Chapter 898: Shen Yunya Wants to et Her
Shui Jue gave Feng Tianlan a worried look. “At first, there was always soone who would stir things up every day. I killed a few but a different person would start spreading more rumors the next day.”
Whenever he killed a batch, another batch would take over. It was never-ending. He could kill these people; however, he couldn’t kill every citizen of Lin’an City. Besides, he couldn’t disturb Her Highness while she was shutting herself in. Therefore, he could only watch as the people spread these rumors around.
Even if they were to send soone over to lead the commoners into believing that those rumors weren’t real, this world was filled with people who loved to fan the flas of trouble. Therefore, it wouldn’t really work that well.
“Please punish , Your Highness. I did a bad job.”
Feng Tianlan glanced at Shui Jue and said faintly, “You all did well. You can retreat for now.”
If they were to fight when she was shutting herself in, her practice would really be affected. Therefore, this was the best thing they could have done.
Shui Jue glanced at Feng Tianlan, surprised. He then said, “Yes,” with great respect. After saying that, he disappeared into the darkness.
Feng Tianlan entered the palace imdiately after that. However, while she was on her way to Zhaoyang Palace, she was blocked off by Shen Yunya’s trusted subordinate. She then bowed with respect. “First Miss, Her Highness misses you. Therefore, she invited you over to the East Palace to talk about the old days.”
“Are you blocking my path?” Feng Tianlan squinted her eyes dangerously.
“Her Highness has sothing to tell you regarding Princess Zhaoyang.” Shen Yunya’s trusted subordinate continued to bow. “Her Highness said that you will regret if you don’t go over there.”
Feng Tianlan’s eyes imdiately turned cold. She then raised her hand and slapped the woman across the face which instantly made her kneel on the ground. “Rember, your life is also mine.”
After saying that, she turned around and walked towards the East Palace. Shen Yunya was obviously threatening her with Sister Lin.
Shen Yunya’s trusted subordinate was kneeling on the ground. She vomited a mouthful of blood along with two teeth. This Shen Qingdai was much more brutal than the previous one. She hadn’t expected Shen Yunya to move to the East Partial Palace in just a month. She was wondering if Xi Jin had secretly arranged it or if she had pulled so great tricks to get herself there.
However, would Luo Shiyun really agree to that?
It seed like a lot had happened during the past month while she had shut herself in.
Just after Feng Tianlan entered the East Partial Palace, she saw Shen Yunya reclining in the imperial concubine’s chair. There were ice cubes beside her and imperial maids who were fanning her. They looked very uncomfortable. Her hands were crossed above her abdon which made her looked as if she was very precious.
“Ma’am, First Miss Shen has arrived,” the imperial maid reported.
Upon hearing that voice, Shen Yunya opened her eyes and watched Feng Tianlan walk in. She asked the imperial maids to help her up and give her a soft cushion. She then waved her hand. “You can all retreat. Without my permission, no one shall co near us.”
The imperial maids then retreated in succession, leaving Feng Tianlan and Shen Yunya alone.
“Were you shutting yourself in to practice?” Shen Yunya glanced at Feng Tianlan. She realized that Tianlan’s Spiritual Force had upgraded to a new level, which shocked her.
Before Shen Qingdai had died, both her bodies were useless. However, after she was reborn, she managed to beco an Advanced-stage Earth Supre in just three years. This progress was too quick.
