The next part of the journey is a bit problematic. We have to go through a swamp. Though I learned that there are no insects there, which would have been a nightmare, there are still swamp monsters present. So, if you are not alert and walk off the path, that could be the end of you.
So, one has to be always on alert about those swamp monsters.

What's with the won? Do they think that n are mind readers?
We can only know when they say it. They want us to know everything without revealing anything to us. Even when they do that, they would be cryptic or would say sothing opposite of what they want.
From what they said, we have to find out what they truly want. This is a very problematic thing.
I heard about the situations, but when in the academy, I didn't face such things. I thought people were exaggerating about this. I thought maybe a few were like that, but now I see how true that information was.
For whatever reason, the twins started to act like that a while, but I didn't pick that up. First, it was Angela, and then Celine too joined her, for whatever reason.
Hmm, this is a magic world. Maybe I should buy a mind-reading skill. Only then can I truly understand what they are trying to tell , or else I might one day end up in trouble.
Well, I did make a few mistakes, but I think that since this was just the start, there were no repercussions, or maybe I would face all of them later on.
Whatever the reason for the delay is, I don't think that this grace period will be for much longer. I need to find that damn mind skill as soon as possible.

Well, thinking about this, I chose the quest. So, are they blaming for choosing a quest that took us through swamps?
We intended to leave the Crystal City as things were getting a bit hotter at the mont there, and this was the only Carvan quest that was moving in the direction we wanted to.
You see, we planned that we intended to visit as much of the empire as possible.
The Crystal City could be said to be in the Eastern part of the empire, but it is in the northern side of the East. There is a port city in the southern area. We intended to take a ship when we returned to ho.
So, we decided to move west first, then to the south and then east again, but we would be to the south of the crystal city, where there is the port. From there, we would find a ship that would take us back to Glessaria.
This was the plan. So, I chose correctly when I chose this quest. Moreover, they both approved the quest, and there was not much information on the paper when we took the quest about the path we would be going through.
How could I have known about these swamps?
Moreover, they never said that they hated swamps. We passed a mini swamp back in Glessaria. Of course, we had mounts, but those were temporary mounts that we rented till we reached Reckless back then.
Hmm, wait maybe they want mounts? But where can I find so now?
Even if they have told that before, where can I buy three mounts that we can afford?
The mounts cost a lot. Moreover, if we want to use teleportation hubs, they would be an issue for us as teleporting a mount would make a hole in our pockets.
Of course, there are these space storages which can store live beings in them called Spirit Rings, but they to but them, we may have to sell ourselves.
When it cos to space storage devices, space bags are cheap, while space rings cost a lot, but these are just to store items that are not alive at that ti.
These space rings are rare and costly. So, from the information given about these special rings that can store living and breathing beings in them, one can easily estimate how rare and costly they would be.
When in the kingdom, I never heard about such things at all. Even the twins didn't. It was during our stay at the Crystal City that we ca into contact with such knowledge. This is why it is good to travel the world. There are many things that we can't co into contact with if we stayed in the small kingdom of Glessaria.
Even if we ca across such information, we wouldn't have any opportunities to get our hands on items like these Spirit Rings. Though we lack the funds at the mont to do so, one day we might be, as long as we make good money in the empire and do not lose that.
So, that can only be achieved much later.
Buying any mounts at this point would only be costly for us. So that was not a good option, though travelling might have beco easy for us, with those mounts.
It would cost us sothing that we don't possess at this mont. They should understand that point, right?
Aargh, this is driving nuts. I, for the love of god, can't figure out what they were trying to express. I may need that mind skill that can enable to read other people's minds as soon as possible. I should search for that when we reach our destination.

"Damn it, why are the swamp monsters are coming this way. Everyone, there are a lot of those monsters. Get ready for a long battle", the guard captain shouted, alerting everyone to face the monsters that were coming for us.
Ah, this is what I need. After that unnecessary ntal stress, I needed to beat up sothing, and these monsters make it perfect.
