Chapter 422: The Rankings On The Newcor’s List
Feng Tianlan didn’t particularly care about her ranking. She found Gu Nansheng afterward and returned the Spiritual Crystal. “Thank you for your kindness, but I can’t accept this without any rit.”
“You didn’t absorb it?” Gu Nansheng was surprised. Her gaze halted at the jade tablet in Feng Tianlan’s hand.
“I can’t accept this without any rit.”
T corners of Gu Nansheng’s mouth twitched and she looked at Feng Tianlan as though she was a weirdo. “Then throw it away. Once I have given sothing, I won’t take it back.”
There was actually soone who did not compromise even when given a Spiritual Crystal. Feng Tianlan was really interesting.
Feng Tianlan glanced at her once more, then curled her fingers back over the crystal. She responded faintly, “Thank you. I will surely return this favor.”
“Without the Spiritual Crystal, you won’t be one of the top twenty and will remain as only an external disciple. What a sha.” She quite liked Feng Tianlan’s confidence and vibe. She wanted to befriend her. If she was an internal disciple, Gu Nansheng could guide her personally, but as an external disciple, she had no chance of being guided by Gu Nansheng at all.
This Feng Tianlan was interesting but stupid. How could she allow her confidence to limit her strength? No wonder she was bullied. That night, she probably went out for no other reason but a leisure walk.
If Feng Tianlan knew Gu Nansheng’s current thoughts, she would not know whether to cry or laugh.

“Stop daydreaming!” Gu Nansheng raised her head in mockery. “How could the useless daughter of the Feng Family...” She choked on her words, blinking in disbelief, as she read the golden na of the first rank on the tall jade tablet.
On the newcor’s list, the shining golden na was none other than Feng Tianlan’s. There was a row of small letters below her na declaring, “Fire Elent, First-stage Spiritual Grandmaster”.
Gu Nansheng blinked three more tis. After repeatedly making sure that it was Feng Tianlan’s na on the newcor’s list, she turned and glared at Feng Tianlan furiously. Her face turned red with anger. “Liar!”
It turned out she had belittled a genius and even gave her a Spiritual Crystal out of pity. Feng Tianlan probably thought of her as a clown and an idiot!
How embarrassing! Gu Nansheng’s eyes burned with extre anger.
“...” Feng Tianlan did not rember lying to her.
After looking at the newcor’s list, Zhao Haojiang brought his followers and they crowded around Feng Tianlan angrily.
“Feng Tianlan, didn’t you say you are an Advanced-stage Spiritual Master?” Zhao Haojiang straightened to his full height and snarled at Feng Tianlan.
Despite everyone’s gaze on her, she replied calmly, “I was before, but not anymore.”
Zhao Haojiang jabbed his finger in the direction of the newcor’s list and continued shouting, “It’s clearly written there that you are a First-stage Spiritual Grandmaster! So you must have hidden your strength, beaten us up, and then pretended you were an Advanced-stage Spiritual Master. You treated everyone like a fool!”
