170: Chapter 170 Scared to Pee 170: Chapter 170 Scared to Pee Jas Brown stomped twice forcefully, almost causing Thomas Johnson to pass out from the pain.

Then, with a cold voice, he said, “Kid, do you know who I am, and you still dare to ss with ?”

Thomas Johnson had been stepped on twice by Jas Brown, nearly to death, but the pressure forced him to spit out the chicken leg he had in his mouth.

Hearing Jas’s words, he quickly responded, “Big brother, I was wrong, I was wrong.

I will never dare to do it again.”

“Hmm, you think there will be a next ti?” Jas’s voice grew even colder.

“Ah…

there won’t be a next ti, definitely not.”

“At least you have so self-awareness,” Jas’s face broke into a cruel smile.

Just as Thomas looked up, he saw that ruthless smile and suddenly felt a tightness in his stomach.

Stuttering, he said, “Big brother, you…

you…

you’re not going to kill , are you?”

“I’ve killed plenty and wouldn’t mind adding one more.”

People like Thomas Johnson weren’t afraid of others who had more money or better connections, but when faced with desperadoes, he was utterly terrified.

His body shuddered, and a stench of urine emanated from him as he urinated from fear.

Jas frowned; he had intended to scare him further, but the sll was unbearable.

Losing interest, he kicked him aside and said, “If you ever cross again, I will co to your house for you.

I don’t mind if you call the police, considering those good-for-nothing cops can’t catch .

But you, I can find easily.”

“I won’t, I definitely won’t!” Suddenly feeling that he could survive, Thomas quickly assured him.

“Then get lost!” Jas shouted again.

This ti, Thomas’s reaction was quick.

He scrambled up and ran out of the private room faster than a rabbit.

After this incident, Jas believed Thomas Johnson wouldn’t dare to trouble him again, but what worried him more was the possibility of Thomas causing trouble for Emily Lopez and Gina Lopez.

It was better to handle this situation.

As for the person who had sold the hallucinogen to Thomas, Jas didn’t care anymore.

He reached the entrance and shouted, “Get your boss here.”

Soon, a chubby man in his forties, trembling with fear, hurried over.

Thomas had caused trouble under his roof, so he could not avoid being involved.

After seeing Thomas flee in panic, he knew he had provoked soone formidable.

If it were not for the fact that the restaurant was his life’s savings, he would have fled imdiately himself.

“Big…

big…

big brother,” the fat owner stuttered, his teeth chattering, making a clicking sound.

Seeing how pitiful the man was, Jas snorted coldly and asked, “Do you know why I’m looking for you?”

“I know, I know, big…

big brother, I didn’t want to, but Thomas Johnson’s family has a big influence.

If I didn’t listen to him, I couldn’t keep my restaurant open.

I’m just a small business owner; my whole life savings is tied to this place.

If it closes, my wife and children won’t have a future…” As he spoke, he began crying outright, tears and snot running down his face.

Jas couldn’t stand this, and waving his hand, he said, “Bring so white liquor.”

The owner hurriedly agreed and quickly brought a bottle of top-quality bourbon and placed a stack of money in front of Jas, trying to curry favor, “Big brother, this is a small token of my appreciation.

I hope you can forgive my minor transgression and let it go.”

“You’re sensible,” Jas huffed coldly, “Get lost.”

The owner scurried away, and Jas collected the money.

Taking the money was nothing wrong; the owner had made a mistake, and it was only right for him to bear the cost.

Jas poured a bit of the white liquor and held it under Emily Lopez’s nose.

Soon, Emily woke up.

“What happened?

Why do I feel like I was asleep?” Emily sat up, rubbing her forehead, and looked at Jas, puzzled.

Jas chuckled, saying, “It must have been because the beer we just drank was fake, so you were drunk.

Are you feeling better now?”

“I’m certain it was fake!

That unscrupulous hotel, I must report them,” Emily fud angrily.

“Yes, they should be reported,” Jas agreed and then yelled, “What kind of hotel are you running here, selling fake liquor?”

The fat owner, who had been waiting at the door, heard this and hurried in, stamring, “Big brother, big brother, the liquor was indeed poor quality.

Today’s bill is on the house.”

“That’s more like it.” Jas glared, and he and Emily walked out of the hotel with dignity.

