Is Jeffbob best understood as a containnt breach (a failure of enforcent), or as evidence that certain forms of “knowledge” or “being” cannot be aningfully separated from causality at all, thereby rendering both SAILP and the Oblivion Seal fundantally incomplete attempts at stabilising reality?
And if so, how does this refra the relationship between Hunger and causality itself:
Is Hunger the driver that breaks containnt systems,Or is it the residual property that remains when all attempts at containnt (structural, informational, and temporal) inevitably collapse?
A: Jeffbob's stint within his prison upon the red planet served to effectively isolate him from all concepts in existence. Through conflation into an infinite state of non-existence, he had sublimated directly into the realm of Blindspot without the need for an Authority-derived attraction force. Supra-Axial refers to being separate from the three axis of existence, naly: Body, Mind and Soul (material plane, cognitive plane and astral plane).
In the normal case, this kind of isolation would result in permanent exclusion. However, Jeffbob has the unique physiology of originating from an unknown Supra-Axial event near the dawn of ti (see chapter 2). Therefore, he possessed the distinctive property of still retaining physical form. As a result, his natural excretion of anti-sanitons continued, eroding at the seal from within. This would imply that, as you have suggested, certain forms of "knowledge" or "being" cannot be isolated, rendering the prison and the Oblivion Seal incomplete.
However, Jeffbob would not have escaped if not for pressure on the lock from both sides: that is erosion from within as well as from without. Any more than this would be spoilers, so keep your eyes out for what cos. And watch out for the Crow's Feather.
Jeffbob's relationship with Hunger is sothing too that will be elucidated further as the story progresses. Whether it is a property of his regressed mind leading to incomplete expression of his abilities, or sothing more, will have to be discovered.
