"This looks like a good dress for you." Elizabeth smiled as she handed over a blue dress with a golden embroidery on its edges to Charlotte.
Charlotte smiled happily as she put it on her in a trying attempt.
She looked over in the mirror and found it perfectly matching her hair.
"You are right Lizzy, this looks so good!" She squealed as she handed another dress to Michael, who had everyone's bags in his hand.
Standing by Ren, the blonde haired boy didn't mind it, he himself had volunteered to take them all and after much insistence they agreed.
Elizabeth chuckled, putting a hand to her mouth.
"Hehe, I'm glad you like it."
"This looks good on you!" From the other side, a voice ca.
It was Alya, who had a multitude of dresses in her hand forcing them on Liliana, who was overwheld by her.
She held up her hands as Alya annoyingly handed her dress after dress to try.
"I know! I'll try them one by one, you need to calm down Alya!" She pushed them back a little. "No, you need to quickly try them, we aren't even done with 1 shop yet!"
Michael, Charlotte and Elizabeth laughed seeing the exchange at the other end of the shop.
As Elizabeth turned to look for another dress, her eyes moved to the side where she saw Ren standing with a frown creasing his features.
His hands were still crossed behind his hand and he was standing in a laid-back fashion but there was a contemplative look on his face.
For soone whom Elizabeth always saw utterly relaxed and careless, she was surprised. Turning to him, she asked.
"Is sothing wrong Ren?" She asked, as he chewed on the toothpick in his mouth nonstop while looking at the ground.
The toothpick was given to him by Alya, to stop him from the urges of smoking while around them.
Ren still seed to be out of it as he kept staring down, not having heard her.
So Elizabeth leaned closer, putting her hand on his shoulder.
It was only after her touch, that Ren shook awake.
"Huh?" He said, the toothpick dropping out of his mouth because of the sudden response.
But as it started falling down, Ren's hand shot up without even looking down and effortlessly caught the toothpick, putting it back in his mouth.
Elizabeth was surprised at his sudden reflexes but she moved back to the matter.
"You good? You seem out of it."
"Oh.." Ren's mouth opened but he nodded.
"Yeah I am, was just thinking about my bro."
Elizabeth's brows raised at the ntion of 'bro'.
Since Michael was already here, then Ren probably ant 'him'.
"What about him?" She asked, not getting his worries.
He looked up at her with surprise.
"I thought you would know best considering how close you are to him?" He said with slightly wide eyes.
A faint shade of pink appeared on her cheeks as he ntioned 'close' but she composed herself and tilted her head in confusion.
"What do you an? I think he's perfectly fine?" she asked, genuinely not getting him.
After Amon had disappeared in that incident a month ago, everyone got to know about Elizabeth's feelings for Amon.
Her worry for him showed it clearly and though it was not nearly enough to Alia, it still showed how she felt about him.
After he ca back, Elizabeth relieved and knew that he was going through a hard ti.
But in her eyes, he had recovered within a week at most probably.
He seed to be perfectly fine after that or was she wrong?
She didn't know. Ever since that 'kiss' incident and midterms, she couldn't place her finger on Amon.
She loved him but at tis she was scared of him, imnsely so.
There was at certain tis a side to him that sent a wave of eternal fear down her being.
Tis when he just wasn't the white armor prince she pictured him to be.
But rather a ruthless, stoic killer covered in blood with no remorse on his face.
Just picturing it, sent a shudder down her being and she knew she was right.
Day by day, she saw that side in him more and more, especially that karaoke night. Looking at Ren, she also wondered how he, being the closest to Amon out of all of them, never felt such type of sensation from him.
Ren, out of all of them, wasn't just a friend to Amon, he was like a brother.
The amount of trust and respect he had for Amon was incomparable to to his trust for others.
When Amon disappeared, he didn't attend the funeral as well, and it wasn't for Athena as most of them were thinking.
No, it was to find where Amon had disappeared.
Even when so of them believed him to be dead and such, he never believed in anything, only staying silent and being away.
Even now, she couldn't understand how he was thinking that sothing was wrong with Amon when everyone else was fine.
If Elizabeth had to be honest, she was even annoyed with Amon.
She knew he was busy in midterms after that 'kiss' incident but he just disappeared
afterwards.
And when he ca back, no matter how much she tried to ask him out or sothing, he was always keeping himself away from her.
Why wasn't he paying attention to her? Was she like a toy for him to manipulate and throw
away?
He was completely good after the incident so why was he still acting distant to her after the
incident.
Moving back to the present situation, she saw Ren shake his head.
"No, sothing was definitely wrong with him when he said he would co later. I don't
know why you all don't get it."
An annoyed look ca on Elizabeth's face.
"Then why didn't you ask him about it?" She asked, annoyed.
It had truly gone enough. If he thought sothing was wrong, then why didn't he just talk to
Amon about it.
