Chapter 511: Chapter 511 - Fierce Master-1

After assessing Zhang Xian, the woman nodded.

The others, unable to understand the conversation between Zhang Xian and the woman, imdiately started to chatter on.

Zhang Xian stood aside, bitter laugh showing. He really wasn’t fond of the feeling of not understanding what everyone else was talking about. Fortunately, there was no sign of hostility from them.

"Co inside with !"

The woman looked at Zhang Xian, turned around, and walked towards a nearby hut.

Zhang Xian nodded and followed her.

As they passed the gate, he glanced inside and was sowhat surprised. The main house housed not just one coffin, but three, all lined up side by side.

"Yesterday, like you, two people ran over after hearing the sound here. I’ll take you to them," the woman said.

Zhang Xian smiled and asked, "Sister, while passing by just now, I noticed there were three coffins in the house. Is this a tradition or did three people die?"

"Three people died in one day, all young and strong n." The woman sighed.

Zhang Xian asked, "What happened?"

"Sothing happened in the village." The woman replied, "Co in first!"

Zhang Xian frowned and followed her inside.

When they reached a small room on their right, he saw two won were chatting inside.

One of the won was around thirty, she had a sweet look, her black hair was coiled up at the back of her head into a bun. Her movents and deanor emitted a mature charm.

The other was slightly younger, around twenty, pure and lovely, shy as a budding flower.

"Master Jing Yi, Miss Luo Shuining, this man is also a foreigner. I’ve brought him to chat with you," the woman said, smiling as she walked into the small house.

Jing Yi looked up, her sowhat cold eyes piercing Zhang Xian as if trying to see through him.

Luo Shuining also looked at Zhang Xian, but her gaze was filled with pure curiosity.

"Uh, hello, Master Jing Yi! Miss Luo Shuining!" Zhang Xian moved forward and bowed his hand in greeting, smiling as he did so.

The two attractive won in front of him may have been unfamiliar but seed to be extrely capable. Master Jing Yi had already reached the Post Acquired Peak, and Miss Luo Shuining was fast approaching it.

Jing Yi nodded without saying more.

Luo Shuining blinked her big eyes, her cute face turning slightly red as she asked, "What... What’s your na? Why didn’t you introduce yourself?"

"Uh..." Zhang Xian saw Luo Shuining’s shyness, he rubbed his nose and laughed, "Well, my na is Zhang Xian, ’Xian’ as in to reveal naturally, I just happen to be passing by here."

Luo Shuining looked at Zhang Xian, blushed and lowered her head, twisted the corner of her clothes and said nothing more.

She had grown up in the mountains and had never left to experience the world. This was her first ti talking to a man, she was a little bit unnatural. The main reason was because the man in front of her kept looking at her. He made her uncomfortable; her heart throbbing and racing as if it would leap out of her chest and flee.

"You guys chat, I have things to do so I’ll leave now." The woman smiled and left the room.

Zhang Xian watched the woman leave, pulled up a chair, and sat in front of Luo Shuining, laughing, "Little sister, where do you guys co from and where are you heading?"

"I..." Luo Shuining said softly, "I won’t tell you."

Zhang Xian slapped his forehead, his face full of confusion.

At this mont, Jing Yi suddenly looked up and glared at Zhang Xian, "Hey, what’s your intention sitting so close? Any ulterior motives? Dare to have intentions towards my junior sister, beware I will tear your filthy mouth."

"Uh, Master Jing Yi, what do you an by this? What do you an by

having intentions towards your junior sister? Am I that type of person?" Zhang Xian laughed bitterly.

In his impression, a master should be gentle like water and dignified. Why was the master in front of him so fierce?

"Looking at what? Go away." Jing Yi commanded.

Zhang Xian’s mouth twitched and he quickly retreated back a bit with his chair.

Originally, he wanted to chat with the two beauties, one young and one mature, and find out so information. Now it seed that this plan could not be implented. Master Jing Yi was guarding him as if he were a thief.

Luo Shuining watched Zhang Xian, feeling a little sympathetic. After coming down from the mountain for a few days, the man in front of her was the most handso she had ever seen.

However, she knew her senior sister’s temper well and didn’t dare to speak in support of Zhang Xian.

With little experience, she felt an inherent discomfort towards strangers, fearing deception.

"Dinner’s ready."

Not long after, the woman who had previously left ca back in with food.

"Huh?" Zhang Xian said, looking at the woman, "Sister, why all vegetarian? Isn’t there any at? I want to eat at co on! Must have chicken drumsticks and pig trotters!"

The woman was taken aback, then laughed, "Well, these two are vegetarians, so I just... Wait a mont, I’ll bring you so."

Zhang Xian heard this and nodded in satisfaction.

Not long after, tantalizing chicken legs and pork feet were served, golden and enticing.

"Not bad ..." Zhang Xian grabbed a golden chicken leg and started to feast.

This small village seed to specialize in roasting ats. The chicken legs, pork feet and the like were all baked, and the flavor was excellent. Presumably, so special seasoning was added, leaving a rich aroma.

"Little bastard ..." Jing Yi was staring at Zhang Xian, with what seed to be two flas jumping in her eyes.

