By the side of an oval table, eight people were now sitting down. Grace Lopez and Lucy Campbell were seated on either side of Jas Brown, while Robert Johnson sat directly across from him. Additionally, there were four more people—three n and one woman. Two of the n were middle-aged, roughly forty years old, who were acquainted with Robert Johnson: one called Robert Johnson, and the other Brandon Carter. Both were businessn, each having a Twenty Million Dollars fortune. While it wasn’t considered exceptional on this cruise, it was still quite decent.

The other man and woman, Jas Brown had seen before, and the man’s na was Charles Goodman. When Lucy Campbell first arrived in YODC City, Jas Brown accompanied Gina Lopez to a party. That Charles Goodman was really aggressive in pursuing Gina Lopez. Since then, Jas Brown hadn’t seen him again and never expected to see him here today.

This wasn’t because Charles Goodman knew Gina Lopez had a boyfriend and gave up the pursuit, but more so because he had recently not been in YODC City. His father took him elsewhere to make a business deal, but truthfully, he wasn’t the one making the deal. He was just tagging along to gain so experience. Yet, this guy believed he successfully closed a major business deal and returned with a brazen attitude.

When he saw Grace Lopez disguised as Gina Lopez, his eyes lit up imdiately. But when he noticed Grace Lopez holding Jas Brown’s arm affectionately, acting like she didn’t know him, a wave of anger surged within him.

This guy had also seen Lucy Campbell before, but at that ti, Lucy Campbell was completely shrouded in an aura. Due to his status, he couldn’t get close to Lucy Campbell. Nowadays, Lucy Campbell’s outfit was quite modest. Despite her stunning beauty, unless soone was very familiar with her, they couldn’t associate her with the SSUP Country’s number one beauty.

Those who ca here to play cards were not just here for gambling; many were also looking to socialize through playing cards. Although Robert Johnson intended to put Jas Brown in a bind, he still laughed and said, "Mr. Johnson is a famous logistics company CEO in YODC City, while CEO Wilson runs a taxi company with dozens of cars. They’re all big bosses. Mr. Smith is a well-known associate from T Corporation in YODC City, now a vice president in the company. They’re all business elites. And here we have the general manager of J Corporation, Gina Lopez, and playing with us today is her husband, Jas Brown."

Robert Johnson and Brandon Carter both nodded towards Jas Brown, while Charles Goodman glared at him and said, "Gina Lopez, did you get married?"

Grace Lopez didn’t recognize Charles Goodman, but upon hearing this, she understood that Charles Goodman knew her sister and wasn’t a good guy from the sound of it. Imitating her sister, she smiled faintly and said, "Yes, this is my husband, Jas Brown."

The veins on Charles Goodman’s forehead were bulging. He had previously been interested in Gina Lopez, but it wasn’t genuine affection. It was simply that Gina Lopez was talented and beautiful, making him think it would be prestigious to get Gina Lopez. At that ti, Gina Lopez was just a general manager of a small company, essentially an employee, so he never took her seriously, believing she would eventually be his.

Now, unexpectedly soone else had claid the prize, and she had gotten married. This was sothing he couldn’t accept at all.

If it weren’t on this cruise, he’d really want to gather so people and give Jas Brown a beating, glaring fiercely at Jas Brown and gritting his teeth, saying, "Kid, you have guts, even daring to touch the woman I am fond of."

Jas Brown t Charles Goodman’s gaze and disdainfully said, "What do you think you are?" Despite Grace Lopez sitting beside him, with Charles Goodman saying such things about Gina Lopez, as her husband, if he didn’t speak back harshly, he’d lack masculinity.

"What did you say?" Charles Goodman slamd the table and jumped up.

Robert Johnson imdiately said, "Mr. Smith, calm down. We’re here to have fun; let’s set aside the past for now."

Charles Goodman knew he couldn’t act recklessly on such a cruise. After all, those who could truly afford such a cruise weren’t ordinary people. Even with T Corporation’s strength, wanting to run such cruise business wasn’t financially feasible for them.

Sitting down, Charles Goodman coldly looked at Jas Brown and said, "Kid, we’ll settle this later."

Jas Brown turned to kiss Grace Lopez’s cheek, saying, "With you, really... ha ha..."

The "ha ha" was filled with disdain and contempt, making Charles Goodman’s eyes burn with anger. If it weren’t for Robert Johnson holding him back, he’d really want to rush in and start a fight with Jas Brown.

"By the way, we still need to introduce the lovely lady to us," Robert Johnson looked towards Lucy Campbell.

