This species of shark is not under protection and can be consud, but people generally don’t eat it often. It is mainly eaten in Japan, therefore, it is not fard, and the catch size isn’t particularly large either.

Also, its price is slightly higher than that of a true dog shark, but only by a small margin, approximately selling for about 150 RMB per kilogram.
