Just then, soone from the [Crimson Academy] reached Raye!
He was glaring at Raye with bloodshot eyes!

The guy swung his sword at Raye horizontally with all of his might.

And Raye just watched him do that in silence!
'Idiot.'
He said in his head.
And before the enemies' blade could even reach him...
SLASH—!
"KEUK?!"
Leon appeared from his left side and imdiately slashed down the student that was targeting him!
Thud-
The enemy fell onto the ground, unmoving.
And soon...

His body started turning to dust-like particles too.
"Thanks."
Raye said, looking at Leon with a smile.
And looking back at him...
"Ugh, you're still such a dickhead. You could've just eliminated him yourself."
Leon grumbled that with a frown on his face.
"Hey, I'm tired from fighting Ignis. Give a break."
Raye then replied, shrugging his shoulders too. His tone was even sarcastic.
Though, he actually feels a little weak because he's currently low on mana.
Anyway...
"Whatever."
Leon just mumbled that.
"Then just stay here."
He said.
And without waiting for Raye's response...

He dashed back to where Lycus and Allen are.
The two of them were fighting off six students on their own!
Then, not far from him...
"Yep, we're done here."
Raye also saw Lena casting a wide-area lightning spell!

Just a couple of minutes had passed...

And Lycus had already killed their last enemy by beheading him!

The head of student from the [Night Academy] fell and rolled on the ground.

His body beca dust-like and disappeared all in all.
He was eliminated.
'This artifact's power is really overpowered and strange. If not for the restriction that one can't re-enter the Training Do for a week after having died inside of it, this artifact can literally make you immortal.'
Raye thought, seeing the last student from the other academies get sent out of the Northern Forest.

Raye said in his head, noticing their gazes.
And even though he said that, he actually knows what's next.

"We already won, we'll be contacted by the academy staff soon and be guided back to the entrance of the forest."

And hearing his words...
"Mhm."
The others just accepted his words and nodded their heads!
'Well, at least they trust .'
Raye thought with a smile.
And suddenly...
"Why did those guys ambushed us anyways?"
Allen asked that.
The other three beca curious as well, and they all glanced at Raye again!
"Ugh..."
Raye frowned, seeing that.
But opening his mouth...
"They were trying to steal our points by targeting the proofs that we took from the monsters we killed on the first day."
He still answered Allen's question.
"Huh? That works?"
Lycus followed, slightly surprised.
And while nodding his head...
"Yeah, stealing points from other teams is possible. Ignis noticed that fact and banded everyone from the other academies to turn against us, they didn't hunt on the first day, they were all just preparing to rob us."
Raye responded.
"They also want to eliminate us. For so reason, the students from the other academies are targeting us, the Zion Academy."
He added.
"Hmm... It's probably because they want to dethrone Zion as the most prestigious academy in the empire."
Lena mumbled.
"Could be."
Raye casually replied.
And then...
"Ehh, who cares. We should just rest now."
Leon just muttered that.

Everyone looked at him, hearing his words.
He was sitting comfortably on a tree stump.

The others just shrugged and started finding a place for them to sit on.

The staff thought as she saw Raye and the others looking at her, unsurprised.
Anyway, opening her mouth...
"I'm here to guide you back to the entrance of the forest now."
She said that.
And silently...

Raye and the others just stood up, not questioning anything!
"..."
The academy staff found this weird, but she didn't put much thought into it.
'Whatever... My only job is to guide them back.'

She said in her head before turning around and started walking away.

Raye and the others followed after her imdiately.
And as they were walking...
"Ugh, finally... I don't want to sleep in the forest again for the second ti."
Allen mumbled that.

The others just silently agreed with him.
'The bugs are annoying and the ground is uneven, it's uncomfortable to lie on.'
Raye thought.
Even though he lives at the entrance of the Northern Forest, he still sleeps in a comfortable place—in Old Man Rey's cabin.
