tail at her, its eyes filled with pure fondness.
“Warlord seems to like you a lot.” Lu Zhichen chuckled in surprise when he saw this.
“Warlord is…” Xing Jiuan opened her mouth but she did not know what to say.
“Warlord is a retired police dog. I happened to have gone over and adopted it,” Lu Zhichen explained with a smile.
However, he imdiately added two more lines.
“It’s not as obedient as it is now. It is even fierce to at tis.”
As if he was worried that Warlord would snatch away Xing Jiuan’s attention, he did not look at the obedient Warlord at all and lied to Xing Jiuan with his eyes wide open.
Warlord seed to have heard it as well. It barked in dissatisfaction and moved closer to Xing Jiuan. It rubbed its head against Xing Jiuan’s hand as if it was feeling aggrieved.
“You’re clearly very obedient,” Xing Jiuan said.
“Woof…” Warlord agreed.
Lu Zhichen lost miserably.
“Jiuan, didn’t you want to comfort ?” He pretended to sigh sadly.
Xing Jiuan squatted down and touched Warlord’s head, not looking at Lu Zhichen. “When did I say that?”
She clearly did not agree!
Lu Zhichen was speechless.
He was too careless.
But it was okay.
He had always been exceptionally thick-skinned when facing Xing Jiuan.
“You said you would treat to a al.”
He’d said this confidently. After all, Xing Jiuan had originally agreed.
Xing Jiuan thought for a mont. “Tell when.”
“How about tomorrow?” Lu Zhichen seed to be waiting for Xing Jiuan’s words as he had answered quickly.
Xing Jiuan agreed.
Lu Zhichen was beside Xing Jiuan. Both of them were squatting and looking at Warlord.
“Jiuan, do you like Warlord a lot?” Lu Zhichen asked.
Xing Jiuan’s hand paused. “Yes.”
“If you want to see it in the future, tell . We’ll bring it out to play, okay?”
Xing Jiuan originally wanted to reject him, but she looked at Warlord and agreed in the end.
