After studying the map of the region, Aion confird that the dungeon was beyond the border. While the kingdom had no interest in fighting for that dungeon and losing personnel, the kingdom never retreated from that area, so the dungeon was located in a complicated spot.

For the lord of the territory to head to that place alone, it would be insanity, but thanks to the help of Furtivity, Aion could cross good distances without being noticed. He did exactly that, but then when he reached the area of the dungeon, he found several guys there… if the people of his kingdom weren't even trying to use that dungeon, the guys from Rosberg kingdom were.

"I guess coming here early in the morning was a mistake… in any case, I need to learn how often they use this dungeon, so I might stay around and observe for a while," Aion thought.

Most of Aion's classes were about to reach level twenty, but he felt that he would need an extra push for that to happen fast enough, and the dungeon would offer him the extra push. It was hard to confirm that from a distance, but those guys didn't seem that strong. Maybe Aion's standards were too high since he fought a lot of strong people in the tournant.

Regardless, from a distance, he couldn't tell if the people there had mutated in so aspects or were descendants of those who had obtained so power through mutation, so he had to be cautious. Regardless, Aion observed the dungeon for a full day, but the guys around who were just chilling never noticed his presence. Still, around the end of the day, a group of five people left the dungeon, and then everyone left…

"I guess they don't feel the need to guard the dungeon at night since the people from here gave up on that dungeon a long ti ago… well, now, how should I proceed?" Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Fighting those guys was an option. With a preemptive magic attack, he was confident that he could wound them so much that he would have an easy ti fighting until they were all defeated. Still, Aion couldn't kill people in cold blood without a reason, and there was a chance that the death of those guys might cause an invasion.

In any case, Aion approached the dungeon while using Furtivity just to be sure that no one would see him. He could always use his magic to create flas inside and illuminate things, after all. In any case, the entrance of the dungeon was a bit weird… it resembled the entrance of a small building like a warehouse, but it would lead Aion downwards.

"I thought that all dungeons were naturally made… the monsters couldn't have carved out this, could they?" Aion asked while frowning.

The entrance of the dungeon had so drawings of so four-legged beasts fighting each other. They had upper bodies that seed like lions, but they had two heads and their fur, at least with the drawings, looked like fire. Aion thought that it was an exaggeration, but he didn't drop his guard when he entered the dungeon.

"Co to think of it. I didn't see them taking out many things from the dungeon. Their luggage was light…" Aion thought.

The path went downward in a straight line and then in a spiral. That way, Aion won't be noticed soon if those guys return. He could stay near the entrance and watch things like that, but Aion wanted to fight as many enemies as possible, so he had to head to the bottom.

After going down for fifty or so ters, the spiral path ended, and Aion began to feel the sll of blood and of sothing burning. However, there were no flas around. Aion made a fire sphere fly around, and then it revealed the corpses of those monsters. They had four legs, and two heads and their mane seed like it could burn. They were pretty big as well… being around four ters long and two tall.

That was free loot for Aion, so he made his weapon absorb the body. After a minute, he got so bones, leather, at, and two red gems. Aion couldn't see the information of things in the real world, but things changed when they were in his inventory.

Origin Ember

A magic gem rich with the properties of fire magic. It grants small fire resistance when used on defensive gear and so fire damage when used on weapons.

Gems were good materials for the magic staff, and when Aion made it absorb them, he got so results pretty soon. There were ten corpses around, and the gems alone made the refinent reach level fifteen.

"I guess I will use magic here… it will help deal with the problem of the water in the town and perhaps can even speed the creation of the channel…" Aion thought.

"Urrrrgggghhhhhh…"

Just when Aion thought of that, he heard so grunts. It seed that so monsters had finally approached him… he could hear so light footsteps, and Aion didn't like their numbers. All of a sudden, they began to charge at Aion, and he summoned a thick ice wall. It didn't take long for them to hit the walls and make so cracks appear on the wall.

The monsters were big, and since they were three, they began to attack the walls with their claws and make them crack… when the wall finally cracked, Aion created another but made it spin horizontally before firing it at the monsters like a giant shuriken. In the end, Aion regretted it a little… he made the projectile too sharp and that made a lot of blood gush around while the heads of the monsters were being pierced.

Aion didn't know if the enemies were that weak against ice magic or his build, where he had only allocated points in Magic, was just that overpowering. In any case, Aion felt that he used too much mana, and he needed to learn how to control it more.
