lsa and the Cats [Part 2]
“AAAAAAGGGHHHHH!”
Kan-chan sprang at the intruder who climbed up the wall and was about to co down to the garden.
The wall surrounding the vast mansion ground of House Stuart was an imposing one with a height easily exceeding three ters. No one would climb it on a whim or by mistake. Those who ca from the wall and not through the gate were not guests but what you called thieves.
No thieves had broken into their house in Palace (even if one had, nothing would have been stolen), but in the last few weeks since they moved to the Royal Capital, rude people like this had appeared several tis.
“EEEEEEKKKKKK!? Blegh! Argh! Eeek! Monster! H-Help…”
The thief kept screaming because he was dragged down by Kan-chan and received a series of cat punches, several play bites, to another barrage of cat punches afterward.
Kan-chan seed to have gone easy on the intruder in his own way, so there probably wouldn’t be any serious injuries.
“Wait…! Blegh! Ugh! AHH! Eeek.”
Kan-chan would sotis give him a chance to escape, catch him back once he did, shower him with cat punches, play-bite him, and repeat again from the start.
“ow♡ ow♡ ow♡”
Kan-chan was completely having fun.
Life in the Royal Capital with no monster appearances, unlike Palace, seed sowhat unsatisfactory for Kan-chan, so the thieves that trespassed for once in a while made a good playmate.
Most mansion owners in the Nobles District hired many guards besides gatekeepers to keep an eye out for any intruders. Even the conspicuous mansions facing the main street had guards keeping surveillance, but the Stuart Mansion, which was located in a little more secluded place, didn’t have even one guard. It only had one past-middle-age gatekeeper.
The thieves, who broke in triumphantly while scorning that it was nothing more than the mansion of a country aristocrat who had just moved into the city, would later know by (harsh) experience why there were no guards.
“Ah, hey, you… Blegh! Argh! Help…! AACKK!”
The thief noticed lsa’s existence even when being played with by Kan-chan and stretched out his hand as if asking for help.
“Kan-chan.”

Kan-chan turned his face, still holding the thief in his mouth.
“After you’re done playing, make sure to send him to the gatekeeper, Evan-san.”

“Eh? H-Help? Eh? No way… Eek! EEEKKKK!”
lsa ignored the thief’s heartbreaking scream and resud patrolling with the other three cats beside Kan-chan.
Riding a cat could save her a lot of ti, but because their mansion land was very vast, a careful inspection would still take one or two hours.
On the mansion map she had prepared, she drew a mark on places that appeared damaged and needed repair that she found during the patrol.
All kinds of repairs were the job of Leonard, who had been a DIY master since their past life. He would help her with anything since he was very dexterous.

“C’mon, over here! Oops!”

lsa dodged nimbly before the cats caught the ribbon and twirled it around again.
The cats were serious, but it was 3 VS 1. lsa also went all out.
“Fufufu”
“ow!”
“C’mon, here, over here!”
“w♪”
“Uh-oh, close.”
“Ooow!”
The cats and lsa ran around the garden to make up for the daily lack of exercise.
She was embarrassed to show this side of herself to the family and servants, but she didn’t need to worry about people’s eyes in this vast garden.
“*pant pant* …should we take a little break?”
“ “ “ow!” ” ”
lsa lay on the lawn with Chou-chan as her pillow.
Koui lay on lsa’s tummy while Ryuu-chan lay on her feet as they both purred comfortably.
“It’s nice to spend the day like this once in a while.”
lsa whispered while hearing the thief’s miserable scream for being played with by Kan-chan in the distance.
“Alrighty, let’s play one more round?”
Break ti’s over! lsa grabbed the ribbon again.
“Hm?”
lsa thought the cats would definitely be attracted by her suggestion but received no response from them.
“Koui? Chou-chan? Ryuu-chan?”
The three cats pricked up their ears and stared in the direction of the gate.
“What’s wrong? Look, here’s the ribbon.”
Even when she twirled the ribbon around like earlier, the cats had zero reaction.
“Heeyyy…”
lsa’s ribbon drew an empty arc in the air.
“………”
“………”
“………！”
“ “ “ow♡” ” ”
“Ah, wait, heyyy!”
The three cats ran to the gate together at once.
“OOOOAAAARRGGGHHHHHHH!!!”
Furthermore, she could see Kan-chan rushing at full speed to the gate still with the thief in his mouth.
“Ah… It seems like the children are back from school.”
Even though they were having so much fun together, the cats had always been blunt with their top priority, that being the children.
With a lonely but happy feeling, lsa put away the ribbon silently.
