418: Chapter 425 Brother-in-law Avenges You 418: Chapter 425 Brother-in-law Avenges You Emily Lopez turned her head, the left side of her forehead was stained red, and her face bore unmistakable crimson handprints—a sight of undeniable brutality.

Yet her gaze remained steadfast, persistently locking onto Christopher Taylor.

With gritted teeth, she spat out each word, “You… are… dead… at!”

Christopher Taylor had raised his hand once more to strike her, but the resolve in Emily Lopez’s eyes made his heart suddenly falter, rendering him unable to land the blow.

“Master Johnson, maybe… we should just let this go?” Larry Frank suggested in a hushed tone beside Christopher Taylor’s ear.

“Let it go?

No way!

That bastard ruined my future, and now you want to forgive and forget?

Not happening!” Christopher Taylor scread hysterically before snarling, “Hold this bitch down for —I’m going to make her mine!”

Two n imdiately stepped forward, grabbing Emily Lopez by her arms and dragging her toward the sofa.

Gina Lopez had already lost consciousness by this ti, clutching onto Emily Lopez instinctively.

Were it not for that small vestige of sanity left in her, she might have been clinging onto one of the n in the room instead.

“Brother-in-law!

Brother-in-law!” Emily abruptly shouted at the top of her voice.

“Hahaha, are you calling for ?” Christopher Taylor chuckled, convinced he had broken through Emily Lopez’s ntal defenses, laughing smugly as he spoke.

“Bah!

You scumbag!

Look in the mirror and see for yourself!

Even if you were my grandson, I’d still think you’re too ugly.

Brother-in-law!

Brother-in-law!

If you don’t co here soon, I’m dood!”

Emily Lopez had already been pinned onto the sofa by this ti, with Christopher Taylor sitting right beside her, grinning maliciously.

“Do you really think your brother-in-law is that capable?” he sneered.

“Damn right!

He could squash you with a single finger!” Emily Lopez tilted her head defiantly, glaring fiercely at Christopher Taylor.

“And do you know why I haven’t touched you yet?

I’m waiting for your brother-in-law to arrive.

I’ve stationed several experts outside—I’m counting on your brother-in-law showing up.

Once he does, they’ll make him suffer, drag him in here, and have him watch while I ruin both you and your sister.”

Christopher Taylor laughed maniacally, his face flushed red, his laugh resembling that of a demon.

“I bet your brother-in-law has long been harboring improper thoughts towards his little sister-in-law.

Have you two ever… done it?”

“Shut up!

Shaless!”

“Ahh, so you haven’t?

Heh heh, then I’ll beat him to it.

That way, he’ll be furious enough to die from anger.”

“Bang!” At that mont, the door suddenly burst open as a man’s figure barreled inside.

Christopher Taylor turned his head, furrowing his brows instantly.

“Didn’t I tell you to stop that guy outside?”

“Master Johnson…” the man hadn’t even finished his sentence before his body flew backward once more, slamming against the wall and sliding to the ground lifelessly.

“Brother-in-law!

Is it you?” Emily Lopez couldn’t see behind her, but she cried out excitedly nonetheless.

“Brother-in-law is here!” Jas Brown’s voice rang out right beside Emily’s ears.

Suddenly, she felt her arms loosen, and before she knew it, she was enveloped in the embrace of a strong man.

“Brother-in-law!” Without even looking up, Emily Lopez knew it was Jas Brown.

She imdiately wrapped her arms tightly around him, sobbing softly into his chest.

The harrowing monts she had just endured were unlike anything she had ever experienced before.

It was already a miracle that she managed to hold up this far.

Now that Jas Brown had finally arrived, her defensive walls crumbled, and she began crying like a little girl.

Jas Brown gently patted Emily’s back, his voice soft and soothing, “Don’t cry, Emily.” Then his tone suddenly turned icy cold, “Whatever they’ve done to you, I’ll repay them tenfold, a hundredfold.”

Gina Lopez also heard Jas’ voice, and the last shred of sanity she clung to instantly dissolved.

She gasped out, “Darling!” before lunging forward to wrap her arms around Jas’ neck.

Her lips began rubbing against his neck as the intoxicating effects of the drugs reached their peak.

At the forefront of her mind, all she wanted was to lose herself with Jas.

His wife drugged, his sister-in-law beaten—Jas Brown wore an unnervingly serene expression.

But the cold, piercing gaze in his eyes sent a chill down Christopher Taylor’s spine.

“Master Johnson, is this the guy?” Larry Frank stood beside Christopher, eyeing Jas Brown curiously.

“Yeah, that’s him.” Christopher’s face flickered with uncertainty.

The man who had crashed in earlier was one of the elite fighters he brought specifically to deal with Jas Brown.

Now, the man lay motionless on the ground.

Christopher suddenly felt less assured of himself.

His confidence in besting Jas was rooted in having several skilled fighters in his arsenal.

Whether the others were still standing, Christopher did not yet know.

“Doesn’t seem all that impressive,” Larry Frank scoffed, stepping forward.

