Chapter 1163: The Disappearance of Feng Tianlan
Although she was disgusted with Chen Xinyi who suddenly jumped on her unexpectedly, Feng Tianlan wasn’t thinking of killing her. So Chen Xinyi had not been severely injured and would recover quickly after taking the Quick Healing Pill.

Feng Tianlan ignored him anyway. After making sure that Chen Xinyi was alright, she checked the big tree that had been chopped down by the blue light. She observed that the surface was smooth and flat, and no trace of the blue light was left behind.
“Chirp chirp~” Red Cutie-Pie pranced around on White Cutie-Pie’s head, chirping at Feng Tianlan.
“ow ow~” White Cutie-Pie also raised its head and looked at Feng Tianlan.
“What’s wrong?” Feng Tianlan looked at the two adorable little beasts.
“Chirp chirp~”
“ow ow~”
Red Cutie-Pie and White Cutie-Pie continued chirping and owing, trying to tell her that the scent from the blue light was really familiar. It slled like her, yet it’s not exactly her, so they did not step out to protect her imdiately.
Seeing that they were still chirping and owing, Feng Tianlan thought for a mont and asked, “You are familiar with the blue light just now?”
She had only noticed one thing because the blue light went by too quickly just now. She was thinking that if it had been a human, it wouldn’t have moved like that. One could also say that it was a thing, that just looked like a beam of light. She wasn’t sure what the blue light was either.
Red Cutie-Pie and White Cutie-Pie imdiately nodded their heads as they continued to chirp and ow. Their owner was so clever to be able to guess what they were trying to say.
“A human? Do you rember the scent?” Feng Tianlan asked again.
Both Red Cutie-Pie and White Cutie-Pie jumped on her again, trying to say that it had her scent. But she was standing right here, also why would she try to kill herself?
Stunned, the two adorable beasts glared at each other, sparks almost flying as their eyes t.
Feng Tianlan didn’t know why they jumped on her, so she said, “Let know if we et that person.”
Red Cutie-Pie and White Cutie-Pie looked at Feng Tianlan, puzzled, then nodded their heads. Nothing will go wrong if they listened to their owner.
Seeing that Red Cutie-Pie seed to have gained so control over White Cutie-Pie, Feng Tianlan couldn’t help but chuckle. She turned and walked towards Chen Xinyi. “How is she? Has she gotten better?”
“It’s none of your business. You rescued her once and she saved you this ti, so you two no longer owe each other anything. Stay far away from my cousin,” Shi Yiqing said coldly.
Feng Tianlan nodded her head readily. “Sure.”
Shi Yiqing didn’t look too good after seeing how readily she agreed. After all, Shen Lan had saved them more than once, so they owed a debt of gratitude they could never return. Also, it was his cousin who kept clinging on to him, not Shen Lan’s fault.
But one would treat soone close and distant differently, so he would definitely be siding with his relative.
“Are you alright?” Ji You ca over. He saw the bloodstain on Feng Tianlan’s face and handed her a Blood Clotting dicine. “Put so dication on it. We should be safe here. The blue light just now doesn’t seem to be from a human being.”
Feng Tianlan did not take the Blood Clotting dicine from him but used her own instead. She poured a little on her fingers and applied it gently to the wound on her face. “Maybe it is part of the trials in this level. The Earth Soul Pagoda is such a strange place, it’s not surprising that strange things are happening.”
What’s weird was that she did not sense any murderous intent from the blue light and it seed like no one else noticed anything too.
“Please be careful.” As soon as he finished this sentence, Ji You’s eyes widened as Feng Tianlan disappeared right before his eyes. “Shen Lan!” he called out in a panic.
Everyone looked over after hearing his cry. They realized that Feng Tianlan had gone missing, leaving her two adorable beasts behind, chirping and owing anxiously.
