"You are really planning to leave . After I have travelled so far to be with my wife," Killian said, pulling on her dress to get her to stay in bed.

"You snap your fingers and appear where your heart desires. It was not difficult for you to get back here. I spent plenty of ti in bed with you and after so thought, I have decided to spend the rest of the night with Lilith, Edith, and Gina. I don’t want to back out now that my husband is here," Alia said as she put on her shoes.

Gina wasn’t here to help her and she would rather not call Gina from wherever she was to help with getting dressed. It was sothing she could do on her own.

"I will have to wear a night dress to cover my neck because of what you did. They will look at

like I am crazy for wearing it in such hot weather. I shouldn’t have listened to you. I should have known you were marking my skin so I wouldn’t want to leave, but the joke’s on you," Alia said, pulling her dress out of his hand to get away from him.

Killian rolled on his back to look at her as she continued to prepare herself to sleep in another room with the others. "You would think that with your husband spending all of daylight away from you, they would be understanding and let you stay here," he said.

"They are understanding which is why they have not co knocking at our door-"

"You are finally calling it our bedroom more often now," Killian noted.

"Well, though we have been married for a while this has always been my bedroom so I think of it as mine. I’m getting used to you being in it just as much as . We can have a bigger room if you like. You will have to bring so things here for the days we will spend in this castle. It is not big for the two of us," Alia said, looking around the room that was big enough for her, but not the two of them.

Even after she had sent most of her things to the north, she returned with a bit of luggage that took up a lot of space in her closet and around the room. Killian had mostly brought clothes and she had no idea where he was keeping his weapons. His room in the north was much bigger compared to the two.

"Fraser had started to go over my father’s tower which is much bigger than my room, but I do not want to stay there. It will feel weird because of all the won he had there. There are so rooms we could knock down walls and make bigger. I will turn this bedroom into a room for

to get away," Alia decided.

"Get away from what?" Killian asked, enjoying the sight of her lifting her hair to tie it.

"You," Alia answered, standing up from the bed before Killian could grab her. "The people who will be in the court, friends, and maybe our children sotis. I like having a mont to stop and think in peace. You can have a room prepared for only you when you don’t feel like being in my presence."

"I enjoy being around you," Killian replied, inspecting the light blue dress that suited her nicely. He made a ntal note to call the dressmaker from the north to make more dresses for her. A nice gift to her getting the throne she always wanted.

"Must you always make

feel like I am not romantic enough for you? I am not changing my mind about having a room for myself so I can run away and be free. You might also change your mind when we have children and you want a mont alone. You can fly away from them, but I cannot. You know, I did think sothing lovely of you today," said Alia.

She recalled her conversation with Beth.

"I spoke of how the throne was always most important to , but now it is not. My focus is now on you and the child that Lilith says we are having. I would love for you to be able to sense that there is a child inside of

so I can start preparing for the future. If the child does grow quickly, we will need to start picking out a room here and in the north. Then there are clothes-"

"You are getting ready to stress yourself out again. You have plenty of people around you to help prepare everything you will need. Now, get back in bed," Killian said, impatient with not getting to feel her warmth. It wasn’t fair that he had to share his wife.

Alia made sure not to look back at the bed where Killian lay naked with only the sheet covering the lower half of his body. She will not make the mistake again of joining him in bed with hopes of it being quick so she could be on her way.

Her body was already covered with the bites he made and she could still feel the sensation of his mouth on her. If she were to get back into bed with him, she would not be seeing Lilith tonight.

"I will make it up to you for abandoning you when you’ve co to see . When will you not have to leave my side and get to stay here all day?" She asked as she walked to the door to leave.

"From tomorrow. Unless there is trouble, I won’t have to leave you. I have placed other demons to take over in watching the other kingdoms. I have finished my part in what I told Lucifer I would do," Killian replied.

Alia couldn’t be happier to hear this. She wanted Killian back by her side and if she had to spend much longer only seeing him at night, she was going to have so colourful words for Lucifer.

"That is good news. Lilith told

that Fraser is now in the underworld so you can visit him now while I am away or spend so ti with Alastor. I will see you tomorrow. Love you," Alia said and then opened the door to leave her sulking husband alone.
