Chapter 318: Chapter 318
Lilith pulled Alia’s hand off her mouth when they got out of the throne room. "I might be a demon, but I still need to breathe, Alia. Are you sure you want to leave those two alone? The sexual tension between the two of them is more than I can handle right now. You might not be the only person in your family that is carrying a child sono."
"Sorry," Alia apologised for covering Lilith’s mouth. "I just needed to get those two to stay together and talk. If you don’t mind, I don’t want to hear about any sexual tension between the two of them."
"You are the one pushing them together. Would you really be okay with that man marrying your mother? What if they run off sowhere and leave you?" Lilith asked.
"I wouldn’t mind. First, we would have to get rid of the problem with my mother’s soul. Then we can think about her getting married or just being with Leonard. She doesn’t need to be married again. If they want to run off sowhere to get out of the castle, I would help them find a place to stay. All that matters for
is my mother’s happiness," Alia replied.
Alia enjoyed this reunion with her mother but she knew sooner than she liked her mother would want to get out of this castle and Alia couldn’t bla her. The castle wasn’t a happy place for her mother and if they had to et sowhere outside of the castle to speak with each other, Alia was fine with that.
"Well, aren’t you the perfect daughter? Now, where are we going since you ntioned your cousin? I really want to see you make him cry and if you are going to speak with him, you need so protection. I don’t see your guard or your maid who I spotted with Alastor again. Seems like she wanted to know what the fun was like to be with a demon and now she can’t stop," Lilith said, enjoying the new relationship forming.
Alia was still puzzled by how Gina and Alastor beca a thing. Even if it was just for sex. She was not seeing much of Gina since she had taken Fraser off the throne and it was starting to bug her, but she didn’t want to force Gina to tell her about Alastor. She did want Gina to rember that she was her maid and that sotis she was needed.
For a man like Alastor who always spoke of Killian slacking off, he was doing a good job at taking away Alia’s maid at a ti like this.
"Edith is sowhere in the castle hunting down one of Fraser’s allies. We are going to visit my cousin right now. I am going to decide if I will keep my plan to let him stay imprisoned or just kill him. Fraser being locked away in a dungeon is already like hell for him. To be in such a place when he was once king might send him mad," Alia explained as she knew how proud Fraser was.
She knew he had to be complaining about being in the sa place as commoners. He might cry when he sees her and plead to be given a second chance instead of arguing with her.
"I don’t see why you are being kind to your cousin. I thought as soon as you got the chance you would kill him," Lilith said, not understanding Alia’s decision.
"I did think of killing him when I was in the north and a little bit when I was here, but I am taking a note out of the underworlds book to torture him in this world before he dies. Let him sit alone in a dark room and think over his actions. Fraser has always annoyed , but he was always a puppet so it seems wrong to kill him so soon," said Alia.
His strings were always pulled by Richard, Beth, or Cedric. Fraser still did things on his own to piss her off, but he had done nothing to her like so other people. She knew it had to be all Cedric’s idea to try preventing her from getting pregnant and it couldn’t be helped that Fraser had more people supporting her.
Fraser trying to kill Killian and the fact Alia didn’t want a previous king roaming around was what kept him in the castle dungeon instead of leaving with Beth. She didn’t need him to get in anyone’s head and try to create followers to go against what she was planning.
Just as it had been done in the past, the previous king needed to disappear now that the castle was taken over by soone else who would sit on the throne.
"I say we just kill him," Lilith said, shrugging her shoulders. "I’m sure your husband would agree with ."
"Killian does want to kill Fraser, but he is letting
deal with Fraser first. Fraser hired so n to kill Killian, and Fraser had always spoken down on
around Killian, so there is no chance Killian wants to let Fraser live. Maybe I should make Fraser have to fight against Killian as a punishnt," Alia said, liking the sound of it.
Fraser was no different to her father, who sat back and sent out n to fight their battles. If Fraser wanted Killian dead, he should pick up his sword to fight Killian. Alia already knew how that would end, but it was sothing she wanted to see.
"Do you know how to fight with a sword or any other weapon, Lilith?"
"Of course! I told you that I killed people for a living before I died and went into the underworld. I can fight with any weapon you place before . Why? Do you want
to fight against your cousin? Cause I would," Lilith replied, excited to get to kill a king again. It had been so long since soone tasked her to do a big job.
"No, I want to learn how to fight and Killian was supposed to teach , but he’s always too busy. There’s Edith, but I think she would worry too much about how Killian would react to her teaching . Would you mind teaching
how to use a weapon? I want to be able to defend myself. I don’t want to rely on soone all the ti," Alia said as it made her feel like a damsel.
"I certainly am not afraid of your husband to care how he will react so why not? I never thought Killian would be the type to be slow to train you because he’d rather place an army around you. Doesn’t want a single strand of your hair taken so I must do this," Lilith said, moving her right hand quickly to pull a strand of hair out of Alia’s head.
"Ow!" Alia winced. "Did you really have to yank it out?"
"Oh co on. Don’t tell
that pain did not excite you."
