"Mm, I know." Sinai pondered for a mont, "Do you know her?"

"Kind of." Charlotte said, "Our school eliminates quite a few students every year. As long as the annual assessnt doesn’t et the standard, they’ll be demoted. If they fall to D level, they’ll be automatically dismissed."

"She didn’t even pass the entrance assessnt, and she’s always bragging about having attended Norton University."

Charlotte snorted.

If Annie had really gotten into Norton University, with her level, she would have had any mories of Norton University erased and been sent back to her country long ago.

Only then did Sinai realize that a certain person’s na was truly everywhere to her.

She paused for a mont, then looked away: "When do your principal’s classes start?"

"It’s only December now." Charlotte counted on her fingers, "The second sester is in March, and he only teaches one class a week."

Sinai remained silent for an instant.

Three more months to go.

If he doesn’t leave, can’t she at least avoid him?

At worst, she could stay in the office for three months without leaving.

Charlotte was curious: "Teacher, do you want to audit a class? I think you could apply for a professor position at our school."

"No." Sinai paused, the image of those dark green eyes flashed through her mind, and her expression turned instantly emotionless, "I don’t want to work for bloodsucking capitalists."

Charlotte: "???"

Their principal, a bloodsucking capitalist?

As the two were chatting, suddenly, the sound of urgent footsteps arose.

In a matter of seconds, mbers of the Oversight Team surrounded Sinai’s office.

Sinai looked up, her eyes narrowing.

Annie, disheveled and still in the sa clothes, was trembling.

"She’s carrying a gun!" Annie pointed at Sinai, "She doesn’t even have a gun permit! And she’s not part of the Oversight Team! I suspect she’s an undercover sent by another force to assassinate the professors!"

As she spoke, her teeth were chattering.

Sinai’s gun-handling skills were too deft.

If she hadn’t been specially trained, how could she have those techniques?

The leader of the Oversight Team stepped forward, signaling a team mber to take the silver gun from the desk: "May we inspect it?"

Although phrased politely, it was clearly a firm request.

Sinai nodded: "Go ahead."

Charlotte was already on edge.

She studied chanics and could also distinguish between a real gun and a fake.

Just by looking at the quality, the silver gun couldn’t possibly be fake.

Annie gritted her teeth, staring at Sinai with a fierce look, as if to say—"You’re finished."

Sinai yawned, leisurely took out a coffee canister, and started brewing coffee.

Several mbers of the Oversight Team admired her composure.

Ten minutes later, the Oversight Team finished their inspection and submitted the results.

"Miss Annie, this is a simulation gun, it has no lethal power." The Oversight Team leader frowned, looking at Annie with a bit of frost in his eyes, "Our ti is precious, please don’t report false information due to personal grievances."

Charlotte was montarily stunned.

A fake gun?

"But it was a real gun!" Annie was sowhat frantic, "It was a real gun, Captain, you have to believe !"

Sinai blinked, sipped her coffee, and smiled: "Take care, stay safe on the road."

"Captain, look, she’s threatening !" Annie was more frantic, "You have to protect , you must protect !"

"Ma’am, your ntal state doesn’t seem well." The Oversight Team leader’s brows furrowed tighter, "If it’s pressure from experints, I suggest visiting the counseling office."

Finally, Annie completely broke down: "I told you, she wants to kill , why won’t you believe ?!"

The Oversight Team leader shook his head: "Miss Sinai, my apologies for the disturbance."

He motioned two team mbers to escort Annie out and closed the door.

Charlotte sighed with relief. After the Inspection Team left, she turned: "Teacher, was that really a toy gun?"

"It’s playable, but generally, I use it for self-defense." Sinai raised her hand again and casually aid at an abandoned tal box.

The trigger was pulled, and a laser shot out.

The tal box lted instantly.

In less than a second, not even ashes were left.

Charlotte: "..."

What the hell?

This is supposed to have zero lethal power?

How did the Oversight Team inspect it?

"Xiaxia, help deliver this letter to Team A." Sinai said, "Inside are two tickets to the technology exhibition, the date is December 29th, ask Mr. Alfonso if he has ti to go."

Hearing this, Charlotte was excited: "Okay, I’ll go right now, is there any other ssage you want to send?"
