The next morning, Jas Brown took the dependent Emma Campbell back to school, and on the way, he received a call from Gina Lopez, asking him to pick her up and take her to the company.
Jas Brown had no choice but to detour to Gina Lopez’s apartnt complex, where Gina was already waiting for him at the entrance.
She opened the car door and got in.

You will cancel that room today and move into my place.”

Even though your place is smaller, we only need one bedroom.”

Having a baby is a big life event, it’s a life, not a tool.
We can understand mom’s wishes, but we must also be responsible for our offspring.
Think about it, if you were born for so purpose and not really wanted by your parents, how would you feel?

When they arrived at the company’s garage, Jas turned off the engine, but Gina didn’t get out of the car imdiately.
After a mont of hesitation, she said, “Jas, I’m sorry, but there’s one more thing I need to discuss with you.”
“Go ahead.”
“It’s about our marriage.
I don’t want people at the company to know about it.
If everyone knows about our relationship, it will affect how they see you and could influence work efficiency and attitudes.
I don’t want people to say that this company is run by a husband and wife.”
“No problem,” Jas said promptly, “as long as you don’t tell, I won’t either.”
Gina breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Okay, let’s go.”
As they entered the company, employees greeted them, yet their looks carried a hint of curiosity, since Gina’s hasty departure and tears that day had already sparked plenty of gossip.
