On the other side, Jiang Moxi, under Fu Youhan’s arrangent, t with Kou Fei.

Kou Fei was still wearing that black tracksuit, looking quite spirited.

Upon seeing Jiang Moxi, Kou Fei simply pushed up her black-frad glasses, a hint of a smile playing at her lips: "I’ve been waiting for you."

Jiang Moxi asked her: "You knew I would co to see you? You wanted to tell why you were impersonating a Justice Hacker, didn’t you?"

Kou Fei did not rush to speak, instead she coldly glanced at the surveillance cara in the corner.

Jiang Moxi imdiately understood her intention and quickly took out her phone to tinker with it.

"Hacked it. No one will know about our conversation now."

With a light smile, Kou Fei said: "I impersonated a Justice Hacker because I discovered that the operation code suffix used by the Justice Hacker is one that Hacker X typically uses."

Kou Fei added: "In fact, every ti I saw you finish your work in just a few minutes, I suspected you might be Hacker X. But since Jiang Weiwei always got the first place on the assignnts, my suspicions were dispelled."

"What do you want from ?" Jiang Moxi looked at Kou Fei’s indifferent expression, feeling uneasy in her heart.

Suddenly, Kou Fei looked up at the small window high up in the cell, her voice raspy.

"I am Garfield, what do you think I want from you?"

Jiang Moxi’s gaze changed abruptly: "It’s you..."

Hacker X used to cause chaos internationally at will and attracted a few like-minded companions.

The hacker known as Garfield was one of them.

Garfield collaborated with Jiang Moxi, ssing up the drug lords’ deals several tis.

Consequently, Garfield was also placed fifth on the hacker hit list.

But after that accident four years ago, Jiang Moxi had to completely retire to protect Feng Ming, and didn’t even have the chance to say goodbye to her forr companions.

Therefore, over the past four years, Kou Fei had been searching for traces of Hacker X.

It wasn’t until recently that she saw the familiar code in the suffix used by the Justice Hacker.

Upon learning that the Justice Hacker had secured a learning spot at the Information Security Departnt, she spared no effort and followed suit.

During this ti, she had been surreptitiously observing her fellow students.

But no one, it seed, matched the character and style of Hacker X.

The only one close to that was Jiang Moxi.

Hence, Kou Fei took the initiative to get close to Jiang Moxi and upon investigating, found out she was endorsed by Si Lin.

Only after the first invasion by the Justice Hacker did Kou Fei begin to see a glimr of hope.

But after hacking into Jiang Weiwei’s computer, she knew the software was installed by stacking effects, so she was aware Jiang Weiwei was not the Justice Hacker.

Yet the Justice Hacker wanted to target Jiang Weiwei!

So, Kou Fei thought of disrupting the Justice Hacker’s plans to force the real Justice Hacker, or rather Hacker X, to reveal themselves.

The plan went smoothly, and Kou Fei finally got to et Hacker X.

Jiang Moxi also fit the image she had envisioned for Hacker X; Kou Fei felt her wish was fulfilled.

But Jiang Moxi was filled with remorse: "I’m sorry, sothing happened back then and I couldn’t explain to you in ti."

"It’s alright, as long as you are alive."

Kou Fei continued to look at that small window at the top, but now her eyes were slightly reddened.

"I will find a way to get you out of here," Jiang Moxi knew that Kou Fei’s mother was addicted to gambling.

She worked several jobs a day and even shalessly begged Jiang Dinghai for money, all to survive with her mother.

Kou Fei smiled and nodded, "If you can’t save , it’s okay. Being looked after in here, with als and housing, it’s much better than the relentless struggle outside."

Hearing Kou Fei’s words, a touch of bitterness filled Jiang Moxi’s heart, and as she left the jail, she was even more determined to rescue Kou Fei.

After leaving the jail, Jiang Moxi started to contact Fu Youhan.

She knew that if she wanted to rescue Kou Fei, it would be a lot easier to start with Fu Youhan.

But strangely, she couldn’t get through to Fu Youhan’s phone at all.

"How odd, didn’t he just call ?"

Jiang Moxi was puzzled and decided to call Chi Jing instead.

Normally, Chi Jing would stay by Fu Youhan’s side, so finding Chi Jing would an finding Fu Youhan.

Chi Jing answered quickly, but he said, "I’m not with Third Young Master, he’s gone back to the Fu Family Mansion."

Upon hearing the words "Fu Family Mansion," Jiang Moxi’s mind inexplicably conjured the image of Fu Wangning.

However, Jiang Moxi still returned to Tianqin Bay, quietly waiting for Fu Youhan’s return.

But as ti passed, there was still no sign of Fu Youhan.

And the sky of Yan City seed as if punctured by holes, as the heavy rain kept pouring down without cease.

Out of boredom, Jiang Moxi was scrolling through short videos when she inadvertently ca across a news report—

"Miss Fu hospitalized due to illness, Third Master Fu shows concern with visit."

There was also a photo in the news, taken from outside the ward looking in.

In the photo, Fu Wangning, clad in a hospital gown, leaned against the bed with a pale face, her black hair partially covering her face, amplifying her fragile deanor.

And the man on the wheelchair was only captured from the back, but he was in the act of personally feeding her dicine...

Although the news could be considered overly dramatic for using terms like "heartache" and "concern" based on just a photo from the back,

the fact that this man was feeding Fu Wangning dicine was true.

After staring at that picture for a long ti, Jiang Moxi decided not to trouble Fu Youhan with Kou Fei’s matter.

She changed into a simple grey tracksuit and quickly left Tianqin Bay on her motorcycle.

Half an hour later, a young person arrived at a rundown internet café on Yan City’s comrcial street.

The owner pointed to a spot in the corner.

"That’s the only one left; it lags a bit, might not be good for gaming."

But the young person said, "I just need to look up so literature for my thesis, I don’t mind if it’s laggy."

The owner promptly booted up the computer for her.

After sitting down, the young person inserted a USB drive into the computer and started typing rapidly on the keyboard.

Minutes later, the Information Security Departnt building was attacked again, and the invasion spread from the surrounding computers to the whole city, swallowing Yan City.

As the major traffic hubs across the city fell into paralysis once more, nearly every screen connected to the internet in the city displayed the sa line of text—

"A bunch of useless fools, still can’t catch !"

This sentence also appeared on the giant LED screens outside the malls, and all over the city.

One can imagine the shock this brought to people.

Almost everyone who saw this sentence felt it was a provocation.

The Information Security Departnt and the National Security Departnt imdiately convened an ergency eting and contacted Fu Youhan and Si Lin.

At the ti of the call, Si Lin was leisurely driving around outside.

Then, when traffic suddenly ground to a halt, pedestrians stood dumbfounded, pointing at the LED screens outside the malls and discussing sothing.

Following the direction they were pointing, Si Lin saw the displayed sentence.

He imdiately disregarded the torrential rain, got out of the car, and stared blankly at the scrolling text.

The phone suddenly rang, and Si Lin answered directly.

It was soone from the National Security Departnt calling about the incident.

"I saw it; I’m on my way." Si Lin hung up and imdiately called Jiang Moxi...
