[Ding! Would you like to know why you beca The Fourth Primogenitor and recover your lost mories?]

[If you wish to obtain this knowledge, join the Adventurer Guild that connects the multiverse.]

[Do you wish to join the Adventurers Guild?]

[Y/N]

"..." —After bathing and having lunch with Nagisa, Kojou returned to his room, staring seriously at the floating screen.

"If I recover my mories, I might learn why my familiar is inside Nagisa," Kojou muttered. Ever since absorbing Asagi's blood, his connection to his familiar had grown stronger, and upon returning ho, he'd sensed its presence within Nagisa.

He could clearly feel how his familiar was devouring Nagisa's life force. Even if he extracted it now, she'd only have a few years left to live.

"Damn it..." Kojou gritted his teeth in frustration and pressed [Y], his earlier excitent about the multiverse gone after realizing Nagisa's condition.

[Ding! Congratulations on joining the Adventurer Guild that connects the multiverse.]

[Please choose your adventurer na:]

"Seems I can use a pseudonym..." Kojou hesitated, unwilling to use his real na. After a mont's thought, he decided on an alias.

[Ding! Registered under the na: Lucifer.]

[Ding! The adventurer will receive a starter pack granted to all new guild mbers. Additionally, the guild will assist in recovering your lost mories, as promised prior to joining.]

"Grrgh...!" —As the guild's notification flashed, Kojou felt as though his skull was splitting. He bit into a pillow to muffle his screams so Nagisa wouldn't hear, while fragnted mories surged into his mind unbidden.

[The adventurer has received the following from the starter pack: Guild Card, Language, Storage Ring.]

[For more guild details, please read the guide in the screen's lower-left corner.]

After this barrage of notifications—unseen by Kojou—the guild stopped sending ssages.

"..." Clenching the pillow between his teeth, Kojou rembered everything: his first eting with Avrora four years ago, the events of the Blazing Banquet three months prior, his battle alongside Avrora against The Root, freeing Nagisa, and becoming The Fourth Primogenitor.

"I see... It all happened because of that damned father." Kojou's eyes turned crimson, betraying his fury toward Gajou. "As for Nagisa... There's nothing in my mories explaining why my familiar is inside her."

Though his restored mories held no clues about Nagisa's condition, Kojou wasn't stupid. He had a guess—one likely close to the truth.

"Now, let's see what this guild is about," he muttered, fiddling with the floating screen to distract himself. If he kept dwelling on Nagisa's state, he'd lose control and probably kill that bastard father of his.

"Huh..." Kojou exhaled as he tapped [Retrieve], feeling a cooling sensation in his mind. A card resembling an ID appeared in his hand, along with a simple black ring. "So this is the Guild Card."

He toyed with the card, made of an unknown material, before examining it. Though written in a foreign script, he could understand it—likely thanks to the [Language] ability he'd just acquired.

"No stats for strength or endurance...?" Kojou muttered, slightly disappointed. He'd expected nurical attributes like in gas, but the guild apparently didn't operate that way.

"As for this ring... It's already bound to . No one else can use it without my permission." A small screen appeared when he stared at the ring, and usage instructions flooded his mind. "All I have to do is imagine an object vanishing, and it's stored inside. The Guild Card really disappeared."

"..." Kojou could only stare in awe at the unassuming ring. He hadn't expected such a simple item to have such incredible functions—let alone infinite storage, tiless stasis, and the ability to store living beings.

"Now, let's check the new adventurer guide." He tapped the icon on the screen's left side, bracing as the guild's foundational knowledge was transmitted directly into his mind.

"..." Kojou closed his eyes, absorbing the information. This bizarre system would change his life even more than his power as The Fourth Primogenitor.
