"Thank you."

Maya nodded, then picked up a corner of her skirt and walked forward.

"Wait, Maya!"

Hearing the host’s voice, Maya had to stop and squint slightly, seemingly puzzled.

"Maya, you haven’t taken photos yet."

Maya realized, rembering there was supposed to be a photo session; red carpet photos were always a trending topic.

She slightly raised her head and casually posed, the diamond necklace at her collarbone sparkling.

"Can I leave now?"

The host was slightly taken aback. It was well known that walking the red carpet was not only a testant to one’s abilities but also an opportunity to gain followers through dia exposure, so many celebrities would linger on the red carpet, striving to get more attention.

Being so eager to leave... was truly rare.

"Wait a mont, Maya, we have a few questions we’d like to ask you."

"As everyone knows, your performance in ’Wandering Beyond the Horizon’ was remarkable, with many praising your excellent acting skills that truly amazed the audience! Do you have confidence for the awards this ti?"

Maya lowered her eyes and listened.

Of course, she wasn’t confident. In the storyline, Kiki Monroe got the "Luna" role and successfully made a splash, winning the "Best Supporting Actress of the Year" award.

Now, the plot had deviated, and she accidentally got the "Luna" role. However, Kiki Monroe’s protagonist aura was still at work, probably allowing her to win a Best Actress award and steal the spotlight at the ceremony.

"Winning the award is hard to say."

The host continued, "So, you’re saying you don’t have much confidence in yourself, right?"

Maya nodded slightly; how could she possibly have confidence?

The host smiled, "Maya, you’re really too modest, but I don’t think so. Your chances of winning are pretty good! I wish you success in winning in advance!"

"Thanks for your kind words." Maya replied nonchalantly.

Then, the host asked a few more questions, all of which Maya answered in the most concise way possible.

"Alright, next, please enter the venue, Maya, and thank you for your answers."

Maya tapped her leg and quickly walked inside.

Soone behind her shouted loudly:

"Maya, you’re the best!!"

"Ahhh Maya, I love you! I love you, darling!!"

"Maya, you must win the award! You’re the best, we’ll always support you!!!"

...

Maya paused slightly, then continued to walk forward.

Guided by the staff, she found a seat and sat down, a place close to the award stage, with a wide view.

This spot was not only close to the stage but also surrounded by nurous caras. It was too conspicuous, and any small movents were inconvenient.

Maya frowned slightly and said to a nearby staff mber, "I have a bit of social anxiety and don’t like sitting in such a conspicuous spot. Can I change seats?"

"You... have social anxiety?" The staff mber swallowed.

Maya was too famous, and to hear soone as bold and daring as her claiming to have social anxiety was unexpected.

She indeed had social anxiety...

Maya nodded hurriedly, "Yeah, I don’t like interviews because there are too many caras, and I get sweaty and uncomfortable talking to strangers."

She slightly lowered her head at this ti, making it impossible for the staff to see her expression.

"If that’s the case, Maya, where would you like to sit?"

Maya lifted her head, her eyes scanning, then stopping at a middle-back position: "That spot looks nice, I quite like it."

She said this and walked over.

The large venue was bustling, already crowded with many artists, almost filling the spacious and bright hall. As Maya passed through the middle corridor, she even recognized many familiar faces.

"Hey, Senior Maya!"

Maya was startled and looked towards the source of the voice.

Julian Caldwell’s eyes sparkled as he waved, "Senior Maya, long ti no see, want to sit next to ?"

His gaze suddenly paused because he was sitting in a corner spot, and next to him was Miles Wallace.

Then Miles Wallace and Julian t eyes, his exquisite face as cold as ever, with sowhat of a stern look.

Julian awkwardly looked away and, upon seeing a vacant spot ahead, his eyes brightened, "Goddess, shall I accompany you to sit in the front?"

Maya shook her head, declining, "Thank you, but I prefer the back."

Julian’s spot was still too far forward, not hidden at all.

Julian showed obvious disappointnt upon hearing this. Just as he was about to speak again, he suddenly felt a light tap on his shoulder.

"Miles, what’s up?"

Miles did not speak, pointing towards the cara location.

Julian instantly understood. Miles ant to make him mindful of the caras. This was a live broadcast, and every move would be exposed to the viewers, so he indeed needed to be more restrained.

It wouldn’t be good to cause any trouble for the goddess.

Julian reluctantly withdrew his gaze.

Miles turned his head, glanced at Maya, then quickly looked away, uncertain of his expression.

Maya found her preferred spot. After sitting down, she tapped her legs again.

If the situation allowed, Maya might even have considered giving herself a foot massage. These high heels were just too uncomfortable and painful to walk in.

A delighted voice ca from beside her, "Sister Maya!"

That voice was incredibly familiar.

Maya turned her head: "Nina Vance?"

This sweet and good-natured girl had left quite an impression on her.

Nina chuckled, her sweet features showing a touch of naïve silliness as she hugged Maya’s arm.

"I didn’t expect Sister Maya to rember , especially since it’s been a long ti since the first episode of ’Great Survival Challenge’. I didn’t expect I left such a big impression on you."

Maya laughed lightly.

Perhaps Nina had a highly contagious smile, and seeing her smile, Maya’s mouth turned upward involuntarily.

Nina paused slightly, then burst into an even more radiant smile, "I rarely see Sister Maya smile, perhaps it’s the first ti I’ve seen your genuine smile..."

She rubbed Maya’s arm, "You look really pretty when you smile."

Maya looked into her dark eyes, "Thank you."

"What’s there to thank? I’m only speaking the truth! Sister Maya, are you sitting back here because it’s too noisy up front?"

Maya paused, then nodded.

Suddenly, sharp footsteps echoed beside them, carrying a sense of urgency.

"Please make way, I need to get through!"
