Mia Ginger had been running around all day, for sure she was tired, feeling uncomfortable in a daze.

Electric currents ran through her entire body, she still felt empty.

Instinctively, she curled up to find Koa Jackson, anyway in her dreams, her actions were very bold, always giving herself away.

Eventually, she woke up, still startled by her own screams.

As soon as she woke up, she was t with Koa Jackson’s tense expression.

"Little One." Koa Jackson gritted his teeth, calling her, the usually cold fingers now ward, rubbing her vigorously.

Mia Ginger only felt dizzy.

Murmuring weakly in response, her head shaking like a rattle drum, eventually her mind went blank.

Curled up in his arms shaking for quite a while, barely calming down.

"Better?" Koa Jackson asked softly.

Mia Ginger: "..."

Clenched her fist and hit his chest once, complaining, "Why take advantage of while I’m asleep?"

"Couldn’t bear to wake you."

"You still woke up!"

"Yeah." Koa Jackson held her, and laughed quietly under the covers.

"I find you increasingly annoying," Mia Ginger muttered in a low voice, but her lips couldn’t help but form a smile.

"Do you like it?" Koa Jackson, unusually interested, engaged in sweet talk.

"Huh." Mia Ginger frowned, thinking randomly, suddenly looked up and said, "What if I study abroad? I’m going for two whole years, won’t you feel sad?"

"Life is long."

"These things are only done when young."

"Who says?" Koa Jackson squinted slightly, looking at her amused.

——

The next morning.

At eight forty, the two arrived at the hospital.

Koa Jackson took Mia Ginger for an ankle X-ray, since it wasn’t too serious, they just got so dicine from the pharmacy.

As they were about to leave the outpatient building, they ran into Lilian Jackson coming into the hospital.

Lilian Jackson paused for a second, stepped forward with concern, "What happened to your foot?"

"Just twisted it, ca to check with an X-ray."

"Is it serious?"

"No big deal."

Lilian Jackson nodded slightly, thought for a mont, and softly smiled, "I was thinking of finding you one day, last ti you ntioned it wasn’t accurate, tell a doctor to check, now just happened to et, do you want to ask now?"

"Right now?" Mia Ginger paused, turned to look at Koa Jackson.

Before Koa Jackson could speak, Lilian Jackson said, "No better ti than now, since you’re here, it’s still early, asking won’t take much ti, I’m here for paperwork, I’ll go up with you."

"Oh." Mia Ginger nodded, and said to Koa Jackson, "Why don’t you head back to the office first?"

These kinds of private matters for girls, having Koa Jackson accompany her felt a bit odd, she had agreed with Lilian beforehand.

Since they t now, a quick check wouldn’t take long.

"Dr. Jackson."

A male voice suddenly reached the group next to them.

A male doctor wearing glasses breathed a sigh of relief, smiled, "Just about to find you, my niece, the one who had brain tumor surgery the day before yesterday, seems just woke up for a mont, need to trouble you to check."

Koa Jackson nodded, "Alright, I’ll head over now."

As he finished speaking, he looked up and said to Lilian Jackson, "Her ankle’s injured, hold her steady."

"Don’t worry, I got it." Lilian Jackson smiled, supporting Mia Ginger’s arm, "We’ll take the elevator to the second floor."

"Okay." Mia Ginger replied with a smile.

Lilian Jackson supported her, walking towards the escalator.

As the two went up, Lilian turned her head, her gaze landing sowhere, pausing slightly.

Mia Ginger wore a thin blouse, the first button unfastened,

Lilian Jackson was a bit distracted.