Before Jas Brown could speak, Lucy Campbell had already hooked her arm around Jas Brown’s, leaning her head on his shoulder and softly saying, "I am Jas’s mistress." Her deanor was charming to the extre, looking less like a wife and more like a mistress.

Jas Brown and Grace Lopez hadn’t expected Lucy Campbell to say such a thing at this mont. Grace Lopez glanced at Lucy Campbell, and seeing Lucy giving her a wink, she imdiately understood. Lucy Campbell was intentionally provoking Charles Goodman and Robert Johnson.

Grace Lopez knew how to play this card ga. To play, one must remain calm because getting riled up easily leads to losses. Now, the three were trying to ignite Charles Goodman and Robert Johnson’s fury, and they would undoubtedly end up as suckers.

As soon as Lucy Campbell spoke, the few people across stared with wide eyes at Jas Brown and his group. Getting married to Gina Lopez was already infuriating for so. Now he apparently had a mistress, who looked even more beautiful than Gina Lopez, his wife. The most astonishing thing was the mistress and the wife being on either side of Jas Brown without any fuss, seemingly having a good relationship.

What’s beco of the world? An underdog turning the tables is already annoying, and now it seems they’re defying the norm.

Jas Brown enjoyed the two won holding his arms and proudly said, "Are you guys going to play or not?"

Charles Goodman smacked the table and said, "B.S., I’ll make you lose so badly soon that you’ll have to take your pants off."

Jas Brown snorted and said, "It might not be that easy—I have always had a knack for luck."

Robert Johnson, known for his deep city strategies, smiled and said, "Then let’s begin!"

There were eight people seated, but only five players, as Grace Lopez and Lucy Campbell were spectators. The other woman was with Charles Goodman—attractive enough to be called a beauty. Yet, sitting beside Charles Goodman, she dared not speak a word; clearly, Charles Goodman didn’t value her much.

This card ga dealt each person three cards—three of the sa kind called a Leopard, the highest rank, followed by a flush of consecutive cards, also known as a Flush, then a flush, straight, pair, and finally scattered cards. The ranking was clear.

This style, however, was thrilling because nobody could see the opponent’s cards. Many people even started betting without looking at their own cards initially. If more than three players joined the ga, they couldn’t compare sizes but could only bet boldly. Those with less money or courage, regardless of having good cards, might have to fold early.

Robert Johnson asked, "How big are we playing?"

Charles Goodman quickly said, "Let’s play big—minimum stake is Fourteen Dollars, minimum bet per follow is Fourteen Dollars, no ceiling on bets." He wished to win it all from Jas Brown in one go, hence setting high stakes.

Both Robert Johnson and Brandon Carter frowned imdiately. This style was too risky; potentially, a few rounds could wipe out their assets. Though they didn’t speak imdiately, if the ga proceeded at such high stakes, they’d certainly withdraw.

Jas Brown quickly responded, "No, no, that’s too much. I can’t afford to play that big. Plus, I don’t even know how to play; playing this high, you’re treating like a fool!"

Robert Johnson imdiately said, "Mr. Smith, your style might not be affordable for many on this cruise. I suggest a minimum stake of Fourteen Dollars, maximum bet One million dollars each ti, play for a while, and when Jas Brown learns the ga, we can discuss increasing the stakes."

Jas Brown smacked his lips, saying, "That’s still quite large—seems like one hand might even go up to One million dollars."

Robert Johnson smiled lightly, saying, "You can choose not to follow initially, just watch us play. Besides, Gina is an executive, tens of thousands shouldn’t be a problem, right?"

Jas Brown looked at Grace Lopez, and Grace mimicked a difficult expression but ultimately seed to not want Jas Brown to lose face, reluctantly saying, "Fine, let’s put in Twenty Million Dollars—more would be impossible."

Lucy Campbell laughed and said, "I’ll put in Seventy Thousand Dollars; let’s have Fifty Thousand Dollars. We’ll treat it as appeasing my husband."

The n’s eyes almost popped out of their heads. So this mistress was rich, even funding Jas Brown’s gaming—what kind of lucky streak was this kid on? His wife was already superb; now he had a mistress who’s not only not needing care but also providing money, truly defying norms for an underdog.

Playing here was no different from a real casino. Chip exchanges started imdiately; everyone swiped cards for paynt. Charles Goodman exchanged One million dollars worth of chips, Robert Johnson exchanged Seventy Thousand Dollars, while Brandon Carter and Robert Johnson opted for Twenty Million Dollars each. Their capability dictated that playing with Twenty Million Dollars was already substantial; otherwise, they wouldn’t afford to play that big with Charles Goodman without considering the T Corporation potential business.
