Maya skillfully started a fire and then added more wood. The fire burned brighter and brighter.

[Dinner is on : Wow, it’s really a fire! Maya actually started a fire!]

[ee: If I rember correctly, Maya hasn’t asked the production team for help or looked for cards, has she?]

[Daily Motivation: Exactly, she pitched the tent herself, foraged for food herself, and now even started the fire herself!]

[No Moaning: Wow, if Maya makes a grass skirt to wear, I wouldn’t be surprised either...]

[Brave Bull: Guys, Maya is amazing! You can’t learn this just from reading a book, right? Maya must have put in so much effort for this show. I was still thinking she was scatterbrained sitting under the coconut tree earlier, sob sob, my bad vision...]

[Wooden: Thought she was a stubborn bronze, who knew she was actually a champion!]

[MuMu: Wow, professional players should be banned from competing!]

Gradually, Maya’s live stream screen was flooded with the phrase: professional players should be banned from competing.

Jessica looked upset, "You, you really managed to start a fire? How is this possible!"

Starting a fire by rubbing sticks is often only seen in movies. It looks simple, but it’s not easy if you’re not familiar with it.

Jessica and her group didn’t aim to start a fire themselves from the beginning. They searched the vast land for a long ti, digging mud out of their nails, only then finding the card with a lighter printed on it.

Maya’s cold fingertips were ward by the firelight, dispersing so of her restlessness. But seeing Jessica still lingering around, she grew impatient, "Are you really forcing to ’send’ you away myself?"

Her voice was not loud, but Jessica was so scared she took a step back, clutching the lighter, and eventually left in embarrassnt.

Maya ward herself by the fire for a while, feeling cozy before getting up. After eating a coconut and two wild bananas, she decided to sleep.

This lousy place has no internet or food, might as well go to sleep early.

She prepared plenty of food today to last until tomorrow. She didn’t want to go out searching again. Tomorrow, breakfast would be distributed based on popularity, and aside from foraging, she’s been under the coconut tree pretending, so it’s obvious she’s not destined for a delicious feast.

It’s okay, it’s just these two days. When she goes back, she’ll still be feasting like a queen.

The night fire is important, partly to ward off animals, and also because the night temperature here is extrely low. With the production team around, animals probably won’t appear, but the cold still needs attention. Maya didn’t want to catch a cold.

Maya lay in her makeshift tent, closed her eyes, but all she could picture in her mind were her snacks.

If the snacks were destroyed, she would give up, but she knows her snacks are sowhere on this island. She can only think about them, can’t touch or eat them.

Maya got up and went to the production team again with a clear and direct purpose: "Can you really not return my suitcase?"

The director firmly refused her, "I’m really sorry, no."

Seeing her goal couldn’t be achieved, Maya didn’t want to waste her precious sleep ti here, turned around, and left.

The director thought this would be a negotiation lasting half an hour, not expecting Maya to leave so easily.

However, as Maya turned away, the director clearly saw a stubborn piece of dry grass stuck in her smooth, dark hair.

The production team has a dedicated tent, and the five-mber group, after a series of analyses and digging, finally obtained the prop tent with hints from the production team.

Only Maya truly ca to the island for survival, without assistance or using the "cards" provided by the production team.

In a way, Maya’s independence is impressive. She focuses on surviving, indifferent to the production’s filming, both parties not interfering with each other.

But who would have thought, after all sorts of quirky maneuvers, Maya attracted a large fan base. Curiosity plays a part, but undeniably, Maya’s live stream has millions focusing on her idle monts.

Maya is like a dark horse suddenly erging.

Over on Jessica’s side, they’re still arguing over the tent distribution. They painstakingly acquired two tents. The best distribution would be separating by gender, but Justin refused, insisting crowding three n in one tent is too cramped.

Jessica couldn’t hold back her temper, pointed at Justin, swearing, "What kind of man are you, causing trouble! You don’t want to squeeze in with others, do you want a tent to yourself? How selfish!"

Justin looked annoyed, pushed Jessica, "Who are you calling selfish?! Who just ate a whole coconut alone? Can’t I complain a bit? These tents aren’t big, can’t you see three people squeezed in?!"

Jessica had never been so aggrieved, she imdiately pushed back.

Miles stood nearby, firelight illuminating half of his delicate face. He watched indifferently, recalling Claire’s words. Just as Claire said, under the live stream cara, the dirt beneath the glamour is exposed.

Seeing Justin ready to push again, Jamie quickly stopped him, "Jin, just one night, make do, don’t argue. Let’s prepare to rest; look, Maya has already gone to sleep."

Jessica instinctively looked over, warm firelight contrasting the tent in the distance, giving a sense of tranquility.

How did Maya sleep so fast? Doesn’t she know that being active and talking more under the cara attracts viewers?

Aside from collecting so wood and coconuts, where else did she move?

Justin knew if he continued arguing, it would be too much, responded reluctantly, "Jamie, I get it, I was just complaining, didn’t expect Jessica to take it seriously and argue!"

Nina held Jessica back; though she didn’t like Jessica, she had to admit Justin was indeed lacking in courtesy.

The next morning, the sunlight slanted down from the sky, dispelling the last darkness over the land.

Except for Miles, the five-mber group all got up because they rembered food would be allocated based on popularity this morning.
