redith stared at the television screen with a blank look on her face. Sofia was happily explaining why she thinks the male lead of the Korean series they were watching was hot but her mind was sowhere.
All she could think about was the kiss. The kiss that set every inch of her body on fire. Did it really happen though?
redith was finding it hard to believe that her boss had really kissed her. It was completely out of the blue.
Never in a million years did she think her boss would kiss her. The way he had claid her mouth and the way she had surrendered to him made no sense.
Was he attracted to her? Or it was a mistake? Her shoulders slumped. The whole world seed to be moving in slow motion for her.
redith felt like she was walking in a dream world; a horrific, nightmarish dream world.
Atlas pretending that nothing happened after the lights ca back and the elevator started
working shattered her heart.
'Stupid rri. What were you expecting?' She scolded herself. They had work side by side during the day with none of them bringing up
the kiss and acting like it never happened.
"redith!" Sofia yelled her na snapping her out of her stupor.
"Hmm?" She glanced towards her friend and sighed.
"I have been calling you for a minute now but you seem to be sowhere. What is wrong?"
redith rubbed her neck and give a nervous smile. "N-nothing is wrong. I'm just tired."
"You're a bad liar rri. Just tell
what is going on." Sofia objected.
redith lowered her head and played her fingers in her lap.
"I-I did sothing and I don't know what to
do. It's driving
crazy."
Sofia raised her brows. "What did you do rri?"
redith knotted her fingers, unsure of how Sofia was going to react.
"I-I kissed my boss."
Utter silence consud them as Sofia processed her words.
"You did what??! rri what the f*ck happened? How? Atlas Martini?" Sofia yelled at her friend as she looked at her with a stern look.
"It just happened, okay? We were stuck in the elevator and I was freaking out because I hate small spaces and hates the dark. He was trying to calm
down and we just" redith blabbered on.
"So, he was the one who kissed you or you
kissed him?"
redith flushed, "He kissed ."
Sofia sighed. "Did you like it?"
redith nodded avoiding her best friend's gaze.
"So, what's the problem?"
redith groaned, "After that he pretended that it never happened and I feel so stupid. I an what was I expecting? It's not like he was going to ask
out or sothing. He was trying to help from getting a panic attack. It was just a kiss but why do I feel"
redith trailed off. She hated how she was feeling at the mont.
"We are going to the club right now. You're going to get laid tonight. I think being a virgin for so long is ssing with your head and clouding your judgent.
You're not going to sit here and get depressed over a man who acts like a jerk after taking
your first kiss."
Sofia stood up from the couch with her hands on her hips.
"Co on. I will find you a hot guy and you can forget about your boss."
redith gently sighed.
"But"
Sofia glared at her, "No buts. We are going and I'm going to make every guy head turned around when you walk inside the club tonight."
"Yes ma'am.
redith sighed. It seed tonight was the night she lose control and do sothing fun in a long ti. But was she ready to have sex
with a complete stranger?
A wave of nausea ran through her stomach. She knew it was just nerves, but staying at ho to feel gloomy over a man was not an option.
She will go to the club and kiss a few n to erase her boss's touch and lips from her mory.
redith thought.. But only if she knew what the night had in store for her.
