Early the next morning, before six o’clock, Lin Yang was awoken by a bunch of ssages.

First was Wang Bo saying that he would wait for him at the modification shop at seven in the morning and to not forget to bring his fishing gear when he ca to town.

Lin Yang replied with an okay, and gave an approximate ti of arrival.

Looking at the next ssage, they were all from Li Xiaopeng, a full six or seven of them.

He began by telling his cousin that he had already gotten his equipnt ready to leave, then asked when he was going, if he needed a ride, and so on... causing Lin Yang to roll his eyes.

He directly sent Li Xiaopeng the location of Wang Bo’s car modification shop and told him to wait there for him.

Having dealt with the ssages, Lin Yang quickly got out of bed to wash up.

Then, after telling his dad and mom that he was going out to fish, he imdiately took his fishing tools and drove to the city.

...

About half an hour later, not yet seven o’clock, Lin Yang arrived at Wang Bo’s car modification shop.

Upon his arrival, he found that Li Xiaopeng and Wang Bo were already waiting for him, since both of them lived in the city and were closer.

Parking his car directly at the shop, his vehicle would naturally be modified by the employees there for the rest of the day.

After arranging for his car, the group went to have breakfast at a nearby shop.

Aside from Li Xiaopeng, whom Lin Yang had invited, there was soone else Wang Bo had brought along for the day’s fishing trip in the mountains.

This person was his apprentice nad Tai, who seed quite honest and was impressively tall, standing at around one ter ninety.

The place they were heading to today was deep in the mountains within Qingshan Town, located between Qingyang Town and Dongyang Town, not very far from Lin Yang’s ho.

At this mont, Wang Bo’s apprentice Tai said, "Master, are we really going to fish in that place today? There’s no fish there at all!"

Hearing that, Wang Bo imdiately kicked him and then laughed as he said to Lin Yang, "Master Lin, don’t listen to Tai’s nonsense. There are definitely fish in that spot, it’s just that we haven’t caught anything after several days of trying..."

The place Wang Bo was talking about had been baited by them for a week, but after three days of fishing, they returned empty-handed, not catching even a whisker.

This was exactly why Tai had claid there were no fish in that place.

However, Wang Bo believed that there truly were big carps in that spot, and that their lack of success was due to poor technique.

With Lin Yang present today, Wang Bo wanted to give it another try to see if they could catch the big one that resided there.

Hearing Wang Bo’s explanation, Lin Yang didn’t mind and laughed, "No problem, lately I’ve only caught small fish when fishing in the wild and in fishponds. It’s rare to find a wild pit with a big catch, so giving it a try is fine."

He wasn’t lying; after such a long streak of catching small fish, he too wanted to change it up and see if he could snag a big one.

Besides, he had racked up plenty of points recently, so even if he ended up empty-handed today, he’d just consider it a day out enjoying the mountains.

Moreover, he was curious to see how his skills asured up now and whether he would truly end up not catching anything.

After breakfast, they stocked up on so water and snacks at the supermarket before starting the drive to the remote deep mountains.

The four of them drove two cars, both being Tank 300s driven by Wang Bo and Tai; both cars were modified.

About fifteen minutes after leaving the city, they entered Qingshan Town.

Driving for another twenty minutes or so, the cars completely left the small town behind and were faced with a stretch of mountains, finally stopping at the foot of one.

Here, the village-to-village cent road had disappeared.

Ahead was a mountain path composed of earth and gravel with a sharp incline, having at least a thirty to forty-degree grade. Not just Lin Yang, who had only recently bought a car, but even veteran drivers wouldn’t dare to navigate such a route.

After all, it was a true mountain road. In fact, Wang Bo once ntioned that only the first part of the journey was on a marked trail, and when they got closer to Qingshan Sky Hole, there wouldn’t be any path at all, requiring them to directly climb over the mountain.

Fortunately, Wang Bo and Tai were skilled—and not just skilled, but rather experts with years of off-road driving under their belts—and they were familiar with the route, so Lin Yang felt comfortable going along for the ride.

Since they were bringing so much fishing gear, the trunks of the two cars were not enough, and even the back seats were filled, leaving only the front passenger seats free.

After the cars began to ascend the mountain, looking down was an exhilarating experience!

To the left was a cliff that kept getting higher and higher, while on the right, one could only see the imposing mountains blocking the view. Lin Yang and Li Xiaopeng were lucky to be in the passenger seats, or else they might have been too scared to open their eyes.

Moreover, the mountain path was riddled with large pits from rain erosion, and from ti to ti, the cars would drop into them. Had they not been wearing seat belts, they could have been injured.

In any case, if it were up to Lin Yang alone, he definitely would not dare to drive on such mountain paths.

Thankfully, although Wang Bo and Tai were young, their driving skills were truly remarkable, and despite the bumpy ride, they never put the cars in a dangerous situation.

In the end, the marked path completely disappeared, and the vehicles had to directly ascend even steeper slopes, advancing diagonally upward.

