379: Chapter 386: There’s No Engagent Ring Yet 379: Chapter 386: There’s No Engagent Ring Yet Newlyweds bask in the depths of their passionate love, and n and won in their twenties have heightened desires, today of course is no exception.

After Jas Brown and Gina Lopez went to bed, it led to another session of fervor.

But just as they were in the heat of passion, Jas Brown suddenly stopped and turned his ear, listening for so sound.

Gina Lopez was lost in ecstasy when Jas Brown suddenly halted; she couldn’t take the interruption, and twisting her body around, she wrapped her arms around Jas Brown and pleadingly said, “Honey, don’t stop.”

Jas Brown’s face twisted into an odd expression, but he quickly returned to normal, and while he resud their vigorous activity, he was even more careful to listen to the sounds outside.

Now he finally heard what that sound was—it was a woman’s restrained moan, and that sound was coming from the next room, from Emily Lopez’s room.

Jas Brown was all too familiar with this sound; it was the sa one that Gina Lopez was making right now.

But who would have thought that Emily Lopez, living alone, could also make such a noise.

However, Jas Brown didn’t find anything unusual about it.

After all, Emily Lopez was already twenty-six years old, and it was normal for her to have such needs.

Although won might not have as strong a drive as n during their twenties, the occasional self-pleasure was quite normal.

Moreover, the soundproofing of the house wasn’t very good, and with him and Gina Lopez being intimate here, Emily Lopez would probably be able to hear their sounds which, for her, would be a further enticent.

Doing such a thing was therefore perfectly normal.

But for Jas Brown, this was an intense stimulus—lying on top of the twin’s sister, while also being able to hear the faint sounds of the twin sister next door was as if he were doing the deed in front of Emily Lopez with her sister.

This made Jas Brown’s movents beco more and more fierce, leading Gina Lopez to peak after peak.

“Honey, you’re going to wear out,” Gina Lopez finally quieted down, exhaustedly snuggled against Jas Brown’s chest, feeling as if her body was falling apart.

The words a man loves to hear most are exactly such words, and Jas Brown was no exception.

He chuckled and said, “Seems like soone was pretty excited just now.”

“You’re saying it like it’s my fault.

If you keep going at it like this, I’m afraid it won’t be long before you really do wear out.

I wonder how Sunny can withstand such tornt.

It seems like every ti you visit her, she’s always radiant the next day,” she replied.

Jas Brown instantly felt his heart sink, not daring to follow up on that remark.

Gina Lopez lightly smacked Jas Brown, and teased him, “Look how scared you appear.

I’m not grilling you about Sister Sunny and you.”

Under the moonlight, Jas leaned in to look at Gina Lopez’s expression, and sensing that Gina really wasn’t angry, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

With a dry laugh, he said, “Thank you, my dear.

I knew my wife was the best.”

Gina Lopez rolled her eyes at Jas Brown, then said in a soft voice, “I’m having so regrets.”

“What do you regret?

Marrying ?”

“No, I regret agreeing to Sister Sunny’s request.”

Jas Brown had always been very curious about the relationship between Gina Lopez and Sunny Nguyen.

It seed that since Gina Lopez was now married to him, she should be sowhat cautious about her old fla, Sunny Nguyen.

However, Gina still seed to be on good terms with Sunny Nguyen.

“That… I won’t tell you,” Gina Lopez chuckled, then snuggled deeper into Jas Brown’s embrace, adding, “I’m tired, let’s go to sleep.”

Jas Brown wanted to ask further, but sensing that Gina Lopez would not say, he did not bother to ask.

As long as Gina Lopez was not turning Sunny Nguyen into an enemy, why should he be overly curious?

It was the weekend the next day.

Gina Lopez spent the morning at ho tending to so pressing work from the company and in the afternoon, she went shopping with Jas Brown and Emily Lopez.

Gina Lopez wasn’t too fond of shopping before, which was sothing Jas Brown knew from when he first t her.

However, now married and strolling arm in arm with Jas Brown in the mall, it beca a rather romantic affair.

However, Emily Lopez was also there, acting as a third wheel – she too held onto Jas Brown’s arm, which bothered Gina Lopez sowhat.

But after several remarks, Emily acted as she pleased, ignoring Gina Lopez’s words, leaving Gina no option but to turn a blind eye.

As for Emily’s closeness with Jas Brown, Gina no longer felt as suspicious as before.

How could her sister, who so supported her relationship with Jas Brown, harbor any designs on him?

If the roles were reversed, and it was Emily with Jas Brown, and she liked Jas Brown as well, she wouldn’t even think of helping Emily, just avoiding sabotage would be enough.

Thus, she could only assu that Emily saw Jas Brown as family, as a caring brother-in-law, and that was why she was so affectionate.

If she complained about Emily for this, it would make her seem both ungrateful and petty.

