I left them alone an hour later.
After the initial awkwardness had faded, after Faye and Reina had retrieved a proper set of clothes from one of the servants, after Reina had explained with surprising honesty exactly what had happened in the dungeon. The two of them were sitting on opposite ends of the bed now, not quite friends, but no longer strangers eyeing each other.
I closed the door behind and leaned against the wall in the hallway, exhaling slowly.
My bed, but now with two won who had, by so miracle, decided not to kill each other.
This was going to be a problem later.
But later wasn’t now.
Right now, I have a novel to reread, a capital to defend, and a dungeon reward I had to review.
Behind the door, I heard the low murmur of voices. Less like arguing and more like talking.
I pushed off the wall and started walking toward my study.
"That went better than I thought," I muttered to myself. "Praise be to Faye, I guess."

I sat in the chair in my study, legs crossed, reviewing the notification listing the dungeon loot I’d received.
And, as expected of an A-Rank dungeon, it was nothing to scoff at. It was impressive, absurdly impressive. Looks like destroying the core had been the right choice after all.
[Dungeon Rewards - The Forgotten Vault (Rank A)]
- 1x Enchanted Longsword (B-Rank) - [Soulbound]
- 3x High-Grade Healing Potion
- 1x Dungeon Core Fragnt (Crafting Material)
- 1x Ring of Minor Regeneration (C-Rank)
Although, if I do have to make one complaint. They were definitely things I could just buy with gold without having to risk my life for it. But, it was satisfying nonetheless.
I still had no grasp of this world’s economy after all. After all the spending I did, I should start being careful before I accidentally bankrupt myself.
[Enchanted Longsword (B-Rank)]
[Allows the user to store the sword inside his soul, useful for subterfuge or general mobility and preparedness]
"Sounds pretty basic, but I’ll have it."
[Ring of Minor Regeneration]
[Allows—]
"Yeah, I’d rather skip that. I think it’s already pretty obvious what it does."
I slipped the ring on imdiately, and it resized itself the mont it touched my finger, settling into a comfortable fit. Useful and convenient. If magical beasts weren’t a thing... this world would probably be thriving by now.
"As for the dungeon core fragnt..."
[Use unknown, please check back later]
"So basically, I don’t have any compatible materials to craft with. Of course."
Good thing I had one more thing to check before I lost all the dopamine from that forced dungeon raid: a skill point.
And I already knew exactly what I was going to pick.
At least it wasn’t gacha this ti.
[Available Skills]
Lust Feedback (Passive) (2/5 Levels): Detects arousal, attraction, and emotional vulnerability, while providing real-ti feedback on how actions influence those states.
Draining Kiss (Active) (1/10 Levels): Minor stamina/mana drain during intimacy
Presence of Vice (Aura) (1/3) Levels): Increases others’ impulsiveness towards the Incubus
My eyes widened the mont I opened my available skills. What had seed like an easy choice—picking [Presence of Vice]—suddenly beca a lot harder the second I saw the level two version of [Lust Sense].
It gave real-ti feedback on my actions!?
That was a stupidly powerful upgrade!
But then again, the combo of [Presence of Vice] and even a normal [Lust Sense] was still ridiculously strong.
"You’ve gotta be kidding ."
I stared at the options for a long mont, my finger tapping against the armrest of the chair.
[Lust Feedback] was tempting. Incredibly tempting. Real-ti feedback on how my actions influenced others’ emotional states? That wasn’t just useful for the harem managent that seed to be creeping into my life. That was useful for everything. Negotiations. Interrogations. Commanding troops. Reading a room full of hostile nobles who wanted my head on a platter.
But [Presence of Vice]...
An aura that increased others’ impulsiveness toward . That ant people acting on desires they’d normally suppress. Reaching for things they’d normally talk themselves out of.
In the right circumstances, that could be devastating.
In the wrong circumstances, it could be a disaster.
"System," I said quietly. "Does presence of vice affect everyone equally, or can I control it?"
[Presence of Vice (Aura) - Currently scales with proximity. Closer targets are more affected. No conscious control over intensity at current level. Range: 5 ters.]
Five ters. That was close. Close enough that I’d only be affecting people who were already in my personal space. Guards standing at attention. Servants handing reports. The won sharing my bed.
"...I’ll take it."
[Skill Learned: Presence of Vice (Aura) Lv.1]
[Effect: Increases impulsiveness toward the Incubus.]
"So, I definitely learned a lesson from this."
I sighed, starting to regret my decision to destroy the dungeon core instead of claiming it. I never realized just how insane an upgraded skill could be.
Hell, I didn’t even know you could level them up with skill points. This was a real eye-opener, and in hindsight, I definitely should’ve asked the system.
"Can’t believe sothing like that never even crossed my mind."
Well, I guess I learned sothing. And I’m definitely going to use it right away.
’System, how do I unlock more skills? Why isn’t Lust Sense showing up at all?’
[New skills can be unlocked based on current unlocked skills]
Okay, that makes sense, but now for another question.
’How do I get more quests?’
[Quests are obtained at random. If you wish to gain more skill points, develop your relationship with the heroines either through intimacy or bond.]
’Open Reina’s questline.’
[Questline Updated]
[Task 2: Develop relationship with Reina]
- Reward: ??? Integration
’Wait... don’t I get a reward for freeing Reina!?’
[No, dungeon rewards and Task 1 rewards had already been synced.]
You’ve got to be kidding . So, were those sword and ring already part of the reward? I guess this system isn’t as generous as I thought.
But then again, I should definitely bla myself.
"I’m definitely not going to let this happen again..."