The fat owner escorted Jas and Emily out of the hotel and saw them get into a Porsche 991.

Suddenly breaking out in a cold sweat, he realized from the car alone that these people were no ordinary individuals and definitely not inferior to Thomas Johnson.

Caught between two formidable figures, it was his bad luck for not noticing earlier what car Jas had been driving; otherwise, he would never have gotten involved in Thomas’s sches.

“Brother-in-law, we got a free pass by just taking a nap,” Emily Lopez chuckled as soon as she got into the car.

Jas Brown, however, expressed so concern, “You don’t feel unwell, do you?”

“No, not at all.

I feel great,” Emily quickly replied.

Seeing Emily’s condition, Jas was convinced she was alright.

He had also consud the hallucinogen, which had little effect on him.

During his ti with Hawk Squad, building a resistance to such substances was mandatory training.

Over ti, his body developed a resistance to these drugs—a practice unique to Hawk Squad that other special forces would not undertake due to ethical concerns and potential international outcry.

Considering his own reaction, the drug was not as potent as the seller had claid and seed harmless to the human body.

This reassured Jas that Emily was indeed okay.

For Emily, the incident with the drug was just a minor interlude; what she was most excited about was going to the movies with Jas.

So, she urged him to find a cinema where they could watch a film.

Jas didn’t have much planned for the afternoon, so he drove Emily to a nearby cinema.

It had been ages since he last went to a movie theater—the last ti being in high school with lody Yoody, sneaking out to see a film twice.

“Brother-in-law, what movie should we watch?” Emily asked, looking at the listings.

Jas smiled, “Whatever you want to watch is fine with ; I have no idea what’s good.”

“How about this one?” Emily pointed to a movie title below.

Jas couldn’t help but laugh, “That’s a horror movie.

Aren’t you going to be scared?”

“I watched a horror movie once and scared myself silly; I couldn’t dare to watch alone again.

But now I have you with , I want to give it another try,” she said, grabbing Jas’s arm and gently shaking it as she pleaded, “Please, brother-in-law, will you agree?”

“Alright, alright, I agree.

If you want to watch it, we’ll watch it,” Jas hastily agreed, finding Emily’s coaxing quite overwhelming.

After buying their tickets and Emily stocking up on a heap of snacks, they entered Theater 6 to await the start of the movie.

The theater wasn’t crowded, housing just over twenty people, all sitting apart.

Since Jas and Emily weren’t a couple, they didn’t need to opt for the couple’s box in the back.

Soon, the movie began.

It wasn’t very scary at first, but as the plot moved forward, one horrifying scene followed another, accompanied by eerie music that made one’s skin crawl.

The whole theater echoed with screams—louder than from a full house.

Jas, having faced real-life horrors far worse than this film, sat unflinched; such movies no longer interested him.

However, Emily was completely engrossed.

She clung to Jas’s arm the entire ti, hiding half her body behind him.

Whenever a frightening scene appeared, she buried her head in his back and peeked out sneakily, as if this would make her less afraid.

With Emily almost lying against Jas’s back, her chest pressed tightly against it.

Especially as she bobbed her head in and out of hiding, her chest rubbed against his back.

It’s often said that watching a horror movie with a woman usually ends with her seeking comfort in the man’s chest, but Emily’s approach was different, providing Jas with an unusual yet enchanting experience.

As alluring as it was, Jas didn’t harbor any provocative thoughts; he was so used to playing the role of her brother-in-law, treating her like a sister, and this ti was no exception.

Finally, the movie ended, and the lights in the theater ca back on.

Everyone sighed with relief.

Jas patted Emily’s hand, “Haven’t had enough yet?

It’s ti to go.”

Emily grinned, “That was so thrilling.”

Jas chuckled, “We still need to leave, or your sister will start worrying about where you are.”

They left the theater, Emily not hiding behind Jas this ti but still clutching his arm, evidently still rattled by the film.

Jas drove all the way to Gina Lopez’s residential area, saying, “Alright, head ho now.”

“Brother-in-law, can you walk ho?” Emily pleaded again, gripping Jas’s arm with a woeful expression.

Jas widened his eyes in surprise, “Really?

It’s broad daylight.

Are you still scared?”

“I…

I’m scared,” Emily admitted with a shy twist.
