114: Chapter 114: The Host Arrives 114: Chapter 114: The Host Arrives John Stephens’s father wasn’t too skeptical about Jas Brown.

He relaxed imdiately when he saw Jas Brown had found the hosts and said to everyone, “Co on, we still need help with handing out cigarettes and liquor, and setting off fireworks and such; it’s all up to you guys.”

Everyone followed John Stephens’s father to a corner of the hall to discuss their respective tasks, while Amy Smith and two other girls ran outside the hotel to wait for the hosts.

They waited for over ten minutes.

A red Mazda 6 pulled up at the entrance of the hotel.

When the car door opened, two tall won in large sunglasses stepped out side by side and walked towards the hotel entrance.

Despite the sunglasses covering most of their faces, one could still tell they were definitely beauties.

The two of them were Alice Brown and Laura.

Not seeing Jas at the hotel entrance, Alice called Jas to tell him they had arrived.

Jas replied that he would co out soon and asked them to wait.

Amy Smith, looking at the two beautiful won at the entrance, thought they looked familiar.

A female classmate next to her gently nudged her and whispered, “Do those two look like Alice Brown and Laura?”

Amy Smith’s eyes lit up just as Alice Brown and Laura looked their way, and she finally recognized them as YODC City’s most famous hosts.

“It really is them!” Amy Smith exclaid excitedly, then rushed without thinking to Alice Brown and Laura.

However, upon reaching them, she didn’t know what to do and stamred, “It really is you!

I’m your fan!”

Alice Brown and Laura did have so fans in YODC City.

Although they were not surrounded by crowds like big celebrities, it was common for fans to ask for their autographs.

They both smiled faintly, and Laura said, “Thank you for your support.”

Amy Smith was even more excited, unable to find a topic to discuss with them.

Suddenly, she rembered Jas had told her to et the hosts here, and seeing the two waiting there, she connected the dots, “You…

you wouldn’t happen to be here to host the wedding, would you?”

Alice Brown and Laura both looked at Amy Smith and said, “That’s right, it should be this place.” Then Alice pointed towards the hotel’s archway.

Amy Smith’s eyes widened.

Although two families were holding events at the hotel today, one was for a housewarming, aning the one with the arch was John Stephens’s wedding.

So these two hosts were here for John Stephens’s wedding?

Could it be that when Jas said he’d invited these two to host, he ant them?

“Jas…

Mr.

Brown, you’re really busy,” Alice Brown and Laura both looked at the person behind Amy Smith with surprise.

Amy quickly turned around and saw Jas Brown approaching.

“I was helping a classmate out and got delayed, sorry about that,” Jas greeted them cheerily.

Alice Brown and Laura approached Jas Brown and Laura comnted, “Mr.

Brown, you really get involved in everything, don’t you?”

Jas laughed heartily, “Of course, I have to help out at a friend’s wedding.”

“Mr.

Brown is really generous.”

After a brief chat, Alice Brown and Laura, wanting to leave a good impression on Jas, told him, “Mr.

Brown, it’s getting late.

The groom hasn’t returned yet.

I need to et his parents to gather so information.

Moreover, after the groom brings back the bride, we’ll need to chat with them a bit to make hosting the wedding more interesting.”

“Sure!” Jas nodded and said, “Let Amy Smith take you there.

I still have so things to finish up.”

“Alright then, you go ahead, Mr.

Brown.”

Jas turned around and said to Amy Smith, “Amy, you take the two hosts to et John Stephens’s parents.”

Amy stood still, looking completely dumbfounded, while the other two female classmates also hadn’t snapped out of their daze.

What was happening?

Among their classmates, Jas wasn’t the most highly regarded, yet here were YODC City’s most famous hosts repeatedly calling him “Mr.

Brown,” sothing they found hard to accept.

“What are you spacing out for?

Hurry up, we’re short on ti.

Do you want John Stephens’s wedding to be a disaster?” Jas patted Amy Smith’s shoulder.

Amy jolted back to reality, stared at Jas, and asked, “What did you say?”

Jas was montarily at a loss, “I told you to take them to et John Stephens’s parents.

They need to know a few things.”

Amy’s eyes, already wide, resembled two small bulbs as she excitedly asked, “You said… let take them?”

Jas was defeated by Amy’s reaction; the impact of the two hosts was indeed significant.

He could only say, “Yes, you take them.

Hurry up.”

Only then did Amy joyfully lead Alice Brown and Laura towards one side of the hall.

The other two classmates finally ca back to their senses, enviously watching Amy before both turning their heads towards Jas and seizing his arms, urgently asking, “Jas, how do you know these hosts?”

Jas broke into a sweat, “I’ll tell you later.

You should help Amy out first; I still have things to do.”

The two female classmates, although extrely curious, knew they would eventually have a chance to ask Jas Brown about the matter.

But once Alice Brown and Laura had left, they feared they might never get to et them again and hurriedly chased after them.

