Chapter 128: Antique Village

The image of Lu Zhichen, who was acting weak and seeking comfort, was a huge disillusionnt for Xing Jiuan. However, Xing Jiuan had already seen it so many tis that she was no longer as uncomfortable as before.

“Talking to soone you like?” Ji Shu suddenly whispered in her ear, not letting anyone else hear.

Xing Jiuan could no longer be bothered to reply to Lu Zhichen. She looked at Ji Shu in surprise and quickly replied, “How is that possible?”

Ji Shu smiled at her. “You’re smiling very happily.”

“I’m not. I didn’t.” The retort was instant.

However, there was a tinge of guilt in her tone that she did not notice.

She didn’t like Lu Zhichen!

Ji Shu agreed. “Alright, alright. You don’t like them.”

It was as if she was coaxing a little kid. It was indulgent and sowhat biased, but only she knew if she truly believed Xing Jiuan or not.

Xing Jiuan lowered her head again and continued reading Lu Zhichen’s ssage.

[Lu Zhichen: 21st, comfort .]

[Lu Zhichen: Work is really tiring.]

[Lu Zhichen: I don’t want to work.]

[Lu Zhichen: I want to look for you.]

[Lu Zhichen: I want to accompany you, 21st.]

Xing Jiuan felt that Lu Zhichen was going more and more overboard. How was she supposed to respond to him after he had said such words?

However, it was surprisingly not annoying.

She typed slowly.

[21st: Rest if you’re tired.]

[21st: I’m eating right now.]

Lu Zhichen was very understanding.

[Lu Zhichen: Then hurry up and eat. Eat more, and don’t be too picky. I’ll see you tonight.]

After turning off her phone, Xing Jiuan realized that Lin Feng was looking at her with resentnt.

“Senior Brother?”

“Which little vixen stole your soul? Tell . I’ll get it back.” He sounded indignant.

Finally, Little Junior Sister had stopped talking to Ji Shu, but he didn’t expect her to next be playing with her phone. It looked like she was chatting with soone.

Lin Feng didn’t think too much about it. He couldn’t possibly think of Lu Zhichen.

Xing Jiuan paused for a mont before asking, “They didn’t, Senior Brother. Is anything the matter?”

“Can’t I talk to you if there’s nothing?

“You really don’t love anymore.

“I’m so sad.”

Lin Feng’s expression was filled with bitterness and pain.

“Senior Brother, stop fooling around.” Xing Jiuan chuckled helplessly.

“I’m really sad!” Lin Feng kept saying.

“Okay.” Xing Jiuan was especially cold.

He could no longer pretend as well.

After dinner, the director told them that they were about to go to a place to do a mission. He told them to prepare as it would take about three hours.

Xing Jiuan and Lin Feng were the fastest. The two of them only took a bottle of water and their cell phones.

The others were ready to leave after taking so ti to pack up.

They were going to a small village on the outskirts of the capital.

The village was ancient and had retained so of the traditional customs. The houses were also leaning toward ancient tis. Entering it was like entering an ancient alley.

They got out of the car and walked in.

There were not many people in this small village. Most of them were old people and children. The young people were all out working.

They walked in and instantly felt much calr.

There were quite a lot of people on the streets. There were children who were laughing and playing and elderly who were sitting together and chatting. Compared to the tense and busy life outside, this place seed to be isolated. It was carefree and made people feel envious.

“If only I could retire here in the future.” Zhou Yu could not help but sigh.

“I know, right!” Zhou Xi could not help but say. She looked at the scenery and had spoken enviously.

Xing Jiuan and Lin Feng were not envious.

Their sect was very nice too.
