Chapter 102: Ch 102: A Special Guest- Part 6
The dungeon incident ca to an end and I wanted to make a swift exit. But the world seed to be not getting the hint.
The journalists were the first to surround , wanting to hear each and every single word from my mouth regarding what happened in the dungeon.
My silence gave them no hint that I had no ti for this bullshit and I looked at Lynn to help
out.
Thankfully, Lynn was awake and aware enough of what he needed to do. And he used his powers to separate the dia from my side.
"I am afraid that it is ti for all of us to leave and rest now. Unless, you all want to be charged with obstruction of hunter’s rest and be fined."
Lynn was ruthless and his words caused the dia to flinch.
A few of the brave journalists stepped forward, not believing a word Lynn said. They were aware of his reputation, but then Kesha woke up as well.
And unlike Lynn, her reputation was not clean.
"Tsk, looks like these journalists are hard of hearing. Then, do you want
to take care of them for you?"
She asked as she flexed her wrist and everyone took a step back.
There were so many alphas who ca to interview us, but they all looked afraid of a petite beta.
’In their defense, the beta in question can tear them apart whenever she wants to. So it makes sense that they are keeping their distance.’
Not that it stopped the dia from trying to dig anyway.
"T-This is national news. Everyone needs to know—"
"And we will release a statent regarding this soon enough. You all do not need to worry. Now, please leave before you are in legal trouble. I’m sure that would make for amusing headlines."
Lynn’s words were the final nail in the coffin and the dia people ran away with their tails behind their backs.
Peace returned to my life and I decided to take my leave as well.
"Ace, wait—! I feel like we have more to discuss as well. Can we—"
"Not right now. You know where to find
when you need to talk. I know you will find a way to contact
as well. For now, I will return ho."
I told the alpha hunter and he looked unhappy to see
go back ho. But at the sa ti, he seed to have realized that he wouldn’t be able to stop
either.
"Tsk, just head back already. What are you lingering around for?"

and she sounded truly annoyed with . Her actions and the way she leaned toward Lynn told
that she liked him.
But Lynn seed unaware and uninterested in her. Her lack of scent did not help her case either.
’Poor girl. It would be better for her to get over her crush on Lynn and find soone else who appreciates her. I want to tell her this, but I have a feeling the beta would chew my head off if I tell her this.’
Just because people were free to like whoever they wanted did not an things always worked out the way they wanted as well. And the girl in front of

It was clear that not a lot of people liked Kesha and she seed to know this as well. But she seed to not care.
"I like your attitude, and I hope I get to see you in the future as well. For now, I will take my leave."
I told everyone and as I left, my eyes t Lee Mingo and Rhiner’s. They both seed to be looking at
with an intense look in their eyes and I had a feeling they both knew sothing I did not.
Not that I stopped around to ask them. I simply left the clearing before I t up with Kuro. He gave
a curious look but I just shook my head to not be asked anything.
"Let’s go. We should head ho now."
I told Kuro and he settled in my arms in his cat form. I took us back ho quickly and knocked on the door.
"I am back—"
As soon as I opened the door, I was tackled by Theo.
"Welco back, Kyle. I missed you so much. Are you tired? Do you want
to give you anything? You don’t have to be shy or hold back when you are with ."
The alpha assured
and I felt a small laugh bubble inside .
Being with Theo felt the best. It made
feel like I could forget anything and everything that happened to .
I found myself not only leaning against Theo but also inhaling the scent of his strong pheromones.
"Kyle—? Are you alright?"
Theo asked in a concerned voice as he kept holding
even more tightly and I just wanted to bury myself in his scent.
"Yeah—! Everything is alright. I just... wanted to take a small rest and your scent is comforting. Just... stay with
for a little while longer."
I told the alpha, not knowing what my mouth was spewing. My mind felt blank at the mont and I was not able to think properly.
The alpha had gone stiff in my grip... not that I noticed or even did anything about this. I just closed my eyes and felt my body relax.
The next thing I knew, I was fast asleep.
However, unlike , who was calm and had even fallen asleep, soone else seed to be having a nervous breakdown.

’W-What should I do? Should I move Kyle? But that might wake him up. B-But Kyle’s scent is... too strong. Oh no—! My b-body is reacting... what should I do?’
The innocent session of Kyle falling asleep next to Theo seed to be causing Theo a lot of trouble. Especially with his power half, that had decided that now was the best ti to wake up and cause trouble.
No matter how much Theo tried to will it away, his body seed to not get the mo that he wanted to give it.
And any attempts to get away from Kyle seed futile as the grip Kyle had on him was too tight. In the end, all Theo could do was surrender himself to Kyle and relax.
’It will be fine. It’s just one night and I can take care of it myself. There is no need to feel worried. Nothing will happen.’
Theo kept reminding himself before he looked at Kyle and that thought went out of his mind. He only had one option left in his mind—to suffer.
And that was what he did as well. He closed his eyes and suffered through the whole night, just to keep Kyle company.
It was safe to say he felt and looked exhausted when he ’woke up’ the next day and faced Kyle.
