Chapter 722: Chapter 761: How Nice
“Those two… you have no idea, those two certainly won’t treat nicely. If they grab and drag to bed, I’m afraid they won’t let go until they’ve drained dry,” John Brown thought about the two of them and shuddered at the thought of being caught between them.
Lucy Campbell, clinging to John Brown’s arm, smiled even more and said, “You have to try all kinds of flavors, don’t you? Maybe you never realized you like this kind of thing before.”
John Brown glared at Lucy Campbell and said, “Don’t tell you’re considering trying it out too?”
Lucy Campbell blinked and said, “You just reminded , I’m thinking of serving you, my lord, but maybe trying to abuse you a bit might feel interesting too.”
John Brown shivered and quickly said, “Don’t try it, don’t try it. That’s definitely not a good feeling.”
Lucy Campbell burst into laughter, and as the elevator reached the first floor, they stopped talking. But when they got into the car and Lucy Campbell buckled her seatbelt, she grinned and said, “I tell you, Jas, this is getting quite interesting. Emily Lopez and I are in one group, Helen Wilson and Emily Berns are in another, and then you have your wife, Emma Campbell, and Sarah Grandy together—three groups in total. And now there’s also lody Yoody going solo, which makes her another group. Your won are divided into four gangs. How you’re going to handle these four factions, well, that’s your skill to show.”
John Brown rubbed his nose and said, “Seems like it really is. This is quite a tough nut to crack.”
“I’m telling you, it’s so much fun now, I won’t always be helping you out. I’ll join them too.”
“No way?” John Brown widened his eyes instantly.
“It’s a lot of fun! Plus, I’m really looking forward to seeing if you can manage to handle us all. That would be my most anticipated event. If you could actually handle all of us, by then, it would be like a king’s nightly companionship, all of us serving you. Wouldn’t that make you more glorious than a president?”
“Well, kings who played nightly companionship usually didn’t end well. My body isn’t made of iron, nor am I the twisted male protagonist in so novel. If I went down that path, I’d probably end up as a dried-out husk.”
“Hehe, playing it occasionally doesn’t hurt. Usually, we’d just rotate shifts. Or assign days, with a different woman accompanying you each night—now that’s a king’s treatnt, isn’t it? Are you not tempted?”
John Brown chuckled and said, “This indeed is quite tempting.”
“Then do your best. I’m cheering for you.”
As he turned and saw the mischievous smile on Lucy Campbell’s face, John Brown felt a little uncertain. Other people were manageable, but facing soone as super-intelligent as Lucy Campbell, John Brown had to admit he had no chance. With re intellect alone, John Brown knew he couldn’t compete with Lucy. At just twenty-six or seven, she had beco an acknowledged prodigy in SSUP Country, with countless assets at her disposal—sothing no ordinary person could achieve. Lucy Campbell’s talent and intelligence were nothing short of monstrous. Still, she never showed it in front of him.
Lucy Campbell didn’t say anything now either, her face still filled with excitent. For her, the relationship with John Brown suddenly turned into an incredibly fun ga. Just thinking about it made her look forward to it. Her mind was already full of sches about how to earn favor with John in the future and how she and Emily Lopez could join forces against the other factions. In just a mont, countless ideas had already sprung up in her mind.
John Brown, anwhile, only felt a chill down his spine. In the past, even though he felt guilty about attracting so many won, he still enjoyed it. But now, there was a sense of fear and even deep regret. If he had known this would happen, he wouldn’t have involved himself with so many won before. Whether it was Emma Campbell or lody Yoody, or even Emily Berns, being with just one person might have saved him from so much trouble.
But for him, this was also a challenge. He had survived so many dangerous situations before. Could it be that he would be ruined by these won? Thinking this way filled him with a sense of pride. Pressing the horn, he declared, “Bring it on, if I, John Brown, am afraid of you won, then I am no longer John Brown.”
Lucy Campbell was startled by the sudden honking but quickly beca captivated by John’s bravado. It was this quality she loved about him, regardless of his infidelity and his ssy love life. Even with so many won, she still loved him, and she wanted to be with him.
The two of them didn’t imdiately go ho. They went straight to the supermarket to buy groceries and fruits—things to stock up in their new ho.
Not long into their supermarket trip, John Brown started feeling like they were being followed. John Brown didn’t show any signs of noticing and continued shopping with Lucy Campbell, pushing their cart forward. Several tis, he tried to use the turns to see who was tailing them, but the person cleverly hid, making sure he couldn’t spot them.
