241: Chapter 244 Truly Disgusting 241: Chapter 244 Truly Disgusting Jas Brown finally finished changing the dressing and walked out, only then did Helen Wilson dare to raise her head.
Despite her tough talk and always sounding harsh when speaking to Jas Brown, she was well aware of how mortifying and awkward it was to let Jas Brown see everything, it was just that she wasn’t like other girls who wore their shyness on their faces.
A delicious aroma suddenly wafted in, and turning her head, Helen saw Jas holding so snacks in his hands—stuffed buns, fresh pickles—all slling so appetizing.
“Are you hungry?” Jas asked with a smile as he placed the breakfast on the bedside table.
“I’m not hungry at all.” Helen Wilson pinched her nose, but her stomach imdiately started rumbling.
Although she had eaten quite a lot of seafood the night before, it looked plentiful but at was actually sparse inside, and on top of that, the strong aroma of the food Jas bought was triggering her appetite.
Jas Brown shook his head with a hint of regret, “Oh, so you’re not hungry?
I thought you’d be hungry too, and we could have breakfast together.
Since you’re not, I might as well take it away and eat by myself.”
“Take it away then, who cares?” Helen Wilson turned her head away from Jas.
“Oh, it’s too much trouble to take it away; I’ll just eat here,” Jas replied.
He picked up a bun to take a bite and started chewing loudly.
As the bun was bitten into, the aroma of at and oil intensified.
Helen was even hungrier now, knowing that Jas was deliberately tantalizing her.
If she continued to show her pique, she’d have fallen for his ploy.
So she turned back, stretched out her hand to grab a bun, took a big bite, and said proudly, “I’ll eat too.”
“I thought you said you weren’t eating?” Jas feigned surprise with “wide-opened eyes”.
Helen Wilson was even more pleased with his reaction and said with a giggle, “Is it okay if I want to eat now?”
Jas responded in annoyance, “I’ve never seen such a fickle woman.”
“So what if I’m fickle, what are you going to do about it?
Give a pair of chopsticks; I want to eat so pickles too.”
Jas handed a pair of chopsticks to Helen, secretly amused.
Although Helen was a police officer, she maintained her innocence, her mind wasn’t cunning at all, and she was easily coaxed with his little tricks.
Thinking about Helen’s recent promotion to station chief, she would certainly face more office politics, and it was uncertain whether society would dye her as one of its many shades or whether she would maintain her innocence and sense of justice until she gets phased out by higher-ups.
But regardless, Helen was quite adorable at the mont, and Jas playfully competed with her for the buns and pickles.
Naturally, Helen would not show weakness; using one hand was not enough, so she used both hands.
At last, with three buns remaining, she held one in her left hand, another in her right hand, and still had one in her mouth.
“Big sister, can you even handle this?” Jas stared at the buns Helen was holding and swallowed hard.
With the bun in her mouth, Helen couldn’t speak, but she proudly shook her head and said vaguely, “That’s because you were too slow, you deserve to miss out.”
Suddenly, Jas stretched out his hand to snatch the bun from her grip, but Helen was prepared; she drew back her hands and didn’t let him take them, and then she smirked at Jas triumphantly.
But with that smile, her mouth naturally opened slightly, and the bun she was biting fell out.
Jas laughed out loud, caught the falling bun, and stuffed it into his mouth, chewing vigorously while gloating, “You’re just like that silly crow; once you’re proud, the thing in your mouth is lost.”
Helen Wilson stared at Jas, flabbergasted, before stamring, “That…
that fell out of my mouth…”
“Oh…” It was only then that Jas realized sothing, and he looked at Helen with wide eyes, stuttering, “You… you’re not sick, are you?”
“It’s you who’s sick!” Helen was infuriated by Jas to the point of almost choking, but then she angrily said, “My saliva was on that, how could you eat it?”
“If you’re not sick, what’s there to worry about?”
“What’s there to worry about, this is… how can you eat my saliva?” Helen’s face turned green, feeling uncomfortable all over, goosebumps all over her body.
Jas looked at the half-eaten bun in his hand and felt sowhat embarrassed.
The bun was bitten by Helen, so eating it ant he had her saliva, which seed like a violation to a girl.
Feeling his faux pas, Jas then stuffed the bun back into Helen’s still-open mouth with a dry laugh, “Here, I’m giving it back to you.”
“Mmm mmm…” Helen shook her head violently twice before spitting out the bun.
If looks could kill, Jas would have died a thousand tis by now.
“Hey hey…I’ve paid you back, so why are you still looking at like that?” Jas Brown suddenly stood up and darted to the door, pausing only when he reached it, nervously staring at Helen Wilson.
“Jerk!
You shaless jerk!” Helen Wilson flung both her hands, hurling two stead buns at Jas Brown.
