Josie

Thorne’s lips were soft, yet they let feel all the things that he didn’t want to say. I wanted to drown in the heat of his love, and not think of anything else.

Suddenly, he held by the hair and pulled back harshly. I started at him, as he glared right at .

Don’t do this, I pleaded in my mind, but Thorne turned his back at as he walked out of my room like he was never there.

My mind spiralled to the ti with Kiel and Ruby’s harsh words. She was supposed to be kind to , but... I groaned as I moved, clicking the bolt in place as I moved to the bed, using the duvet to cover my body.

I can’t take this anymore.

I have to get out of my own head or everything would be finished.

***

I frowned as I pulled the duvet off , thanks to the soft knocks on the door. Who could it be now? I didn’t wish to talk to anyone today.

The knocks wouldn’t stop though. I walked over to the door and pulled it right open, only to see Varen smiling at like I have done sothing comndable.

"Good morning, Alpha," I whispered.

He rolled his eyes. "Since when did you beco so formal?" He teased.

I said nothing, rembering how he forced to leave the field yesterday. All of them had insane mood swings, but I wouldn’t let their nonsense get to .

"Well," He added as he reached for my arm. "Let’s forget that. I have to show you sothing."

I pulled my hand back, flipping my hair over my shoulder. "I’m not decent. I have to at least shower and dress up properly. I would et you later," I offered.

He frowned at . "No."

"No? I don’t understand..."

Varen grabbed a hold of my hand and led out of my room, with the guards trailing after us. "You’re good the way you are and this can’t wait. It’s really important, Josie."

We moved through the hallway till I ended up in front of Varen’s room. I turned my gaze at him, wondering what he was up to.

He slid open the door and I stepped into the room that slt like him - wood, bananas and a scent that was made for him. The place was cleared up and it looked so different. The mont I turned to the left, I realized we weren’t alone, but Kiel was dicing streak with oranges like a professional chef.

What was going on?

"Co," Varen muttered, intruding in my thoughts.

I rose my brow in question and he winked at instead. I blushed lightly, enjoying how different he was this morning and how the two of them were working together to make feel better.

Varen led to a threw sitter golden dining table, where white plates that was filled with tantalizing dishes were already laid out. He pulled out one of the chairs and made sit on it before going to the other side to sit too.

"What’s happening, Varen?" I queried.

He poured a glass of wine for the two of us. "We are having breakfast."

I stared at the glass he kept in front of . "But... Thorne? I an, he must be waiting for us downstairs so we can have breakfast together. Wouldn’t he be upset?"

Varen frowned. "I don’t care. Look, Josie, let’s forget about him. He would just ruin our mood, ok? Kiel worked so hard for this food, so..."

My eyes slid over to Kiel who was sprinkling spices on the streak now. He was so serious and it made smile. Well, if wasn’t like Thorne was nice to yesterday, and Varen was right. He could start fighting for no reason. That was the last thing I wanted.

Kiel was finally done with the cooking and he brought it to the table, pecking lightly on the cheek in greeting. I blushed as I looked at Varen, who was smirking at .

"This is so kind of you," I gushed.

They rolled their eyes at . "We didn’t do much and you know it. Plus, I don’t want to argue about all these. I’m starving," Kiel whined.

Kiel and Varen took turns to feed and give whine while I held the night gown closer to as pleasure slipped through my body to the core of . These n knew exactly how to make feel things without doing much.

Kiel suddenly rose to his feet and he scooped up while taking over to the direction of the bed.

"I don’t think this is a good idea. I’m still dirty and I could..." I had barely finished and I was dumped right on the bed.

Kiel jumped to my left and Varen moved to my right. I looked at one to the next and suddenly, I couldn’t help laughing. Kiel threw his hand across my middle, smiling with . While Varen licked across the face, his fingers pulling at my night gown.

My heart stopped as my arousal nuzzled my senses. I let my hunger caress Kiel’s hand, loving the way he slid even closer to .

"I.." My breath pulsed suddenly. "This is so... I an, I love the way you both make feel and I don’t want it to stop."

Kiel growled and used his free hand to turn my face to his, his lips seeking mine at once. I moaned into his mouth, only for the door to creak open.

Kiel moved away from , and I could see the anger in his gaze as he looked at the door. It should be Thorne. But, when I looked at the door, it ended up being Carolyn.

What the hell?

"How dare you co to my room without knocking?" Varen grunted out.

I stared at him. "You didn’t send for her?"

"Why would I send for her? I don’t need a fucking cleaner?"

That made pause. Co to think of it, I told her that she shouldn’t co into the Alphas room to clean so what was she doing here?

Carolyn moved from one foot to the next. "I..."

"Varen is right. You’re not supposed to be here to clean. So, tell why are you here!" I snapped at once, causing her to shiver a bit.
