After a short discussion, it was agreed that Alice would head to the Rhine Kingdom to deal with the matter regarding the Demon King. Then, Haydn ended the call in satisfaction.
anwhile, Alice sighed in relief when the call ended since the worst-case scenario did not happen. Out of the various scenarios she thought of, the worst would be if Haydn suggested receiving her in person and insisting on joining her in search of the Demon King. She would definitely have her work cut out if that happened.
Fortunately, it would seem that Haydn cherished his life quite well. After all, he looked like he still had many years left to live. Moreover, unlike Hatter, Haydn wasn't without a family. In such a situation, it was only natural that he wouldn't wish to get involved in a fight between the Hero and the Demon King. Alice sighed after putting her phone away. Although she had managed to cover things up this ti, it was best if she didn't make any more of such mistakes in the future. It's also fortunate their fear of the Demon King is preventing them from taking any aggressive actions. This ans that I won't have to worry about my actions in the tower getting exposed.
After checking the corridor's situation with her mana and verifying that nobody was outside, Alice walked out of the research room.
Although security in the tower will probably increase during this period, it's unlikely they'll suspect since I don't have any dark mana. Even if they do suspect , they won't find anything.

Since most, if not all, of these students, were using the internet with their mobile devices, the library was a ss of mana fluctuations. If she used her phone here, she could minimize the risk of the authorities taking notice of her. Although it was unlikely soone would suspect her even if she used her phone in a deserted location, it wouldn't hurt to be careful.
"Frosette, you should have information on the Royal Magic Tower's spy, right? Can you send it to ? I need it."
Frosette had most likely set Alice's number as a priority because it didn't take more than a minute before Alice received a reply from Frosette:
"Are you currently in the Royal Magic Tower, Lord Demon King? That place has strict security, so sneaking should have been quite difficult. As expected of you, Lord Demon King. I noticed you had applied for leave a few days ago, so I was wondering where you were going. I didn't think you would head to the Rhine Kingdom."
Frosette's ssage conveyed a clear sense of excitent and enthusiasm. However, Alice didn't mind it. After making small talk with Frosette, Alice quickly received the information she wanted.