Jas Brown deftly caught both buns and remarked, “Well, these don’t have your saliva on them, so I’m not afraid of catching anything.
Besides, I hadn’t eaten enough, so let’s not waste them.” Saying this, he took a bite of a bun and then turned to leave the bedroom.
“Jerk!
Bastard!” Helen Wilson clenched her hands into fists, furiously pounding on the bed.
Jas Brown snatching the buns from her mouth and biting into them was one thing—she could almost tell herself that, at worst, it just ant she had consud his saliva.
But the fact that he then shoved the half-eaten buns back into her mouth ant she ended up eating his saliva as well.
What was once a delicious bun now churned her stomach with nausea.
She wanted to drag Jas Brown back and beat him up; that might have given her so relief from this disgust.
After sulking on the bed for a while, Jas Brown timidly peeked in from the bedroom door, saying, “I an…do you need anything else?
If not, I’m leaving.”
“Just go, and never show your face to again,” Helen Wilson said through gritted teeth.
Jas Brown imdiately replied joyfully, “That’s great!
I’ve been worried I wouldn’t have ti to help you with that matter because I’ve been so busy.
Now I’m free of that burden.”
This only infuriated Helen Wilson further, but the matter was indeed very important, and she knew she wouldn’t be able to manage it without Jas Brown’s help.
She quickly called out, “No, you can’t just ignore this.”
“So should I show up in front of you or not?”
“Well…when I need you, you can appear.
When I don’t, you can’t.”
“You really are domineering.
Fine, fine, you’re a police officer, and I can’t afford to offend you.” Jas Brown muttered and started to walk away, but after a few steps, he turned back and said, “You’d better not wear pants today, or else you’ll feel even more uncomfortable.”
“Mind your own business!” Helen Wilson fud, hurling a pillow at Jas Brown.
However, Jas Brown had already closed the door swiftly, and the pillow hit the door with a dull thud.
Helen Wilson didn’t heed Jas Brown’s advice.
After he left, she put on her pants and felt fine initially.
But she soon realized her mistake.
It was alright not to wear pants and move around a bit, but once the pants were on, any movent rubbed the scabs on her buttocks against the fabric, causing pain.
Although not excruciating, the persistent pain was unbearable, worse than a sharp montary pain.
In the end, she had no choice but to remove her pants and recover at ho, bare-bottod.
Upon arriving at the company, Jas Brown encountered Sarah Utah on the first floor.
She was dressed in the light green long dress she had just bought yesterday.
As soon as she entered the company, the security guards started to praise her.
Within the company, Gina Lopez was unanimously regarded as the Goddess by everyone.
She wielded trendous power over the company; not only was she beautiful and noble, but almost every man in the company dread of her.
However, given Gina Lopez’s status, not a single man dared to express his affection for her, or even try to ingratiate himself with her.
Although Sunny Nguyen was a divorced woman, her charm was only slightly less than Gina Lopez’s.
As a mature woman, her every move and smile added a touch of enchanting grace, which was exactly what the n liked.
Still, as the esteed financial director and second in command, Sunny had a seemingly nice temperant, but everyone understood how serious she was about her work.
Anyone attempting to cozy up to Sunny during work was bound to be turned away.
Sarah Utah was recognized as the third beauty of the company.
Besides, Sarah was approachable despite being a departnt manager, never putting on airs and easily mingling with everyone.
Therefore, she was the most popular among the top three beauties of the company.
Today, Sarah had switched to a new long dress, displaying even more smiles and a touch of playful charm, which added to her beauty, leading people to tease her, wondering if she had found a boyfriend.
“No way, I don’t have a boyfriend,” Sarah denied with a blush, but upon turning her head and seeing Jas Brown, her eyes lit up, cheerfully greeting him, “Big Brother Brown, good morning.”
Jas Brown approached Sarah and looked her up and down, grinning, “Sarah, you really do look beautiful today.”
Sarah Utah acted coyly, replying softly, “Not really.”
Jas Brown smiled naturally, saying, “You really are.
There’s nothing to be shy about.
That’s the impression we all have, right?”
Everyone promptly agreed.
Although Jas Brown was just a Human Resources manager, most of the people were new to this company and still on probation, not daring to offend Jas Brown who might affect their long-term prospects.
Moreover, everyone sensed that Jas Brown, as one of the company’s founders, was highly favoured by the president Gina Lopez, so it beca natural for them to curry favour with Jas Brown.
Even if Sarah was indeed beautiful, had Jas Brown claid a sow was beautiful, they would have agreed just the sa.
At this, Sarah Utah felt a hint of disappointnt.
What mattered to her was how she was perceived by Jas Brown, and his current approach seed almost polite like everyone else’s complints.
She dearly wished Jas Brown’s gaze upon her could be more intense, but unfortunately, his look was too indifferent.
