Chapter 46: Ch 46: Preparation - Part 1
Theo was not shocked for long, and as soon as he realized what was happening, he tried to grab
back.
But it was too late by that ti because I was too out of his reach.
He tried to turn his anger toward Emma, but she had retreated as well and slamd the door behind her as she went out.
"You need to rest, Theo. You are going into your heat. At this rate, you will hurt Kyle with your reckless behaviour. I will co back with so inhibitors to give to you later and take you to a safe place for your rut."
Ben told Theo before he dragged
outside and slamd the door shut.
With that, any contact I had with Theo was cut off, and the daze that had fallen over
finally lessened.
"What happened? My head hurts..."
I complained as I tried to recall what happened. But my head ached as I tried to put more and more pressure on it.
"You went into a room where an alpha in pre-rut was. What did you think was going to happen? No, don’t answer. It’s not your fault since you did not know. We should have told you about it."
Ben sounded angry at first, but he slowly cald down as he thought more about what happened.
Emma gave the door a worried look before she looked at
and Ben.
"Well, since the situation has turned like this, maybe we should close the café early. We were going to close it down for the championship tomorrow anyway. One day early won’t really hurt."
Emma told us, and I could only nod at her decision.
After all, I had no authority here.
"You are right. Emma, you and Kyle handle the situation here. I will go and have a talk with Theo and give him ds. Hopefully, things will be just fine for now."
Ben told us before he left.
Emma let out a startled sigh she had been holding for a while before she plastered a smile on her face and turned to look at .
"Well, it’s you and
now, Kyle. Let’s get to work and clean up this place. I’m sure the people in here are not going to be happy they are being sent ho."
Emma tried to joke, but her worry was clear. Not that it mattered, because the people quickly decided to take their leave even before we approached them.
I could not tell if it was because they saw us coming or if it was because they could sll the pheromones of an alpha in pre-rut on
and Emma.
Whatever the case was, the café was cleared out in record ti, and I could breathe a sigh of relief.
______
Ben carefully opened the door to the break room and watched as Theo struggled to get himself under control. But the more Theo tried, the more he seed to suffer.
"Your rut seems to be a bad one this ti. Here, this should help. It’s a rut suppressor."
Ben handed the dicine over to Theo, and he looked at it with a suspicious expression before he glared at Ben.
Thankfully, he did not attack Ben and ate the dicine.
’I knew it was a good idea to send Kyle outside. The presence of an oga in here must have excited Theo’s alpha instincts even more last ti.’
Looking at Theo’s calm face, Ben finally felt a little safe. But his instincts were still on edge.
"W-Where’s Kyle? I need Kyle..."
Theo complained as soon as the dicine kicked in and he could think once more. And the first thing he demanded was his oga.
"Kyle is outside with Emma. I don’t think it’s the best idea to have him in here when you are in your rut. You will hurt him for sure. You need to get yourself together if you want to et him."
Ben warned Theo, but it only agitated Theo even more.
"You can’t do that. Kyle is my mate. I need him here. I chose him—"
"But Kyle has not made his choice. If you force him, then you can hurt him badly. So calm down for now and get through your rut first. Then, you can think about Kyle and how to court him."
Ben reminded Theo, and the younger alpha cald down.
Finally, the sedatives were working, and Theo looked sleepy as well.
"Since you are in your rut, I would have suggested getting a professional oga to spend your rut with. But I have a feeling you would kill any oga who cos near you who is not Kyle. So, you will need to suffer through this heat all on your own until you are able to win Kyle over."
Ben reminded Theo, and the alpha imdiately made an angry face at being with another oga who was not Kyle.
"No-! No oga who is not Kyle. I would rather suffer through this ss than betray Kyle like that. He’s the only one for ."
The more Ben looked at Theo, the more he felt sorry for the alpha. After all, there was no guarantee that Kyle would choose Theo.
But Theo, who had imprinted on Kyle, would have no choice but to suffer until he let Kyle go... which did not seem to be an option at the mont.
"Fine, I understand. But you cannot stay here either during your rut. So, how about you go to my villa for a few days and spend your rut there? There is no staff, and I will have it stocked and cleaned for your rut. It’s also secluded enough to not have anyone visit you."
Ben’s offer was tempting, and Theo thought over it for a minute before he nodded.
"Alright, sounds fine. As long as I can be with Kyle afterwards, I don’t care..."
The alpha agreed, and Ben quickly made preparations.
"For now, stay in here and keep drinking your water. I will co and get you when it’s ti for us to leave."
Ben promised before he closed the door behind him.
"Tsk, why does it feel like I am just caging a dangerous creature by doing this? There is sothing just so dangerous about Theo that I cannot tell...."
Ben complained before he walked toward Emma and told her and Kyle what he had planned.
"Are you sure it would be safe for Theo to be alone like that? What if he gets hurt and no one is able to reach him?"
Kyle asked in a worried voice, and Ben understood his complaints well.
But at the sa ti, he also knew what an alpha was capable of.
"Theo will be just fine. He’s not a weak person, so you don’t need to worry about him. Just focus on yourself for now. Have you made all the preparations for the next few days?"
Ben asked, successfully distracting Kyle from the topic of Theo and what was going to happen to him.
"Ah, yes. I know where I need to go and what I need to do, so you don’t have to worry about . I will leave early tomorrow as well for that."
