Around the sa ti… the Stuart cats were thoroughly enjoying their dinner of canned cat food.
Mmph ow, nom nom.

Kan-chan: (Sure enough, canned cat food is the best, ow)
“ow ww!”
Chou-chan: (Canned cat food is delicious, but I want to eat Chu*ru, ow!)
“Ooow w”
“ “w, ooww♡” ”
(Today’s canned food is tuna flavor, but tomorrow we’ll have chicken tenderloin flavor, ow) Ryuu-chan foresaw the nu for tomorrow’s dinner with her power and told her sons.
Kan-chan and Chou-chan replied (Can’t wait to eat it tomorrow, ow) as they imagined the taste of chicken tenderloin while grooming their faces, which had been their habit to take care of their appearances after als.
“ow, ww?”
Ryuu-chan looked at her two sons’ glossy fur and stopped washing her face with her forepaw to say (Oh my, you two have gained weight, haven’t you?)
“ “Oow ow ow—… ww!?” ”
(There’s no way we’ve gained—…) Kan-chan looked at Chou-chan, and Chou-chan looked at Kan-chan… Both suddenly widened their eyes and shouted in shock (We might have, ow!?)
They couldn’t help but see… Kan-chan’s lean and slick black abdon was now sowhat protruding…
Chou-chan was white and fluffy, but when his fur got wet, he boasted a slender body that looked only half his usual size. But now they couldn’t help but see that… the choker around his neck appeared sowhat tight.
“Oow ww?”
They had been eating the sa amount of als as usual.
(Purr-haps it’s because George and Leonard are absent, and you didn’t make up for most of your calorie consumption for [playing], ow) Ryuu-chan analyzed.
William often read books relaxedly in his leisure ti, and his closest cat, Ryuu-chan, would lay around lazily beside him. So even when William was absent, Ryuu-chan’s amount of exercise didn’t differ much.
She also used her precognition powers periodically, so even if she ate the sa amount as her sons, she had a way to burn the calories.
George and Leonard had intensive monster-hunting training from early morning every day. Since Kan-chan and Chou-chan were also participating actively in that training, they lacked exercise these past few days when George and Leonard were away.
“ow…”

Kan-chan: (So, I’ve put on weight…
At this rate, I will end up being called a “pig-cat.”
Sorry to all the pigs out there, but that’s the last thing I want to be called.
I don’t want my als to suddenly change to diet food one day.)
Chou-chan: (So, I’ve put on weight…
At this rate, I’ll end up crushing Daddy’s (my cushion’s) ribs.
I kinda hate that to happen, I guess.)

(I’m going to run laps around the garden for a bit!) Kan-chan said before he dashed off.
(Starting today, I’ll increase my patrols around our territory!) Chou-chan chased after Kan-chan.
“ow, ow…”
(It can’t be helped…) Ryuu-chan followed the two to the garden.

-Stuart Mansion, cave residence of the tailless whip scorpions-
The tailless whip scorpions were lounging about after having dinner.
“ow!”
Then, the cats ca, inviting the tailless whip scorpions to join their post-al exercise.
*rustle rustle!*
“Oooow!”
(The Stuarts’ servants are heading for dinner about ow, so let’s go to the garden!) Chou-chan pushed the tailless whip scorpions out of the cave vigorously.
Under House Stuart Staff Union’s (mainly Martha’s) request to keep the tailless whip scorpions out of sight because of their appearance and gigantic size, the tailless whip scorpions were now living in their current cave.
“ow? oow!”
Ryuu-chan: (You will feel depressed if you shut yourself in the cave all the ti, right? Go out for walks once in a while!)
(Rustle rustle…)

(We stay inside the cave because we personally like it, though…)
(Nothing beats a comfy, humid space, though…)
The tailless whip scorpions thought so in their hearts, but ever since the day they t the cats, their instincts warned them never to go against the cats, so they could only obey honestly.