When Jas Brown returned to help with the activities, everyone had yet to see the hosts.

John Stephens beca sowhat anxious and said to Jas Brown, “Jas, have the hosts arrived yet?”

Jas Brown replied with a smile, “Yes, Amy Smith and the others are with them.”

It was only then that everyone realized they hadn’t seen Amy Smith and the other two female classmates for a while.

Amy Smith was the most active among the girls, and her absence was particularly noticeable.

John Stephens imdiately said, “What kind of big-na hosts are these that even Amy Smith and the other two are following them?”

Jas Brown was just about to respond when Amy Smith and the other two classmates ca running over, high-spirited.

John Stephens imdiately repeated his earlier question.

Amy Smith, lifting her chin proudly, said, “It’s a secret for now,” and then she winked at Jas Brown.

“No way.

What could possibly be secret?” David Robinson asked, looking puzzled at Amy Smith.

Amy Smith giggled and said, “You’ll know soon enough.”

Suddenly, Bobby Robinson said, “It couldn’t be that you’ve invited Alice Brown and Laura, right?”

Before Amy Smith could respond, John Stephens scoffed and said, “Don’t be ridiculous.

If you had really invited those two, then I would eat my hat.”

Amy Smith and the other two classmates who had gone out with her had an odd expression on their faces.

They wanted to laugh but dared not, and seeing them like this, John Stephens suddenly felt that his statent might have been a bit too presumptuous.

Nevertheless, he shook his head.

After all, Alice Brown and Laura were celebrities.

Even his father couldn’t invite them directly, let alone his classmates.

Jas had ntioned inviting two hosts, not them.

Moreover, as a minor employee, Jas couldn’t possibly manage to bring such celebrity hosts.

At that mont, the wedding procession cars arrived, and soone called them out to set off firecrackers to welco the bride and groom.

All the male students imdiately ran out, temporarily setting aside their earlier conversation.

In YODC City, there was a special person in charge of managing wedding functions, so hosts weren’t needed imdiately.

Seeing John Stephens holding his bride in a pristine white wedding gown, with a face full of blissful smiles, all the classmates started to cheer loudly.

Amy Smith and the other two female classmates, however, watched John Stephens’s bride with a hint of jealousy.

What a blissfully happy woman, to have Alice Brown and Laura hosting her wedding.

Spotting Jas Brown amongst the spectators, Amy Smith approached and whispered, “Jas, when I get married, can you help get them to host my wedding too?”

At that mont, Jas couldn’t outright refuse, although whether he could actually secure such a favor was uncertain.

He replied, “I can’t promise anything, but I will try my best.

After all, we are old classmates.

If I can help you, I definitely will.”

Amy Smith rolled her eyes and said, “Don’t give that; you managed it for John Stephens.

You have to do the sa for when the ti cos, or I won’t let it go.”

Jas Brown laughed and could only nod in agreent, adding quickly, “I promise you, but keep this favor to yourself.

If word gets out, everyone will ask , and I really might not be able to manage.”

Amy Smith laughed and said, “Okay, as long as you help , I’m good, even if you forget about everyone else.”

At that mont, John Stephens brought his bride to their designated room to change and prepare for the ceremony.

They had just entered when soone knocked on the door.

John Stephens hurriedly opened the door only to see two stylishly stunning won.

He found them vaguely familiar but couldn’t quite place them and thought they might be so relatives.

He courteously greeted, “Hello.”

“Hello, groom.

We’re here to host your wedding today, and we need to gather so information about your love story.”

John Stephens quickly agreed, though he was a bit confused, having t the original hosts the night before.

He ushered them into the room, and as he closed the door, he suddenly realized who these two won were and was instantly stunned.

anwhile, his bride Jessica Thompson, overwheld with excitent, stutteringly said, “Alice Brown, Laura, is it really you?”

“Yes,” smiled Alice Brown, “Today, I’m here to host your wedding.

I hope you will be satisfied.”

“Satisfied!

Very satisfied!” exclaid Jessica Thompson, nodding vigorously, with tears of joy streaming down her face.

John Stephens, being a man, quickly stood beside her.

Jessica Thompson clung to John Stephens’s arm, almost fainting with happiness, and choked up, “Jas, you are truly wonderful to .”

At that mont, John Stephens still hadn’t grasped what was happening and cautiously said to Alice Brown and Laura, “Hosts, I’m a bit confused.

I…”

Laura interrupted him with a cheerful smile, “It’s alright as long as you know we are your hosts.

We have so questions for you to answer, and you need to cooperate with us well.

Otherwise, there might be flaws in the wedding ceremony, and that would be your loss.”

John Stephens and Jessica Thompson took several deep breaths to calm themselves, while Alice Brown and Laura skillfully moderated their emotions, quickly stabilizing them.

However, Jessica Thompson kept clutching John Stephens’s hand tightly.

What a massive surprise this was!

To think that their wedding was being hosted by these two—it was an incredible blessing for any woman.
