We have reached our first point of travel site. We are now in the Redthorne empire and can't like we used to in Glessaria. There would be a lot of powerhouses here in the empire. A small mistake can end our lives before we can blink.
So, we needed to move accordingly here.
Unlike the town Reckless in Glessaria kingdom, where the teleportation hub to the Redthorne Empire is located, the position where we arrived was not so border town, where not even crows would appear.
No, this is a bustling city, and the na of the city is Crystal City. The na ca to be as it is famous for its crystal mines, which are even exported to other nations.
This city is a big trade city and that is why connected to Glessaria.
Redthorne Empire does not need to worry that a small kingdom like Glessaria or other kingdoms would invade them. The kingdoms would be afraid of the empire, not in the reverse.
This is why, they placed the teleportation point in a major city.

"Ah, we have now reached the empire and we can start the tour. We would be able to see what we never could in the kingdom", I said to the girls inside one of the rooms that we rented at an Inn in Crystal City.
There was no need to leave as soon as we entered the city, after all, we ca here to learn more about the world. So might as well start from this city. It's not like we are fugitives here or technically from enemy nations.
If we were in the neighbouring kingdoms of Glessaria, then we might be hunted down, but here in the empire, we are one of many who enter the empire every day. We are no different from others who co to the empire for various purposes.
"So, what should we do first?" Celine popped the question.
Well, there are many things that we could do but I think that there is sothing that we have to do first and that is finding a way to earn money fast. Moreover, having identities from a small kingdom may not be enough to allow us to pass through certain places.
"Yes, there is sothing that we first have to do. We can see that the prices in the empire are very high. Whether it cos to resources or paying for a room in the Inn, the cost is very high. So, first, we need to find a source of inco".
"Second, our identities an nothing here. So, we need to get identities with respect to the empire. The only way to do both is by registering with the Adventurer's Guild".
"You should know, they would issue their own ID cards and they are not weaker than the empire's ID but there are levels that we need to achieve to receive such status. That is for our future to decide. For now, having an ID from the guild would enable to enter and leave cities easily", I said.
Both of them nodded, accepting what I said was true and should be first on the agenda.
"What you said is right. The prices of food and stay are way too high. If this is similar everywhere, then we might as well stay out in the wild and that is not a good thing. Staying outside for a few nights is okay but staying longer than that is not good for the ntal health", Celine spoke.
Huh, what would she say if I stayed in the wilds for months before entering the academy?
She may be horrified about my family's traditions, but what she said is true. Staying out there in the wild is not good for ntal health. I should make my family stop such a tradition. Instead of that, they should allow the family mbers to hunt outside and return whenever they want to.
Anyway, not everyone is following that tradition to the T. Many are sending protectors and make sure that their descendants would co out alive and also reach the peak of Tier-0, enough to say that they are worthy enough for the family to nurture.
Everyone knows what was happening but many kept silent about that. Only a few sent their children without any protection from outside mbers.
Since my father mostly controls the family, I should ask him to remove that as that beca redundant as many are faking it. No need to continue that anymore.

"Yeah, as adventurers we can take on missions to earn. Moreover, the guild is the best place to get information about the empire. Outside of guilds, only taverns would be the best place to get any info but most would be rumours", Angela said.
As soon as she said that, surprise took over and I looked at her with a questioning gaze. I wanted to know how she knew that much about taverns.
As ladies from a noble house, they wouldn't dream of going to a tavern. The only ladies that go there are adventurers. They need to vent out their stress after completing a mission and taverns are the best place.
So, whether it was a man or woman, it matters not. Every adventurer would be there, venting their frustrations, whether it was a difficult client or the monsters that they had to face while on a mission.
"I have friends you know and many are adventurers who frequent taverns. It was their opinion that most drunk idiots only exaggerate everything. When they say that they escaped from a giant monster that should be at least Tier-5, the most that the monster would be at Tier-3 and many monsters are normally huge when compared to humans", Angela said clearing my surprise.
"Okay, we should go and register ourselves tomorrow morning. For now, let's go to sleep", I spoke, making the girls stand up to go to their beds.
Well, Celine is but Angela is sharing with or should I say the opposite. The price at the Inn was too high. So we took a room with two separate beds.
One for Celine and the other for and Angela.