They were nuns and had always been vegetarians. The guy in front of them was deliberately eating at and flaunting an expression of delight right in their faces. It was utterly infuriating.

"It looks really appetizing ..." Luo Shuining was close to drooling.

She had never eaten at when she lived in the mountains. Now, all kinds of tempting aromas wafted over, much more enticing than the food on her own plate. How could she not be tempted?

"By the way, my lady, you ntioned earlier that sothing happened in your village. Could you tell

about it?" Zhang Xian pointed at the food on the table, "You’ve been so hospitable. I can’t just have my fill and leave without doing anything in return. So, I’m thinking I should help you with sothing."

"Well... it’s nothing, any guest is welco!" The woman didn’t seem willing to reveal more.

Zhang Xian smiled, "My lady, opportunities are scarce! Once I leave, who knows when I might return."

"I..." The woman hesitated for a bit, "You should know the geography of our village by now, basically isolated from the world. We lead a nearly primitive life, farming and hunting for a living. Two days ago, our village n went into the mountains for hunting and unexpectedly ran into a powerful beast. Ten n went into the mountains, but only seven returned alive."

"A wild beast?" Zhang Xian bit into his chicken leg.

The woman nodded, "Yes. We’re close to the Dragon Mountain Range here. There are many fierce beasts in there, we dare not venture into the deep parts of the mountain. But normally, those wild beasts won’t co out. As long as we don’t go into the mountain range, we’re safe. Recently, though, a very powerful beast has appeared. We all dare not enter the mountains now."

"That’s it, then?" While biting another piece of his chicken leg, Zhang Xian chuckled vaguely, "Don’t worry, my lady, I’ll take care of that beast for you."

The woman gave a wry smile but said nothing.

The n of their village, who earned their living by hunting, were undoubtedly strong warriors. Ten n together could not deal with the beast. And could this youngster really help them kill it?

Those two Daoist nuns in front of them were pretty skilled - they had seen it firsthand. But even after entering the mountain range they hadn’t managed to kill the beast, instead almost got injured themselves.

Now, they were simply waiting. Both of the Daoist nuns had agreed to go back into the mountain to tackle the beast together, after they’ve finished with the funeral affairs.

"Don’t go." Luo Shuining glanced at Zhang Xian and murmured, "You can’t handle it."

Zhang Xian asked, "Is that beast really that strong?"

"What do you think?" Jing Yi said snappishly, "With your small fra, getting torn into pieces by that beast would be as easy as tearing this tofu in my bowl, a piece of cake."

Zhang Xian smiled, "It’s okay. If I say I can deal with it, then I can deal with it."

"You can’t handle it," Luo Shuining cautioned.

Jing Yi glanced at Zhang Xian, "Shuining, if this guy wants to go die, let him. We have nothing to do with it. Let’s eat."

"Heh heh ..." Zhang Xian looked at Jing Yi, chuckling.

Turned out, she was the type that’s all bark but no bite - she was so harsh on the outside but deep down didn’t want him to risk his life. But a re beast in the mountain range showing off in front of him?

He he ... He was the one planning to enter the depths of the Dragon Mountain Range. If he couldn’t even take care of the boundary beasts, how could he tackle those already transford ferocious existences?

The woman looked at Zhang Xian, "Are you really going to kill the beast?"

"Absolutely, You’ve gone out of your way to accommodate . If I can’t even help you with this, how could I live up to my handso little face?" Zhang Xian tossed his head casually and asked, "My lady, there should be a way to access the Dragon Mountain Range from your village, right? I want to go in and take a look, could you tell

how to get there?"

The woman’s eyes grew wide, "You ... You want to go into the Dragon Mountain Range? Do you understand what it’s like?"

"Seeking his own death," Jing Yi scorned.

Luo Shuining was also stunned by Zhang Xian’s boldness. The Dragon Mountain Range wasn’t so ordinary mountain, it was filled with all kinds of beasts and even seasoned warriors didn’t dare to go in casually.

"Yeah, I want to go in. Can you show

the way?" Zhang Xian asked.

After the woman recovered from her astonishnt, she shook her head, "We don’t dare to enter at all. How could we possibly know the way? Listen to , don’t go into the Dragon Mountain Range. It’s too dangerous."

"Alright! After we finish eating, you lead

to the mountain and I’ll help you kill that beast." Zhang Xian said, "I don’t have much ti, I can’t stay long."

Pointing at herself, the woman asked, "You ... want

to guide you?"

Zhang Xian replied, "In this village, you seem to be the only one I can communicate with. If I ask anyone else, I’d feel uneasy."

The woman said, "But ... But if we just go like this, it’s no different than going on a suicide mission."

After biting into his chicken leg, Zhang Xian advised, "My lady, you should believe in ."

"But..." The woman wasn’t willing to go.

Zhang Xian let out a wry smile, "My lady, do you think I’m a fool? Do you think I’m here to die without a cause? I’m fully aware that ten strong n in your village couldn’t handle the beast. I also know that these two Daoist nuns here tried but didn’t succeed. Given this situation, do you think I’d dare to go without being sure?"
