For example, the Seven-star fish, acclaid as an ancient living fossil, although it looks sowhat like the Black fish, is smaller in size and has a texture that is incomparably more delicate and delicious than that of the Black fish.
Once the Seven-star fish was brought up, all three of them started using their chopsticks simultaneously.

This type of fish, also known as snake fish, belongs to the endemic marine and riverine fish species from Yunnan Province found in Nanting River along the border. Every breeding season, the eels need to undertake long migratory journeys to distant places to spawn and then return to the rivers of Yunnan to grow.
Among them, the most impressive one is called the Cloud Pattern Eel, which travels over 2000 kiloters to the Indian Ocean to spawn, before swimming back.
Because it travels such great distances, the flesh on its body is very firm with a unique texture.
Of course, the Cloud Pattern Eel has long been an endangered species, under the highest first-class protection in our country. It’s barely seen in the wild and naturally cannot be eaten.
What Lin Yang and his friends were eating now was another slightly more common variant of eel.

Moreover, the climbing perch’s gills have evolved to breathe moist air for short periods, enabling it to crawl on land for about two hours. Like the Seven-star fish, it is also considered a living fossil.