This allowed Lin Yang and his companions to genuinely experience the feeling of crossing mountain after mountain.

After about fifteen minutes of driving, the two Tank 300s finally ca to a halt on a small clearing halfway up the mountain.

From there, they could see the deep, seemingly bottomless water-filled Heavenly Pit situated amid the mountains!

"Ugh..."

After parking the car, Li Xiaopeng imdiately got out due to severe discomfort and began to crouch on the ground, retching.

Lin Yang felt sowhat better; he wasn’t as exaggerated but still felt a bit dizzy and his stomach was churning.

Both of them were the kind that gets car sick, but not when they were driving themselves.

Luckily, the fresh air in the mountains quickly revived them, otherwise they wouldn’t have even felt like fishing for quite a while.

Lin Yang couldn’t help but lant in his heart that he had been fishing all this ti, but today was truly genuine wilderness fishing...

The four of them sat on the ground to rest and drink so water for a while.

Then each person shouldered their fishing gear and supplies and began to hike toward a large water hole not far away.

Since Wang Bo and Tai had been to this place about eight or nine tis before, although there was no path initially, they had created one through repeated visits.

After walking through the brush and leaves for roughly five minutes, the group finally reached the edge of the reservoir Heavenly Pit.

Wang Bo led them to a spot at the Hua Jian, in the middle of the reservoir Heavenly Pit.

This area was slightly sloped, but now there was a relatively flat open space about six or seven square ters, apparently excavated with shovels.

In front of the clearing were three fishing spots, which Lin Yang had heard from Wang Bo before, were where he and Tai, along with another companion, had fished before.

They fished for two days straight but since they were all unsuccessful, the other person decided not to co anymore.

Then, on the third day, just the two of them ca, and they were unsuccessful again...

Tai had also planned not to co here again, but today he was persuaded by his Master Wang Bo to return.

"Master Lin, you choose the spot first. If these three aren’t enough, I’ll have Tai clear another spot..."

Tai, very conscientiously, set down his fishing gear, took out the military shovel hanging from his bag and started making room for another fishing spot.

With all four of them intending to fish, the original clearings could accommodate them if they squeezed in, but it would have been inconvenient.

Without tools to help, Lin Yang and Li Xiaopeng chose their spots and began preparing their fishing gear.

After setting up his gear, Lin Yang checked his phone and was surprised to find the signal was quite good here, with four bars!

When he was in the car earlier, he thought that deep in the wilderness there would be no signal, but this was an unexpected surprise.

He then tested the download speed, which reached three to four gabytes per second, roughly the speed of 5G, completely adequate for live streaming.

It’s rare to co to such a primitive place for fishing, and since there’s a signal, Lin Yang naturally wanted to live stream.

Even if he didn’t catch any fish, just enjoying the scenery wouldn’t be bad.

Lin Yang took out his phone stand and quickly started the live stream.

"Starting the stream pretty early today."

"Why does the surrounding environnt seem so close to the mountains? Master Lin, where are you fishing today?"

"Wow, that big water hole in front looks terrifying just from the deep blue color of the water..."

Over ti, Lin Yang’s account had accumulated over eighty thousand followers.

As the number of followers grew, hundreds of people quickly joined the live stream.

Lin Yang explained, "Today, I’ve co to do so wilderness fishing in the mountains with a few friends. It took us nearly half an hour to get here from the foot of the mountain, and that was with an off-road vehicle. A regular car wouldn’t stand a chance."

"Is this a prival forest by any chance?"

"You need an off-road vehicle to get here? That’s quite remote, isn’t it?"

"For those of us who love wilderness fishing, this place is really great."

"Host, give us the location; I want to co here for so wilderness fishing too. It doesn’t matter if I don’t catch anything, just to see the scenery would be nice..."

Sitting at his spot, Lin Yang chatted with his viewers from ti to ti while getting his fishing gear ready.

He had co specifically to catch big fish today, so he used the nine-ter pole he had bought last ti, and the line was eleven ters long.

Even though he was using a long pole, thick line, and large hook, and even though they had baited the spot for a week, Lin Yang still felt that catching fish today wouldn’t be easy.

After all, Wang Bo and his group had been unsuccessful here for three days straight. Even though Lin Yang could activate a 20% chance of catching a big fish buff, it wouldn’t be easy.

Such reservoir Heavenly Pits were ford entirely by rain and mountain spring water; generally, there wouldn’t be many fish in them, let alone ones weighing over thirty or forty pounds.

As expected, Lin Yang soon beca a little frustrated.

Knowing that there weren’t many fish in the Heavenly Pit, he baited his nine-ter main rod with corn and cast it into the water; then he made so small baited areas with rice wine and ground bait.

After that, he prepared an Old Three Style, took out a 4.5-ter rod, attached a line group of 0.8 0.4, and got ready to catch so smaller fish.

But after casting, five minutes went by, and the float didn’t move an inch....