“Brother-in-law, the diamond ring—when you married my sister, you didn’t buy her a diamond ring.” The trio had arrived at the jewelry section.

Won all like such things, and as Emily Lopez gazed at those sparkling diamond rings, she winked at Jas Brown.

Reminded by Emily Lopez, Gina Lopez realized that her marriage to Jas Brown was incredibly simple.

Jas Brown just brought a few clothes over to live with her—there was no wedding, no proposal, no romantic monts under the moonlight, and no diamond ring that symbolized marriage.

But Gina still said, “I don’t like those things.”

Emily pouted and replied, “Stop kidding yourself.

You definitely like them.

You even discussed it with before.

You said that when you got married, you would have to get a diamond ring of at least two carats.”

Gina glared at her sister with a bit of complaint, saying, “Jas, don’t listen to her nonsense.

If I liked it, I would have bought it myself.”

At this mont, Jas actually felt quite moved.

Gina said so clearly because she knew he didn’t have money in his pocket and couldn’t afford such an expensive diamond ring.

An ordinary diamond ring was one thing—those could be bought for a few thousand.

But for soone of Gina’s status, wearing that kind of ring would seem beneath her.

So, if she were to wear one, it would have to be worth over a hundred thousand to be sowhat fitting.

Now that they were husband and wife, they should technically spend money together.

Gina didn’t mind Jas spending her money, but the diamond ring was sothing different.

If she had to use her own money to buy it, it seed to lack sincerity.

That’s why Gina was afraid that he would feel pressured.

Jas understood Gina’s intentions and felt a bit guilty in his heart.

No matter what the past was like, Gina was now his wife.

It was his undeniable duty to buy his wife a diamond ring.

He laughed and said, “Emily ntioned it, and now I really think I should buy a diamond ring for my wife.

Otherwise, if we go out and others don’t see a diamond ring on your hand, they might think you’re unmarried.

That could attract a bunch of suitors, and that would be a loss for .”

Gina secretly pinched Jas and said softly, “Let’s buy it when we have our wedding later on.”

“Alright, I’ll give it to you then,” Jas didn’t insist.

Gina breathed a sigh of relief.

She was genuinely afraid that Jas would feel inferior, which would be bad for their relationship.

Although Gina was sowhat proud, after she truly beca Jas’s wife, she really did restrain herself and tried her best to consider things from Jas’s perspective.

Just for this reason alone, Jas felt that marrying Gina was a great choice.

Emily watched the couple with a smile and then whispered to Jas, “Brother-in-law, do you feel a lot of pressure marrying a wealthy wife?”

Jas laughed, “There’s indeed so pressure, but I have a big heart.

Marrying a rich wife, won’t I have to work less hard?”

Emily chuckled and said, “I admire your generous spirit.

Those petty n always talk about how a man should earn money to support his wife, the typical male chauvinism, right?

But we’re all family.

It doesn’t matter who earns the money, it’s spent the sa.

I support you to take good care of the ho, otherwise, I won’t get to enjoy the als you cook.”

Jas laughed heartily in agreent, “What Emily said is exactly what I wanted.

I think I might as well beco a full-ti homaker.”

Gina glanced at her sister, “Being a full-tir is not okay.

Then one would beco idle, and eventually, you’ll find it boring.

It’s better for you to work in the company.

At the very least, you can help out.

Besides, aren’t you worried about people bothering when you’re by my side?”

Jas chuckled and wrapped his arms around Gina’s waist, saying, “My wife is so good to , how could she possibly have an affair?

I have confidence in you.”

The three of them chatted and laughed and continued to stroll until they reached the n’s clothing section.

A man walked up to them, looking surprised and pleased, and said to Emily, “Gina!

What a coincidence!”

“Sis, he’s looking for you,” Emily pointed to Gina, who was turning around.

When Gina saw the man, she seed a bit surprised, but quickly put on a smile and said, “Student Johnson, what are you doing here?”

“I’m here to buy clothes, and you are…” As Robert Johnson spoke, his gaze shifted to Jas, especially noticing Gina’s hand held by Jas’s.

Gina’s face turned slightly red, but she still said, “Let introduce you.

Jas, this is my senior from college, Robert Johnson.

Robert, this is my husband, Jas Brown.”

“Husband?” Robert’s expression changed instantly as he took a closer look at Jas.

Jas smiled and reached out his hand, saying, “Nice to et you, Senior Johnson.

We t once at the company before.”

Robert didn’t have any recollection of Jas and shook hands with him, apologizing, “I’m sorry, the last ti I went to see Gina, she didn’t introduce us.

It was really rude of .”

Jas smiled faintly, realizing right away that Robert Johnson was interested in Gina.

He had never seen Gina’s suitors before they were married, but now that they were married, they seed to be popping up.
