"NO! This can't be—the Grand Elder is dead!" shouted the demonic cultivator who witnessed the scene of Hanbing being eaten alive.
All the demonic cultivators who were staying at their posts to secure the ritual were shocked.
The scene of the Grand Elder, Hanbing, the Grand Elder who was trusted by the Palace to oversee the Great North Region, being devoured by a demon cat, burned into their minds like a nightmare.
"Impossible…!" another elder muttered, his voice trembling.
"Retreat! Retreat now!" soone shouted, panic spreading like wildfire.
"Do not retreat! Continue to secure the ritual! Other Grand Elders are coming!" the very recently forr manservant of Hanbing, who was second in command of this place, shouted.
"RAWRRRR!!!" Yunsu roared, her voice echoing across the heavens. The shockwave alone sent hundreds of thousands of weaker demonic cultivators crashing to the ground.
Her fur blazed with Divine Snow Fla, and her massive wings stretched wide, casting a shadow over the blood altar. She intentionally intimidated them, drawing the attention of those who were chasing after her human to herself.
The forr manservant felt the demon cat’s gaze lock onto him. A chill ran down his spine as the horrifying image of Grand Elder Hanbing being devoured replayed in his mind.
"Abandon your positions—kill that beast first!" he roared, panic lacing his voice.
"Avenge the Grand Elder!" His earlier orders were completely reversed. He didn't care about the ritual anymore. If everyone focused on the demon cat, his own chances of survival would rise.
Many demonic cultivators hesitated in confusion, but ultimately obeyed the senior’s orders. They abandoned their positions in the sky, leaving the area unmanaged, which gave the mortals below a chance to escape.
The multi-million cultivator moved through the sky. This scene was very terrifying. Everyone with knowledge in the cultivation world knows that those who can soar through the sky are at least in the True Body Realm. And these millions of them were now moving in unison to fight a single enemy.

"RAWRRRR!!!" Yunsu roared. Facing the million Qi projectile attacks, she opened her jaws and devoured them, turning the enemy Qi into her own and then returning it to the enemy. The massive beast ball condensed in her jaw and fired at the mass of demonic cultivators!
The demonic cultivators did not stay idle, letting themselves be annihilated; they cast a spell in unison, they joined the battle formation. The Spiritual Qi of the millions of demonic cultivators surged and rged, forming an image of a gigantic blood fiend in the sky.
The gigantic blood fiend’s appearance was very intimidating. A humanoid creature with one head, one pair of legs, and two pairs of arms. And it was made entirely of crimson blood.
Its head was an empty face—no eyes, no ears, no nose—only a massive maw that had countless sharp teeth lined up in multi-layered rows within it and one pair of great demon horns above the head, a long demonic claw, and nurous blood spikes protruding from its body.
This was not a true Blood Fiend, only its image, an incomplete image of its true appearance, created from the Spiritual Qi of a million demonic cultivators.
Although personal power reigned supre in the cultivation world, the strength in numbers was not completely useless. The power of a million demonic cultivators was imnse and could not be underestimated.
The image of the Blood Fiend's hand stretched toward the incoming beast ball. A massive swirling ball of blood ford and was fired instantly.
The two massive ball-type attacks collided midway between the two gigantic creatures.
BOOM!
The resulting explosion spread over a long distance of more than 100 kiloters. The mortals who still survived but were unlucky enough to be within this range were imdiately vaporized.
Not only the mortals who were affected by the clash between the two giants, but the demonic cultivators who did not join the battle formation also faced the sa fate. Their fate was more painful than that of mortals, who died instantly. These demonic cultivators experienced burning before they died.
Yunsu was hurled backward. She constantly flapped her massive wings to stabilize herself in the sky while gazing at the Blood Fiend, a hiss rising in her throat.

The crimson beam tore through everything in its path—the atmosphere, even space itself, exposing the void that resided behind the fabric of reality—as it moved toward the demon cat.
No ti to think, Yunsu imdiately brought out the strongest move she could at this mont. The white fla surged and gathered in one spot within her paws.
Utilizing her understanding of the Dao of Five Phases and Evolution, she temporarily turned the Divine Snow Fla into sothing greater—the Divine Winter Fla!
The white fla transford. Shades of grey and silver appeared within the pure white fla, and the coldness it emitted drew closer to absolute zero—the state that only the void could achieve!
Yunsu thrust her paws forward, unleashing the torrent of winter flas. As it surged ahead, the ray froze everything in its path, leaving behind a trail of blackness. This strange phenonon occurred because light also had been frozen!
The Crimson Beam and the White Fla Torrent clashed!
At the point of impact, the weak worldly laws instantly collapsed.
The two powers pushed each other back and forth, neither yielding. Nuclear explosions erupted continuously due to the violent collision of powerful energies.
Yunsu's paws burned from her own power. She wasn't injured since she continued to recover without stopping, but it consud her energy at a rapid rate. This was dangerous!
She sensed the opposing force was greater than hers. She clearly felt her fla torrent was being pushed back slowly.
If this continued, she would lose!
With that thought, she poured more Qi into the fla. Imdiately, the torrent of fla grew larger!
The white fla torrent imdiately gained more power and began to push the crimson ray back. This caused many demonic cultivators to cough up blood because of the sudden shift in balance.
The forr manservant quickly commanded the others to put more power in the battle formation.
The next mont, just like the fla torrent earlier, the crimson ray imdiately beca more powerful and bigger, quickly cutting through the fla torrent straight toward the demon cat!
"OW!!!" Yunsu scread as she saw she was about to lose. She didn’t want to get hurt!
But she wouldn’t get hurt—there was soone who would never let anyone harm this demon cat.
SHING!
A golden light beam shot in from another spot, striking the Blood Fiend’s image!
BOOM!
"AHHH!" so of the demonic cultivators scread in pain before their bodies exploded.
The power of the battle formation montarily diminished due to the ambush from another enemy. The crimson ray lost its strength to the white fla torrent and was imdiately overwheld!
BOOM!
The forr manservant's expression turned pale. He quickly commanded the battle formation to retreat before putting up a blood veil barrier to block the beam attack from both sides.
"What are you doing?! Hundreds of you can't keep one man in check?!" the forr manservant shouted in anger at the hundreds of demonic experts who were chasing after Hengsheng.
"He is too fast, it's hard to catch him!" one of the demonic experts replied while continuing the chase.
The battle between the two colossal beings in the sky and the relentless pursuit below raged on.
The situation had reached a deadlock—neither side could gain the upper hand. The giants could not destroy one another, and the demonic experts failed to catch up with their target.
Until a new player descended onto the field.
Hengsheng, who had a [Traveler Perk], highly sensitive to fluctuations in space-ti, suddenly sensed a rupture in the distance. His gaze snapped toward the disturbance.
From the torn gap in space, four figures stepped out. A chill ran down Hengsheng’s spine—he could imdiately sense it.
Their cultivation was in the sa realm as that wicked woman who had been devoured alive by Yunsu: Half-Step Dao Treader Experts!
Hengsheng knew his ti in this place was over. If he did not leave before these four moved, his life would be at risk, but before he went, he had to save as many mortals as he could!
