redith held Atlas's hand as they walked along the beach looking for the perfect spot to have their picnic. Atlas was holding the basket they had prepared simple things to eat such as; crackers and cheese, so grapes, pies, strawberries, sandwiches, chocolates, champagne and plastic utensils.
"Let's sit there." redith pointed at a spot under a palm tree with a surge of happiness through her.
Atlas spread out the blanket with the help of redith once they reached the place and they secured it with the help of rocks.
"Happy?" Atlas asked as he pulled so containers from the basket.
"I'm always happy when I'm with you." redith flashed a huge grin at him.
"Well,
too." Atlas confessed with a soft smile on his face.
"Crackers and cheese?" He asked her as he topped so crackers with cheese.
"Yeah" She reached for it and took a bite out of the crackers topped with cheese.
redith loved the flavor and texture of the crackers. It tasted so good!
"Can I ask you sothing?" redith asked suddenly causing Atlas to look up at her.
"Yeah, you can ask anything you want to know about ." He replied.
"That....how old are you?" redith asked, her eyes curiously looking at the man sitting beside her.
"Twenty-eight." He said softly.
"Twenty-eight." redith repeated, letting her tone inquinate a hint of filtration.
"Not too old, not too young. Perfect." The smile on her lips broadened and her eyes lowered on the plates in front of her, picking a strawberry she dipped into the chocolate. redith took the strawberry between her lips, then slowly ate it while maintaining eye contact with Atlas throughout.
redith saw his eyes darkened, "Are you trying to tempt Angel?"
He said smirking as his eyes flickered upon her lips. redith blushed trying best not to et his eyes. The courage she had had to put a flirtatious was nowhere to be found.
"Huh? Tempt who? I'm not a temptress." She mumbled. He just was capable of bringing her dark side without even trying.
Atlas smiled, wetting his lips but he said nothing. He watched as she took another strawberry doing the sa thing again, this ti she moaned as the strawberry juice fell on her tongue.
Suddenly she felt Atlas closer to her, "If you're going to be naughty, you need to be ready to be punished." He teased as he licked the chocolate sared on her lower lips.
redith's breath hitched as she felt him slide his hands down her thighs, she closed her eyes at the sensation. The sensation beca overwhelming when he pressed a soft kiss at her earlobe.
"Such a naughty girl." He muttered as his hands brushed against her breast.
redith moaned; she didn't care if people saw them right now.
Atlas grinned as he pulled away from her, "Wine?"
He smirked as redith opened her mouth but no sound ca out.
"What is your favorite color?" Atlas asked after a few minutes of silence.
redith t his eyes and without thinking she blurted out, "Blue."
She loved the color of his eyes. It sucked her in and she could get lost in it forever. It reminded her of the sky which shone bright again, no matter the storm, rain or clouds that covered it. It showed her life goes on, no matter what.
"Hmm why do I feel like you're talking about my eyes?" Atlas asked with a grin.
redith flushed, "Because I am? Yours?" asked redith, taking a sip of her wine.
"White."
redith frowned, "White?" She asked confused. It's kind of hard to believe that white was the favorite color of a guy like him.
"Yeah white. Why do you sound surprise?"
"Because you don't seem like soone who likes white." redith laughed.
"I didn't. But now I do. Do you know why?"
redith shook her head.
"Because it reminds of
of you." Atlas said staring at her.
"?" She arched her brows.
"Yeah."
"Why?" She now understood why he always got her white dresses but she wanted to know why.
Atlas's lips curled up, "One day, you would know. Angel."
redith pouted but said nothing. They enjoyed each other's company, the ambience between them was so good they both felt comfortable with the silence.
redith stood up after they had finished eating and packed their things back into the basket.
"Ready to have fun?" She asked with a huge grin on her face.
"Hmm what do you want to do?" Atlas asked looking at her.
redith removed her sandals, "You will see."
She raced through the sand, leaving Atlas behind as she approached the water.
The cool water touched her toes and she shivered but she didn't mind. She saw Atlas picking the cara they had brought.
She smiled and posed for him in the water as he took multiple shots of her.
"Co on! Don't miss out the fun."
Atlas smiled, he put the cara down and joined her.
Atlas was about to say sothing but redith splashed water at him, interrupting him.
She laughed happily as she played with the water. Atlas stared at her as his eyes swirled with emotions. The wind was blowing her hair and the sun's reflected in her eyes.
"You're so beautiful." Atlas muttered and pulled her to his chest to kiss her but his feet gave out and he found himself falling into the water along with her.
redith broke out into laughter as he hopped out of the water, soaking. He helped her out of the water too.
"Oh my" she laughed breathlessly.
Atlas pulled her closer to his body again and gently took her face in his hands while his eyes searched hers. The ocean waves danced around them.
redith lted when saw the fleeting of emotions in his eyes. His mouth t hers, his tongue invading her mouth. Their wet body stuck together as they kissed passionately. redith didn't care if people were staring at them, because all that mattered was right here with her.
But life wasn't that simple.. With love cos trials-trials which would make or break them.