This made John Brown appreciate the follower’s skill. This was definitely not a simple person. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have missed seeing them several tis. It seed the people with intentions towards Lucy Campbell were now sending out increasingly skilled experts.
While browsing the personal care section, John Brown remained leisurely. When they passed the makeup aisle, John Brown smiled and said, “Why not get one? I think it’s quite pretty.”
Lucy Campbell winked at John and said, “If you’re buying it as a gift for , I’ll gladly accept it.”
John Brown smiled lightly and said, “That would be my pleasure.” Then he picked up a makeup box.
A makeup box, there must be a little mirror inside. Jas Brown picked up the lid and saw the silhouette of a woman. However, she was very alert. Jas didn’t even see her face, only that she was wearing a hat and a beige trench coat.
“How about this one?” Jas handed the makeup box to Lucy Campbell.
Lucy took it, smiled sweetly, and said, “Since it’s from you, I like it no matter what.”
Jas chuckled softly and said, “You are easily satisfied, but using such a makeup box makes feel like it’s beneath your status.”
“What status do I have? I’m just your woman,” Lucy playfully blinked and put the makeup box into the shopping cart.
The two walked forward again. Maybe that person already knew Jas had discovered her, and Jas didn’t see her again either. Jas didn’t tell Lucy about it because telling her wouldn’t help. Lucy was very aware of her status, so whenever she went out with Jas, she always stayed where it was most convenient for him to protect her.
When they got ho, they saw Emily Jenkins sitting on the shoe cabinet by the door, holding her cheeks with both hands, eyes closed, and her head swaying slowly to the left and right, appearing asleep.
“Hey, Emily, what are you doing?” Jas lightly tapped her on the head.
Emily let out an “Ah,” opened her eyes, and jumped up saying, “You guys are finally back.”
Jas smilingly asked, “Lost your keys and phone, right?”
Emily widened her eyes at Jas and said, “How did you know?”
Jas explained while opening the door, “It’s simple. If you hadn’t lost your keys, you could at least go back to your own ho. But seeing the note on the door, you ran here instead. If your phone weren’t lost, you could’ve called us, rather than falling asleep at the door.”
Emily gave Jas a thumbs up and said, “Big Brother Brown, you are really clever.”
“Co in and see my new ho,” Jas invited Emily with a smile.
Emily unceremoniously changed her shoes and entered, imdiately exclaiming, “Wow, Big Brother Brown, your ho is beautiful, so much better than the other one. There’s even an upstairs, amazing! Hey, hey, do I have a room here?”
Jas couldn’t help but chuckle, “You’re really not shy, are you? I bought a house, and I still have to reserve a room for you.”
Emily stuck out her tongue and said, “I was just asking, haha, no worries, no worries. If I can’t go ho one day, sleeping on this sofa for a night is nice too, even more comfortable than a bed.” She bounced twice on the leather sofa and then lay down completely, without any restraint.
Jas and Lucy were long accustod to Emily’s behavior, and it was precisely because of Emily’s genuine, carefree nature that everyone liked her so much.
Lucy laughed and said, “Alright, although we didn’t specifically reserve a room for you, there are two guest rooms here. You are welco to stay whenever you like.”
Emily was overjoyed and imdiately went to look at the guest rooms under Lucy’s guidance, feeling very satisfied. After coming out, she suddenly said to Lucy, “Sister Lucy, from what you said earlier, it sounds like you have a room here.”
Lucy chuckled softly, “Yes, I do. It’s upstairs, and it’s right across from Jas and Gina’s room.”
“Wow!” Emily’s eyes widened imdiately, looking up and down at Lucy before grinning mischievously and saying, “So Sister Lucy has also been taken in by Big Brother Brown!”
Lucy burst into laughter and said, “You’ve got it wrong. I’m here purely for your Brother Brown’s protection; it’s arranged this way for my safety.”
Emily showed a disappointed face, shook her head in disdain at Jas, and said, “I say, Big Brother Brown, you’re not capable enough; you haven’t even taken Sister Lucy in. If you had done it sooner, you’d be a super-rich man now, and I’d feel a bit more justified mooching off you for als.”
“Otherwise, it doesn’t stop you from eating here,” Jas and Lucy both showed exasperated expressions. Could her reasoning be any more bizarre?