“Kid, you’ve got guts to co here.

Do you know who this is?”

Jas turned his piercing gaze toward Larry, his voice calm as he asked, “Who are you?”

“I’m Larry Frank, a friend of Master Johnson’s.

Do you realize who Master Johnson is?

He’s from the City Center Brownie Family.

If you have any sense, you’ll apologize right now, and Master Johnson might let you off lightly.

Otherwise, just one spit from the Brownie Family would be enough to crush you.”

Larry’s words brimd with authority, instantly restoring Christopher Taylor’s confidence.

After all, being part of the prestigious Brownie Family ant no small fry could afford to provoke him.

Christopher stepped forward as well, glaring at Jas coldly as he said, “Kid, don’t think that just because I haven’t dealt with you until now ans I’ve been scared of you.

I held back before because I needed to maintain my reputation in YODC City.

But now that you’ve ruined my career prospects here, I’ve got no reason to hold back anymore.”

“Master Johnson!” A group of n suddenly rushed into the room, positioning themselves protectively around Christopher.

There were four of them, all in their thirties, their expressions stern, their stature imposing—they stood like unyielding spears.

Just one glance at them was enough to discern their formidable prowess.

Christopher Taylor had assud the elite fighters he brought were all taken out by Jas Brown.

Seeing these four now soothed his nerves, emboldening him.

Laughing heartily, he said, “Jas Brown, aren’t you supposed to be hot stuff?

I’m eager to see just how strong you are.

I’ll let you know—these four n by my side are top-tier experts.”

Jas rely cast Christopher a frosty glance before turning his attention back to Emily Lopez.

Gently, he wiped the blood from her forehead.

Emily winced slightly from the pain as he touched her wound, her lips twitching from the sting.

But she didn’t move, allowing him to clean her injury.

“Emily, I’m sorry I’m late,” Jas said, his tone overwhelmingly tender.

“Why didn’t you co sooner?

I wouldn’t have gotten hurt,” Emily pouted, her voice full of grievance.

“Was it him who hit you?” Jas asked, pointing toward Christopher Taylor.

“Yes!

It was him!

He slapped twice—my cheeks still hurt.

And my head slamd into the wall—it hasn’t stopped hurting either,” Emily replied, tears pooling in her eyes as she voiced her complaints.

This was the first ti she’d ever been hit, and though she had been too preoccupied to dwell on it earlier, now the indignation was overwhelming.

“It’s my fault for not coming sooner.

But don’t worry, I’ll make it up to you right now,” Jas said apologetically.

Without another word, his figure blurred with motion, followed by a sharp, resounding slap.

Emily and Gina felt an abrupt emptiness beside them as Jas seed to vanish and then reappear in an instant, still holding Emily protectively, with Gina clinging onto his back.

The speed of his movents was ghostly, leaving any observer baffled as to how he had left and returned so quickly.

“Ah!” Christopher suddenly let out a bloodcurdling scream as several teeth flew out of his mouth.

In just an instant, Jas had delivered over twenty strikes to Christopher’s face, his hands moving so quickly that the sound of the slaps rged into one continuous crack.

The sheer speed left Christopher’s face numb, and only now did the pain begin to register.

“Are you all dead?!” Christopher erupted in rage, even angrier at the fighters he brought along than at Jas.

He had been surrounded by them, yet still ended up beaten.

The four n protecting him felt a chill run down their spines.

When Jas sprang forward just now, the two in front had almost reacted, but as soon as they extended their arms, an overwhelming force deflected their movents as if their limbs had been tossed aside effortlessly.

Before they could adjust, Jas had already retreated.

Jas’ skill left them terrified; they knew from that brief exchange alone that even if they all joined forces, they weren’t his match.

Where did this expert co from?

Even within the elite Brownie Family, such prowess was rare; one or two individuals of this caliber could be found at most.

“Emily, I’ve only collected a little interest for now.” Jas didn’t even spare Christopher and the others a glance as he spoke softly to Emily.

Emily stared at Christopher in shock.

His face was already swollen into a pig-like shape, utterly disfigured—a masterpiece wrought entirely by Jas Brown.

Turning slowly to look at Jas, her eyes glead with excitent as she exclaid, “Brother-in-law, you’re amazing!”

Jas smiled bitterly, “Don’t say that—you’re only mocking .

I let you get hurt.”

“Hehe, it’s fine.

Now that you’re giving justice, I won’t hold it against you,” Emily replied mischievously, winking playfully at Jas.

But guilt weighed heavily on Jas—his actions had indirectly put Emily in harm’s way, leading her to suffer at Christopher’s hands.

“Emily, just tell what you want to do to vent your anger.

Whatever it is, I’ll do it—even kill them if it’s what you want,” Jas said, his tone remaining gentle but carrying an undertone so chilling it made one’s hair stand on end.

“You son of a bitch!” Christopher roared angrily, pointing at Jas.

“You plan to kill ?

I’ll kill you first!

Get him!

All of you, kill that bastard now!”
