Chapter 205: Seven Emotions

Translator: Larbre Studio Editor: Larbre Studio

At ten o’clock at night, strong winds blew in the dark night of Undai District.

Kimura Kazuki casually took a stroll to the street, which Ikioi Ito brought him to two days ago. At one glance, Mitsue Natsu was there setting up a food stall as expected. The number of people in line was a lot more than before.

Mitsue Natsu and Kumoko both noticed him as he walked near.

Mitsue Natsu looked slightly stunned when he saw Kimura Kazuki, all he could do was smile and nod as a sign of respect to him. He thought that Kimura Kazuki was going to ask for his help again as before. Right when he wanted to ask for his order, Kimura Kazuki simply found a seat and sat down.

Mitsue Natsu then patted Kumoko’s head.

Kumoko nodded obediently, she then ca to Kimura Kazuki’s side timidly and asked him with a clear and guileless voice, “Big brother, would you like to have sothing to eat?”

After hesitating for a short mont, Kimura Kazuki made the sa order as before. He could not just sit here and wait, that would be silly.

“Okay.” Kumoko smiled, showing her white teeth as she skipped her way back.

Looking at Kumoko’s petite figure from the back, Kimura Kazuki sighed slightly. If it was not for Ikioi Ito ntioning it by chance last ti that Kumoko was only seven or eight years old when she died, he really could not find anything suspicious on her. She looked just like a teen at the age of around 13 or 14 now.

As for the reconstruction of the apparition, it was definitely one of Mitsue Natsu’s tricks. That was why Kimura Kazuki was not too surprised even if it was just the first ti for him when he visited the last ti. There are way too many mysterious artifices in this world. He would not dig through other people’s secrets. But this ti... Kimura Kazuki looked at Mitsue Natsu with deep thoughts going through his mind, visible in his eyes.

When the custors had all left in the middle of the night, Kimura Kazuki remained alone on his seat. He watched as Mitsue Natsu started to clean up with no intention of offering him a helping hand.

Half an hour later, Kimura Kazuki returned to Mitsue Natsu’s house, the sa room as before. He glanced at Kumoko, who was next to Mitsue Natsu, sitting in a well-behaved manner. Noticing his gaze, he caressed Kumoko’s head and asked her to go play with Little Cart in her room.

After Little Cart and his daughter left the room, his eyes were filled with curiosity when he said, “Master Kimura, who are you looking for this ti... Still the sa person as last ti?”

Kimura Kazuki lightly placed the Sun and Moon Sword in his hands onto the table. He said with a faint expression, “Tell , what is your relationship with Natsuna Yamanaka?”

Mitsue Natsu looked puzzled upon hearing that, “Who is Natsuna Yamanaka?”

“Natsu-san, don’t think of people as fools.” Kimura Kazuki’s tone turned cold as he tossed the rhombus-shaped black gem onto the table, “You recognize this, don’t you?”

A slight quiver flashed through the depths of his eyes the mont Mitsue Natsu saw the rhombus-shaped black gem. It looks like Natsuna Yamanaka is already dead. He held the rhombus gem for inspection, without a change of expression. “I really have no idea about this,” said Mitsue Natsu with a wry smile.

Kimura Kazuki looked at him, then gazed down at the Sun and Moon Sword on the table expressionlessly. His voice turned cold, the atmosphere in the room beca serious. “Natsu-san, it seems like you don’t know well enough. Since I am here showing this to you, I am already quite sure about so facts. If you are unable to provide with an explanation regarding this matter, your fate will be death, there will be no other possibilities. As for the matter of killing you, it wouldn’t be my concern whether if it’s accidental or not.”

Mitsue Natsu’s expression finally changed as he heard that. He stared at Kimura Kazuki, not looking too well he murmured in a low voice, “Master Kimura, I really don’t have any idea of what this is! I am not sure what you have investigated, maybe it was related to , but I have been spending ten years working diligently at my stall. Throughout those tis, I have also accepted requests from the Deity Rising Palace along with other personal requests, but those were all errands to trace for people, I wasn’t involved in any other acts... You can’t just co to a conclusion about just because of one incident! I have my daughter, and I love her very much. Why would I do sothing to harm others?”

“You do love your daughter very much.” Kimura Kazuki nodded. He then laughed coldly when he saw that Mitsue Natsu’s expression turned better, “But it is also your love for your daughter, which drove you into ordering Natsuna Yamanaka to gather fear emotions by killing people! Aside from Natsuna Yamanaka, there might even be other wraiths.” He took a glance at Mitsue Natsu’s face, which stiffened, “Am I right, Natsu-san?”

Kimura Kazuki looked him in the eyes, but he did not answer. Kimura Kazuki grabbed the rhombus-shaped gem from the table and pinched it lightly with his two fingers. Black smoke rose into the air, followed by a screeching voice filled with fear, vanishing into thin air within five seconds.

Mitsue Natsu’s face twitched as he was devastated to see that.

“Your purpose of setting up a stall every day was to collect the Seven Emotions with the help of Tsukumogami’s powers,” said Kimura Kazuki. “However, there is not much fear. Fear is an exceptional emotion, it would only be spread from humans when they experience sothing which could really make them lose their tranquillity. The people who visit your stall every day, so may have been living quite a tough life, but all you could have gathered was none other than joy, anger, sorrow, love, vice, and lust. Fear is definitely a rare find.”

“You were reluctant to track soone for the last ti I requested because it would require the emotion of fear.” Two days ago, Mitsue Natsu asked him to select a specific emotion as it would speed up the process of tracking for a person. Yet when he chose ‘fear,’ he noticed that Mitsue Natsu frowned, showing signs of unwillingness.

He did not think it through back then, but it now it seed like ‘fear’ was a limited emotion. This emotion appeared important to Mitsue Natsu, but with regards to his power, Mitsue Natsu had no other choice but to help.

Mitsue Natsu’s heart was shaken, but he remained still as he laughed helplessly, “Master Kimura, you must be joking. Why would I want to gather emotions like fear... About what happened two days ago, I was just recalling sothing disturbing, which made unwilling, it was not because of you.”

Kimura Kazuki overlooked his words. “Why? It is for the sake of your daughter, of course. I was told that your daughter was only six or seven when she died? How did she grow into a child of 13 or 14 years of age?”

“There are many unexplained mysteries everywhere in this huge world. My daughter’s spirit is rather unique, it can grow as ti goes by.”

Kimura Kazuki got tired at this point. He squinted at Mitsue Natsu, “It looks like you are quite stubborn.” He was fed up with the conversation. The Sun and Moon Sword on the table transford into a three-inch sword.

At the sa ti, Mitsue Natsu struck his right hand toward the teapot at the center of the table and left the room.

“Where is Kumoko?” he looked at Little Cart outside the door and asked in a low voice.

“I have already put her to sleep.”

“Go be on guard at where the formation is.” Mitsue Natsu glared into the room with a vicious look.

“Yes,” Little Cart answered as he transford into a ray of light and teleported into the room.

Looking at the situation now, Mitsue Natsu sighed internally. He stood by the door and looked at Kimura Kazuki inside the room, his eyes filled with convolution, “Master Kimura... All I wanted was to fulfill my duties as a father. I don’t care whether my love for my daughter changes or whether it causes harm to other people. I have already co this far, and there is no way for to turn back!”
