Jonas regarded Kim O'Hare carefully. While she looked like a pretty face, he could tell by the way she moved that she was probably more like him than anyone else here. He didn't rember too much about what was said when she was introduced, but he did rember sothing about her being a theif.

Jonas didn't try to do illegal stuff. Or at least most of the ti. However, sotis he'd get paid to do certain jobs. Though, mostly he worked as a bouncer here or there. Although, usually on the down-low, so whenever he'd get pulled into a fight, he'd get arrested with all the others.

He wondered how the guards would react when they did a head count and couldn't find him. He certainly wouldn't appear on the caras leaving, so as far as they'd be concerned, he should still be in his cell. If he was ever able to get back, he wondered how amused he'd be to learn just how freaked out they'd have gotten because of that.

Regardless, he turned back to Kim after taking a fourth dagger for himself. "So, what are the rest of our team going to need?"

"I assu they'll both be mages, so maybe a staff for each of them," Kim replied.

"Wait, you don't know what a dungeon crawl is, but you know mages work with staves?"

"I have a brother who likes fantasy stuff, so I occasionally hear a few things from him. Why? Are dungeon crawls related to those?" Kim asked.

Jonas shook his head. Her explanation makes sense, but it still baffled him. "Well, never mind then," Jonas replied. Sotis it's better to just drop a subject than to try and explain it. It'll just make you have a bigger headache than before.

"So, let's see what armor they have," Kim comnted, after having collected the first two staves she ca across.

"What armor do you think you want?" Jonas asked curious. He'd already put on so leather armor, which he thought at least looked more comfortable than the bucksin clothing they had available.

"Probably this armor," Kim said, as she examined a suit of full plate armor.

"Well, if you want that, you probably should get a few other pieces to wear under it," Jonas replied.

"aning?"

"Like a suit of chainmail first. I an, in all the movies I've seen, when you see soone with that kind of armor on, they generally have chainmail under it. My guess is the armor is so effective because it's layered on other armor. Kind of stacking bonuses there."

"Alright, I guess I'll try that," Kim replied. Then suddenly she asked a question that caught Jonas completely off guard. "Have you looked at your stats for your system yet?"

Jonas shook his head. "No, I figure I can do that later. Besides, what good would it do?"

"Well, it could let you know if what equipnt you're thinking of might not be as good as you think," Kim replied. "Who's to say with these systems. I an, I certainly haven't heard of them before this."

Jonas had to admit she had a point. "Status," he said, no caring if he was in anyone's way as the screen appeared in front of him.

You have 5 attribute points to allocate. Would you like to place them?

Jonas looked at his stats a little confused. It didn't look like he'd gotten much that would make him as useful in combat as he'd thought. After all, in all the gas he'd seen, rogues could be rather deadly in combat, but he only had one skill for combat.

What the fuck was that about? He asked himself.

Sighing, he knew he'd need an in depth analysis on this. "Tutorial," he said.

A most unpleasantly chipper voice said in his mind.

"Please explain to why I only have one combat skill?" Jonas asked.

Jonas sighed when the chipper voice stopped. "Is there any skill I can get that will give more skills to use in combat?"

"What skill can I learn that I don't have?" Jonas asked.

Just great, Jonas thought to himself. "Well, what can you tell about the abilities I do have anyway?"

"I don't need to know about that. Just tell about the skills," Jonas interrupted the voice. He had a fair idea of what the stats were about and if he was mistaken, he was sure he'd be able to figure it out on his own. At the very least, he didn't care to waste his ti listening to the voice go on about details he couldn't truly care less about.

"So, where can I find a list of abilities and skills I can learn?" Jonas asked, hoping he thought of a way past the system's reluctance to tell him anything important.

Jonas chuckled to himself at that response. It certainly was a reponse, only it wasn't one that would ever be of any use to him. Especially since he didn't know what world that was controlling this... whatever it was.

However, he couldn't do anything about the abilities he had, so he decided to allocate his attribute points. It was at least sothing he could do at the moont. He put 2 points on his Agi, 1 on his Vit, 1 on his Wis, and 1 on his Dex. Which he noticed raised his MP to 18 and his stamina to 10.

As he was finishing up, he sayw Kim finish collecting the armor she'd selected, but she then wanted to pick out a tower shield. Jonas sighed in annoyance at how long she was taking. He understood being prepared, but this was just wasting his ti in his opinion.

When Kim finally made a decision, he couldn't help but ask, "So, will you lead to the rest of our group now?

Kim looked at Jonas looking rather irritated with him. "Fine, I guess I can show you. Keep in mind, however, Our team isn't controlled by just one person. We'll decide on things as a team rather than whoever is the most popular on the team," Kim remarked.

Jonas could only shake his head in annoyance. Kim certainly was one to clearly speak her mind, even if part of that ca out only in how she said the words as well as what words she chose to use.
