Chapter 20 – Business (2)
The boys were still better behaved, the girls started shouted at her right away. Especially the two girls that ca with Wang Haoxue, they cursed that she’d gain a ridiculous amount of weight.
Proudly, Wang Haoxue put her hands on her waist and said, “That is fine. I don’t mind getting fat for yummy food!”
Everybody was so upset they’d throw their arms around Su Tian and cry if they could.
Su Tian’s eyes dashed around. She was trying very hard to distract herself so she didn’t burst out laughing. Wang Haoxue was being so an....
When Wang Haoxue finally had her fun and seeing that everybody else was about to explode, she finally kindly dragged over Su Tian and opened up the bags, “Dong dong dong dong ~~ I was just kidding lah. HAHAHAHA.”
Along with her maniacal laugh, two whole cheesecakes appeared in front of everybody.
A loud screech could be heard from the classroom.
A few girls broke their poise and ran over to smack Wang Haoxue, while a few others dashed over and threw their arms around Su Tian, “Tiantain, fatty Wang was too an. You shouldn’t hang out with her any more, it will rub off on you!”
Su Tian smiled and said yes. Everybody’s hearts ached when they saw that. Aiya, this new girl has such good temperant, and was so nice to everyone. Would she get walked all over in the future?
Everybody was worried sick for Su Tian all of a sudden.
Su Tian brought with her a cake knife and so small plates; she sliced the cake up with Wang Haoxue and gave each student a small slice.
Two cheesecakes weren’t too much, and there were so 40 students in class. Each cake had to be divided into 20 slices, aning each person would really get about 2-3 bites... errr, maybe not even one bite for the boys.
A girl who got the cake first tried a bite and almost jumped into the air in excitent, “Oh my God! Oh my God! This is SOOOooo good! And here I thought fatty Wang was just exaggerating. Now I knew she wasn’t, this is DELICIOUS!”
“Really? Really?”
“Let try! Let try!”
“Tiantian, I am next. You don’t need anymore, you are already fat.”
“So what if I am fat? Don’t fat people have rights too?”
“Sure they have rights, just not the rights to more desserts!”
“UGH!”
“....”
More chattering noises from inside the classroom, even the boys nodded after they have tried it. It was good, unlike the cake from the bakery that was there before. Those cakes had been horribly sweet along with the sll of cheap vanilla extract. This was genuine and rich, milky taste of cheese with a hint of li.
There were only three slices left, one belonged to Wang Haoxue, who had been drooling this whole ti. She took a small bite and was so touched that she almost cried. That was how she rembered it, the tiramisu was so good it made her want to cry.
Su Tian picked up one of the two remaining slices and placed it in front of Liu Kaiyan. Smiling, she said to him, “Okay, so you don’t want your basketball back, but you want to have so cake, right?”
Liu Kaiyan looked up and his eyes flickered.
When she was dishing out the cake, she never ntioned him, he thought....
So she was not mad at him.
The slice of cake in front of him was just a sliver, but it was radiating a warm, yellowish glow. She was smiling at him, her eyes curved; her eyelashes long and thick, almost as warm as the cake.
A little embarrassed, he looked away, took the cake from her and said, “Thank you.”
Su Tian said, “You are welco. Try it quickly, it won’t taste as good after a while.”
After she was done saying that she turned around and returned to chitchatting with Wang Haoxue.
