Now that the loot was counted, I can see why many were swayed to kill others. The wealth would be very high without much risk to life, but that would be the only case as long as the targets you pick are weak and easy to kill.
If not, you would be one that ends up dead.

Also, even if you were not dead, if there was any evidence left behind or if there were any survivors, then that would be the end of you. After that, you would be wanted by the authorities and can never be really at peace or enjoy the delicacies.
Wait, that last part was wrong. I encountered a few bandits who enjoyed a lot of delicacies. Even though you were not allowed to enter cities, goods could be purchased through Black Market but the costs would be a bit higher than the original there.
It is the price one has to pay if they want to have sothing that they can't have. So, it is never a good idea to make a living by killing others. It's not a good job.
No one would know when you would get the money and when you would lose the money or life this way. To , it's not worth the effort but the problem was not everyone could think like , sotis they could not afford to.
It's not just greed that can lead down this road. Sotis, out of necessity one takes the road and then either they would be pushed into such a path forever or they would see that this path is much better than any other path and choose this.

It was still in the noon. So, first, we decided to have a light lunch and so rest before dark.
From what we gathered, the city would be best enjoyable in the evenings. There would be a lot to enjoy in the evening rather than at noon.
So, we decided to wait till the evening.
After such fights we had, we were hungry. So we ordered a light lunch for the ti. Even though we were hungry, we only needed to sate our hunger till evening.
We are going to spend outside in the evening and visit a lot of places. One of the places was the evening market.
This market opens every evening but today was the weekend and today there would extra. Normally it's Evening Market but today it is Weekend Market.
There would be a lot of food stalls and we intended to visit all if not most of them.
The foods that are available here differ very much from the kingdom. So, we intended to taste everything here and get to know the world a bit more.
I an, the empire is big and that ans there are many regions. Each region would have their own delicacies depending on where they were located.
If it was a seaport, there would be many marine foods.
Though Glessaria may have seaports and access to seafood, that doesn't an the food is the sa.
I an, not every sea monster lives in all areas. So are confined to certain areas and to get that particular monster food, one needs to go there.
This trade between nations but that doesn't an everything would be or can be traded with others. There are always restrictions either political or geographical.
I an, monster at like any other thing rots as ti goes on and preserving it would cost a lot. Even if preserved, if not fresh, the taste would be different.
So, even if they are available elsewhere, eating the food in the region where they were available locally would be great.
Moreover, as I said, food would be exported to other nations and that ans there is trade among various regions.
In this market, I may get a chance to enjoy so delicacies from faraway regions. If they were up to my taste, I could taste them again when I visit those regions.
So, we ate lightly and rested for a while till the sky turned dark.
