Five years have passed since the Blood Moon appeared in the sky. Many things had happened during this period, but no event in that ti was big enough compared to the grand battle he had with the Blood Fiend Palace to rescue the helpless mortals.

At that ti, he managed to help millions of mortals from becoming sacrifices, bringing them to a safe place under his territory, and then left the rest of the work to his employees.

The number of people he saved seed to be high on the surface, but compared to those he couldn't manage to save, this was only a speck of dust.

He was quite gloomy after the event, thinking about the billions of lives he could not save. He did not bla himself for their fate; he had long known the rule of life—the suffering and death were the cost of living. It was their fault for being weak, not his fault that he could not save them.

He just regretted that he should have seen it coming, but he had not—with his system and the tools it provided, which could have prevented such unimaginable cruelty from happening, but he had failed.

Fortunately, this cruelty happened to others, not his people. If it had, that would have been totally his fault.

This event benefited him as well, allowing him to learned sothing significant, and it transford his company for the better—making it more functional without him to back it up too much.

What he learned was that relying on the Dinsional Map for information was a bad idea. It helped him see the big picture—literally the big picture—but he could not purely rely on it for intelligence. The deep insight, the confidential intelligence of the enemy, could not co that easily.

He alone could not handle everything; he needed soone who could focus on the task—an expert for such a specialized job.

With that idea in mind, he fully supported Xiaorong's intelligence departnt, transforming a small agency into a top-tier spy organization equipped with the surplus resources and secret techniques he developed specifically for spying.

The result was fantastic.

Xiaorong's intelligence departnt produced powerful cultivators who specialized in spying in a short amount of ti, capable of fighting and hiding in enemy territory without being detected, and providing useful information back gradually.

This made the Endless Wealth Company's intelligence departnt fully functional, no longer just relying on his dinsional map for information.

His employees alone were enough to be a vital intelligence force in the total war against the Blood Fiend Palace, as his company was the only one capable of infiltrating enemy ranks without being caught.

The Xia Clan and the alliance could not have done this well against the Blood Fiend Palace over the past years without intelligence from the EID agency that had been hiding within the enemy's territory.

He applied the sa mindset to nearly everything.

He started focusing on developing capable individuals, selecting those with potential talent, and supporting them to reach their full potential. He no longer remained passive and allowed employees to improve themselves aimlessly; he stepped in and lifted them up.

Hengsheng put away the pen as he finished his diary note.

Day 6,000

Milestone Detected: 1,000 days Sign-In [6th]

Reward: Skill Scroll—The Fiend Slaying Sword (Tier 7) (x1)

[Accept Reward] / [Convert to System Points]

Oh! Yes, finally! The attack-type skill scroll!

Hengsheng was very happy after he accepted the reward. This was the third ti he had obtained a skill scroll.

The first one was Pure Sun, a skill that had a purification effect, which he had not used yet since it had to be used at the right ti.

The second was the reward from the day 5,000 milestone—a skill scroll used for defensive purposes. He also had not used it, since he had not faced any threat that forced him to use such a valuable thing.

But the attack-type skill scroll was different; he could use it whenever he felt like he was fed up with an annoying enemy, without regretting it later! He had wanted to test these skill scrolls for a long ti—this must be the shot!

Hengsheng opened the Dinsional Map and began to select a target for testing the skill scroll. He was thinking about killing one of the Blood Fiend Palace's experts—soone with the sa strength as the wicked woman who had been eaten alive by Yunsu. If it were used against soone weaker than that, it would be a waste.

While scrolling through the map, looking for a suitable target to kill, he also observed the war situation in the north.

The situation favored the Xia Clan and the Continent Alliance; they were at an advantage. They had a much higher win rate on the battlefield whenever the two sides clashed. This great result was thanks to the information he had provided.

Even though they had not yet reached the Blood Fiend Palace's main base, which held the Altar of the Blood Moon, due to the enemy’s defensive position advantage, they were still pushing forward. The war would soon co to an end.

"Oh? Interesting..." Hengsheng murmured as sothing on the map caught his attention.

Hengsheng zood in on the Dinsional Map as he noticed soone in action, fighting a demonic expert. It was a man who had been famous long before Hengsheng even ca to this realm, and recently, he had made a na for himself once again through his rits in the war—this guy nad Ji Wushuang.

The sharp sword qi cut through the air as the demonic expert barely dodged, leaving a small wound on his neck. His expression turned fearful, and he began to flee—despite having a much higher cultivation realm, a whole major realm above his opponent.

"That's amazing. The world really lacks no genius," Hengsheng murmured. He could not help but admire the Silver Head's sword skill. Remind him of his old friend, Jian Zixuan.

This Ji Wushuang was only at the early stage of the Spirit Integration Realm, yet he had strength equal to a middle or even high-stage Grand Unity expert. Such a feat could only belong to the heavenly-defying genius.

"How did he even manage to achieve such strength?" Hengsheng puzzled. He knew how hard it was to reach such power. If he didn't have a system, he had no idea how he was going to achieve his current strength.

Hengsheng thought this guy must have a secret. He shook his head and chuckled at his silly thought; he was thinking like a third-rate villain—an idiot who died early in the story because they ssed with the protagonist.

Of course, this guy had a secret—everyone else did too.

He thought that once his cultivation realm was stable, he would try to recruit this guy to join his company. He had heard that this guy had not joined any faction yet.

After all, who wouldn’t want a talented person to join their group?

He stopped paying attention to this guy and then zood out the dinsional map, resud his search for the unfortunate target.

Hengsheng’s eyes were now on the Blood Moon Altar—the place where the war had begun. Currently, five experts with the sa strength as that wicked woman were guarding the altar. Four of them were the sa ones who had been there when he last visited; the fifth was a newcor, replacing the woman Yunsu had killed.

Hengsheng couldn’t help but wonder—just how many top-tier experts did the Blood Fiend Palace have, that they could so easily replace one whenever another fell?

Hengsheng thought this might be a good opportunity. Since all five experts were gathered in one place, he could use the skill scroll to wipe them out at once. Would that be enough to bring the war to an early end?

He reread the skill scroll’s description one more ti. It said a divine sword would materialize and automatically move to slay any fiends within its area of effect.

“That’s good—it can target multiple enemies,” Hengsheng muttered with a wicked grin.

At first, he hadn’t cared much about this demonic faction. But after personally witnessing their horrific cris, hatred had taken root. It was the kind of hatred an ordinary person might feel toward a distant country's dictator.

Hengsheng was prepared to use the skill scroll, but suddenly, a better idea flashed through his mind.

Wouldn't it be even better if I just nuked the Blood Fiend Palace’s true main base instead?

Thinking this, he quickly scrolled across the Dinsional Map, shifting focus from the northern battlefield to a faraway continent—the Blood Origin Continent.

This massive landmass was veiled in perpetual darkness. Even during the day, only dim light pierced the heavy gloom. The mortals living there were nothing more than livestock—resources, just like those he had saved years ago.

He ignored all distractions, searching intently for the Palace’s true headquarters. But to his disappointnt, there wasn’t just one. Multiple locations were heavily guarded, each hosting top-tier experts. Killing them all at once was impossible.

“I shouldn’t be greedy. Let’s just focus on my continent,” Hengsheng muttered, giving up on the idea. He scrolled back to the five unfortunate experts guarding the Blood Moon Altar.

He retrieved the skill scroll from his item storage—then tore it without hesitation.
